Regong art is an important school of Tibetan Buddhist art, mainly including thangka, murals, embroidery, sculpture, architectural colour painting, butter flower and other forms of plastic art and traditional crafts.

热贡艺术的主要创作群体分布在黄南州同仁县的五屯村、年都乎村、尕沙日村、郭玛日村等村落，又自成体系。
The main creative groups of Regong art are distributed in Wutun Village, Nianduhu Village, Garshari Village, Guomari Village and other villages in Tongren County, Huangnan Prefecture, and have their system.
热贡艺术的传承方式主要以师徒传承和父子传承为主，由于历史上的热贡艺术品不追求署名，好多历史精品佳作不知作者，其师承关系只能追溯到近代以来。
The inheritance of Regong art is mainly based on the inheritance of master and apprentice and father and son. Because the historical Regong art does not pursue signature, many historical masterpieces do not know the author, and the relationship between teachers and students can only be traced back to modern times.
在现代化的冲击下，热贡艺术面临着传承的挑战。但幸运的是，越来越多的年轻人开始学习和传承这门艺术，让热贡艺术在新时代焕发出新的生命力。
