语篇研读

what

本单元以 Do it yourself” 为主题,其属于 “人与自我” 范畴中的 “做人与做事” 主题群。该单元话题围绕 “勤于动手,乐于实践” 这一子主题展开。本节课作为此单元的语法课,教学内容包括运用祈使句给出指令以及运用 should 和 had better 给出建议

通过本节语法课的学习引导学生在关注本单元话题的同时激发学生对 DIY 的兴趣,培养学生的动手能力,合作能力和创新精神,培养学生问题意识和积极解决生活中遇到的问题的能力。引导学生在生活中积极给予他人建议,关心他人


how

本节语法课设计以DIY Club为主线,学生在了解DIY俱乐部的规则、准备DIY的材料、参加DIY的活动中层层推进教学活动,在情境中学习祈使句和should以及had better。



教学目标


通过本课的学习,学生能够:

1. 在语篇中学习祈使句,运用祈使句表达指令,提升学生的语言能力。

2. 运用should和had better来提出建议,在生活中积极给予他人建议,关心他人,树立积极面对生活的人生态度。

3. 培养积极动手,乐于实践,与他人合作的意识。

4. 运用相关语言表达方式,阐述自己的DIY作品的准备、制作方式,提出建议,培养学生的思维品质。


教学过程


Step 1 Join the DIY club

Activity 1 Know the rules of the DIY club

(1) Here are some rules for you to follow.

Lets read them together.

(2) We use imperatives to give instructions.

(3) Conclude the rules of positive imperatives.


【设计意图】构建加入DIY club的情境,呈现祈使句中Do sth. 跟 Be+adj.型的肯定祈使句,引导学生自主发现语法规则并归纳,总结此表达方式来给出指令的用法。


Activity 2 Prepare tools for the DIY Club

(1)What tools should we prepare for DIY?

(2)Safety tips for using scissors.

(3)Conclude the rules of negative imperatives.

Activity 3 Play a game: Do as I say

【设计意图】让学生了解需要准备的工具,呈现祈使句中Do sth. 跟 Be+adj.型的否定祈使句以及回答方式。同时,学生了解剪刀的使用注意事项,并操练表达指令的祈使句。

Activity 4 Take part in activities of the DIY Club

(1)Help Millie make a card to know how to remember things better.

(2)Know how to use and,or in imperatives and how to answer them.

【设计意图】在语篇中操练祈使句,坚持学用结合,引导学生在应用中内化所学语言知识,培养学生勤于动手的意识。

Activity 5 Make a pumpkin lantern

(1) Watch a video on how to make a pumpkin lantern.

(2) Reorder the instructions according to the video.

【设计意图】通过完成制作南瓜灯的步骤的排序,在语篇中激活巩固祈使句给指令的方式。

Activity 6 Give advice to a member of DIY Club

(1) Learn to give advice by should and had better.

(2) Conclude the rules of how to use should and had better.

(3) Give more advice to Sam.

【设计意图】以语篇为依托,在情境中呈现青少年可能遇到的问题,引入should和had better的学习并总结should和had better的用法。

Activity 7 Advice on DIY jobs

(1) Read and complete advice with should(not) or had better(not). 

(2) Use other ways to give advice.

【设计意图】帮助学生巩固所学知识,完成书本练习,拓展给建议的其他方式,操练祈使句的用法。

Activity 8 Show your own DIY works

Students introduce their DIY works according to the aspects:

1.What DIY did you do?

2.What tools should you prepare for it?

3.Show us the instructions of the DIY.

4.Did you have any problems?How did you solve them? 

5.What can you learn from the experience?

6.Ask your friend to give you some advice.

【设计意图】学生用本节课所学的祈使句知识来展示自己的DIY作品,培养学生的动手能力,合作能力和创新精神,培养学生问题意识和积极解决生活中遇到的问题的能力。引导学生在生活中积极给予他人建议,关心他人在操练本节课所学知识的同时引导学生树立积极的人生观

Activity 9 enjoy the beauty of Haian DIY, Zaran

【设计意图】拓展学生对传统DIY的了解。

作业设计:

Must do:

1.Draw a mind map about the rules of imperatives and how to use should and had better.

2.Write instructions on how to make Zaran.

Choose to do:

Give some advice to people on how to spread traditional Chinese DIY works.

【设计意图】面向全体学生,分层布置作业,提升学生的语言运用能力。
