Dai paper
傣纸是中国云南省西双版纳地区傣族人民传承的一种古老造纸技艺，被誉为“雨林守望之纸”，具有深厚的历史和文化价值。
Dai paper is an ancient papermaking technique inherited by the Dai people in Xishuangbanna, Yunnan Province, China. It is known as "rainforest watchpaper" and has profound historical and cultural value.

Dai paper, originating from the Dai region of Yunnan Province, is a traditional handmade papermaking technique with a long history. It has a long history, dating back to the Tang Dynasty, and is the crystallisation of the wisdom of the Dai people. It is one of the most primitive papermaking techniques that can be seen in China.
傣纸的制作原料为桑科植物构树的树皮，整个过程不添加任何化学药剂，保留了造纸术发明初期的“浸泡、蒸发、捣浆、浇纸、晒纸”五步流程和11道工序。
The raw material of Dai paper is the bark of a mulberry tree, the whole process does not add any chemical agents and retains the five-step process and 11 processes of "soaking, evaporation, ramming, pouring paper and drying paper" in the early days of paper invention.

By using non-heritage Dai paper in product packaging design, TD Factory studio has achieved the organic integration of tradition and modernity, which can not only inherit and carry forward the traditional culture of the Dai people but also add unique ethnic customs and artistic values to the products.
将傣纸用于包装设计，通过添加天然染色剂、新鲜花瓣、纯天然菩提叶脉等方式，制作出色彩丰富、图案独特的包装纸。
The Dai paper was used in packaging design, and by adding natural dye, fresh petals, pure natural bodhi veins, etc., the paper was made with rich colours and unique patterns.
傣纸的应用已经从最初的抄写经书、制作孔明灯等日常用途，逐渐衍生出了包装纸、手提包、礼盒、纸扇、灯具、装饰画等60余种产品，用此作为包装无疑是对中国式的繁缛包装进行减法，减少不必要的资源浪费。
The application of Dai paper has gradually derived more than 60 kinds of products, such as wrapping paper, handbags, gift boxes, paper fans, lamps and decorative paintings, from the initial daily use of copying Sutras and making Kongming lanterns.
傣纸以其环保性、坚韧洁白、防腐防蛀等特点而闻名，是中国造纸术的“活化石”。TD Factory工作室在包装设计中使用傣纸，不仅能够提供环保的包装材料，还能保证产品的安全性和耐用性，此袋子可以重复使用，结实耐磨，符合可持续发展设计的循环使用原则。
Dai paper is famous for its environmental protection, tough white, anti-corrosion and mothproof characteristics, and is the "living fossil" of Chinese paper making. TD Factory's use of Dai paper in packaging design not only provides environmentally friendly packaging materials but also ensures product safety and durability.
TD Factory工作室目前的商品可以通过线上微店进行购买，同时，傣纸的制作过程不添加任何化学药剂，全程手工制作，生产出来的纸张环保且纸纤维韧性好。
At present, the products of TD Factory Studio can be purchased through the online micro-store. Meanwhile, the Dai paper production process does not add any chemical agents, and the whole process is handmade. The produced paper is environmentally friendly, and the paper fibre has good toughness.
