面花（闻喜花馍），山西省闻喜县传统美术，国家级非物质文化遗产之一。

走进闻喜花馍
闻喜花馍已有1000多年的历史。闻喜花馍的造型一般以立体形为主，一般分为四层，由较底部的糕底、中间的红枣支架、糕面以及较上面的插制的面花组成。
Wenxi Huamo has a history of over 1000 years. The shape of Wenxi Huamo is generally three-dimensional, divided into four layers, consisting of a bottom cake base, a middle jujube stand, a cake surface, and a top inserted noodle flower.
这四部分中，除去作观赏用的面花外，其余都可食用。闻喜花馍作为一种民间艺术，和当地人们的生活是息息相关的。它承载了人们的信仰，是人们精神生活的依赖，不同时期的花馍，反映了不同时期人们的社会意识形态。
Among these four parts, except for the ornamental flowers, the rest are edible. Wenxi Huamo, as a folk art, is closely related to the lives of local people. It carries people's beliefs and is a reliance on their spiritual life. Huamo from different periods reflects people's social ideologies at different times.
Wenxi Huamo
花馍，又叫面塑、面花、礼馍、花糕等。它至少有数千种，按性能可分为食用性花馍、观赏性花馍，或者二者兼而有之；按造型可分为糕类、馍类、吉祥物类、盘顶类；按功能分为婚丧嫁娶、节日庆典等类。表现形式主要有：插棍式、吊线式、浮雕式、雕式、微雕式、仿效式等。
Huamo, also known as noodle sculpture, noodle flower, gift bread, flower cake, etc. It has at least thousands of varieties, which can be divided into edible steamed buns, ornamental steamed buns, or both according to their performance. According to their shapes, they can be divided into cake type, bread type, mascot type, and dish top type, Divided by function into categories such as weddings, funerals, festivals, and celebrations. The main forms of expression include stick insertion style, hanging line style, relief style, carving style, micro carving style, imitation style, etc.
了解闻喜花馍
闻喜花馍艺术源于奴隶社会后期、封建社会初期，是一种用陶质、土质、木质、面质等原料捏制而成，替代人、马、牛、羊、猪等活物的实物，用于祭祀神灵，主要用于民间祭祀活动。有传言，春秋时期，有一位姓卫的姑娘，心灵手巧，以制作精美的花馍而名扬千里，她所捏制的花果、鸟兽、人物都栩栩如生、活灵活现，被皇帝封为御官，向百姓传授花馍的技艺，被尊为闻喜花馍的创始人。
Wenxi Huamo's art originated in the late slave society and early feudal society. It is a physical object made from materials such as pottery, soil, wood, and flour, which replaces living animals such as humans, horses, cows, sheep, and pigs. It is used to worship gods and is mainly used in folk worship activities. There is a rumour that during the Spring and Autumn Period, there was a girl surnamed Wei who was skilled in making exquisite flower bread and became famous for her exquisite craftsmanship. The flowers, fruits, birds, animals, and characters she kneaded were all lifelike and lively. She was appointed as an imperial official by the emperor and taught the people the art of flower bread. She was revered as the founder of Wenxi Flower Bread.
明清时期，花馍被列入贡品，供皇宫贵族四季享用。随着历史的发展，花馍被赋予了新的寓意进入寻常百姓家，每逢过节或红白事，百姓用花馍表达对亲人的祝福和对逝者的思念。
During the Ming and Qing dynasties, Huamo was included as a tribute for the imperial palace and nobles to enjoy throughout the year. With the development of history, Huamo has been endowed with new meanings and entered ordinary households. During festivals or red and white events, people use Huamo to express their blessings to their loved ones and their longing for the deceased.
伴随科学技术的兴起和经济的繁荣，人民思想观念的解放，社会的发展和文化的进步，闻喜花馍的祭祀功能逐渐淡出，取而代之的是更具现代美学价值的社会公共美学感受。其艺术性、观赏性进一步凸显，人们为花馍增加了传说故事、神话以及戏曲人物等，增加了知识性和趣味性。
With the rise of science and technology, the prosperity of the economy, the liberation of people's ideological concepts, the development of society, and the progress of culture, the sacrificial function of Wenxi Huamo has gradually faded away, replaced by a more modern aesthetic value of social public aesthetic perception. Its artistic and ornamental value is further highlighted, and people have added legendary stories, myths, and opera characters to Huamo, adding knowledge and fun.
