一、语篇研读

What

本部分是一个视频脚本,通过九年级学长对于阳光中学的介绍,鼓励学生关注校园场所、设施和校内活动,享受学校生活。

Why

通过大量图片和语篇能让学生进一步了解本单元的重点知识点,学习如何用所学的语言和结构去介绍自己的新学校,在学习过程中培养学生的思维能力和读写能力,激发学生对新学校的热爱,树立积极乐观的学习态度,享受多彩、有意义的校园生活。

How

本部分围绕wonderful school话题,通过语篇和对话训练让学生掌握本部分的核心知识点。提供墨西哥学校的拓展语篇,指导学生快速浏览文章抓住关键信息,培养从浅层阅读走向深度阅读,由浅层思考走向深度思考的能力。通过微写作等形式的课堂活动,提高学生的语言运用能力和逻辑思维能力。通过呈现紫石中学的视频和图片,激发学生学习紫石精神,茫然爱学校生活,梳理正确的价值观。

二、学情分析

     本课时的授课对象是七年级学生,在Reading的第一课时, 学生已经分析了文本的基本结构,对于阳光中学的主要地点,设施,活动都有了一定的了解,对中心词汇classroom buildings, sports field, green spaces, noticeboards也有了一定的积累,并且能够看图片进行简单的描述。基于大单元主题教学,学生在了解文章内容的基础上,还需要深入文本,通过更多的练习和语篇帮助学生们掌握核心知识点,提升学生的思维能力和介绍自己新学校的写作能力,从而激发学生对于学校的热爱,达到育人效果。这是本节课的教学重点和难点。

三、教学目标

1. To retell the text they have learned and learn some uses of key words.

2. To learn how to introduce Zishi Middle School to the new teachers.

3. To know more about a special school abroad.


四、教学过程

Activity One: Enter the wonderful school

Brainstorming:Why does Jack Liu think Sunshine Middle School is a wonderful school?








【设计意图】复习旧知,引出本节课的中心话题:wonderful school

Activity Two: Learn about the wonderful school

Step 1: Wonderful places: Work in pairs and use the sentence pattern to make up a dialogue.
















Step 2: Wonderful environment: Look at the pictures and have the discussion.

Q: Why are green spaces important for a school?









Step 3: Wonderful activities: Look at the pictures and finish the following exercises.









Step 4: Wonderful people: Enjoy the video about Yuelu Acadamy and ask the question:

Q:What do you think of the teachers and students in Yuelu Academy?

















Step 5: Read the passage and fill in the blanks









【设计意图】采用图片形式帮助学生巩固文章主要内容,在回忆的语篇中贯穿重点单词句型的讲解,避免枯燥乏味,为后面的写作奠定了基础。同时,在这一部分结束后完成板书的第一部分。

Activity Three: Know more about other schools

Step 1: Read this article carefully and answer the following questions.

Q1:Why is the school called “a school on wheels (车轮)”?

Q2:What will the farmers do when the bus comes?

Q3:When do the people on the farm come to have their lessons?

Q4:What do you think of the people on the farm?

































Step 2: Look at the pictures and have a discussion:

Q: What should Zishi Middle students be like?

















【设计意图】利用拓展语篇训练,激发读者思考,从课文表面的wonderful引入到深层次的wonderful spirits,培养学生从浅层阅读走向深度阅读,由浅层思考走向深度思考的能力。通过现实案例,用小组合作的形式提升学生对学校精神的准确认识,培养学生热爱学校,热爱学校生活,热爱学校精神的意识。

Activity Four: Introduce the wonderful school

  Step 1: Mini-writing

Use the words and phrases to introduce our new school.

Give the students some tips and useful expressions to help them complete the writing.

  Step 2: Presentation

Choose some groups to show their articles and ask someone to make comments on them.









【设计意图】从宏观层面转到微观层面,通过前文的分析引导学生联系自身,书写实际具体的内容。写作过程中要求将重点词汇引入其中,也有助于学生重点词汇的把握和运用。以小组的形式进行呈现,有助于培养学生的合作精神。

Shine with each other to have a better life.

















【设计意图】通过藏头诗与校训,进一步激发学生们的情绪,树立培养热爱学校,热爱学校生活,热爱学校精神的意识。

Activity Five:Assignment

 Must do:

  Improve your introduction to our new school and share it with your classmates.

 Choose to do:

 Learn more about ancient schools and share it with your      parents.
