教材分析

   该板块的话题是“介绍我们的学校”。以Liu Yi回信给Millie为背景,呈现了Liu Yi描写自己的校园和校园生活的文章。邮件中Liu Yi先介绍了他学校的大致情况,然后具体介绍了他学校的各处场所,以及在各场所里参加的活动,再介绍了学校里的老师和同学,与他们之间融洽的关系,最后概括了自己对新学校的感受。

学情分析

1. 学生经过前几节课的学习,已经对本单元的重点词汇(如school, classroom, library等)和基本句型(如This is... / There is/are...)有了一定的掌握,但在实际运用中可能还不够熟练。

2. 七年级学生具有较强的好奇心和表现欲,喜欢参与各种活动,但他们的注意力集中时间较短,需要通过多样化的教学方法和活动来保持学习兴趣。

3. 学生在逻辑思维和语言组织能力方面还有待提高,在进行综合性的语言输出时可能会遇到困难,需要教师给予适当的引导和帮助。

教学目标


通过本课的学习,学生能够:

教学过程 

Step1: Lead in

Enjoy some pictures of our school and try to answer some questions.

Q1: What’s your school like?

Q2: What does your school have?

Q3: What’s your favourite place at your school?

Q4: What are you teachers and classmate like?

(设计意图:通过展示本校图片导入,学生回答相关问题,引出本节课的主题“Welcome to our school”,激发学生兴趣;回答相关问题,复习旧知,激活学生已知。)


Step2: Pre-writing

Activity1 “Welcome to Millie’s new school”

Review the email from Xinyue to Liu Yi and answer some questions about Millies school.

1.What are the perfect places for Millie to study at school?

2.What can Millie and her classmates do in green spaces?

3.What can they do on the sports field?

4.What can they see on the noticeboards?
