9月20日下午,「绽放」——第三届学生艺术作品展在复星艺术中心ANNEX展厅开幕。本次展览由复旦附中策划,联合各分校及新加坡南洋女子中学校,呈现出同学们心灵深处情感与思想的真实写照;以不同的艺术语言,诉说着青春的故事,展现着青春的色彩。 

On the afternoon of September 20th, the third annual student art exhibition, "Blossoming," was held at the Fosun Annex Exhibition Art Center. This exhibition was curated by High School Affiliated to Fudan University, in collaboration with its branches and Singapore Nanyang Girls' High School.

It showcases the true reflections of the students' innermost emotions and thoughts, using diverse artistic expressions to tell the stories of youth and display the vibrant colors of adolescence.

The Third Annual Student Art Exhibition



“绽放”,一个富有生命力的词汇。它寓意着从孕育到破壳而出的时节,正如我们的学生,正值人生中最绚烂多彩的青春年华,心中充满了对世界的好奇、对知识的渴望、对美的独特理解。“绽放”,又不仅仅是某一个瞬间,而是生命之花生长的每一个瞬间,是生命不断超越自我,个体与他人、与世界建立紧密联系的过程,是不断实现自我认知和自我价值的生命旅程。 

“Blossoming” is a word brimming with vitality. It signifies the journey from nurturing to breaking through the soil, much like the vibrant years of our student lives, filled with curiosity about the world, a thirst for knowledge, and a unique understanding of beauty. 

Blossoming is not a singular moment but a continuous process—every moment of growth nurtures the flowers of our lives. It is the journey of surpassing ourselves and forging deep connections between individuals, between the self and the world. It is a lifelong voyage of discovering self-awareness and realizing self-worth.

本次展览包含了50件作品。其中,来自复旦附中国际部的展品为13件,收入「绽放」——第三届学生艺术作品展画册的作品为15件。国际部的学生们用丙烯画、彩铅、拼贴画以及雕塑等多种艺术形式展现了艺术之美以及自己对生活的哲思。

This exhibition features 50 artworks in total. It includes 13 pieces from Fudan International School (FDIS), and 15 artworks from FDIS are included in the catalog of this exhibition.

The students from FDIS used a variety of artistic forms, such as acrylic painting, colored pencils, collage, and sculpture, to showcase the beauty of art and their philosophical reflections on life.

The dandelion, gently dancing in the wind, transforms into skyborne fireworks; looking down, the bustling city stood proudly under a spectrum of colors.

Title: Oriental

Artist:Emma Zhuang

这件作品采用蜡染工艺制作而成,蜡染是印度流行的一种艺术形式。我在外层使用了多种图案的组合,为了创造出独特的东西,我在中间添加了我的姓名首字母。我是在浏览网页时得到这个想法的。我看到人们用他们的名字或姓名首字母制作手帕或艺术品。使用胶水(用于防染)的过程是一种非常有趣且令人平静的体验。总的来说,我喜欢创作这件作品并学习这种新的艺术形式。

This work was made using batik, an art form popular in India. I used a combination of multiple patterns on the outer layer, and to create something unique, I added my initials in the centre. I got this idea from when I was browsing the web. I saw people create handkerchiefs or artworks using their names or initials. The process of using glue (for the resist) was a very interesting and calming experience. Overall, I enjoyed creating this piece and learning about this new form of art.

Title: 7-Layers of Freedom

这是我在 2024 年美术课上创作的一幅抽象艺术作品。它是我对过去一年生活的感受和想法的艺术表现。在各个层次上使用各种方法使整体视觉叙事更具深度和复杂性。橙色是背景色,代表着热情和喜悦的主题,对构图至关重要。但覆盖作品中心区域的黑色层次在这种生动的背景下显得格外突出。颜色和形式的组合使我的思想中无意识和混乱的一面呈现出来,尽管从远处看它可能显得杂乱无章。

This is an abstract art made by me during the 2024 Art Class. It is an artistic representation of my feelings and thoughts for my past year's life. The use of various approaches throughout the layers gives the overall visual narrative more depth and complexity. 

The orange as the background color, which stands for themes of enthusiasm and joy, is essential to the composition. But the layers of black that cover the piece's central area stand out against this vivid background. The combination of colors and forms makes the unconscious and chaotic aspect of the my mind, even though it may appear disorganized from a distance.

Title: Live in Love

这张作品是我的自画像,我按照我的自拍把它以绘画的形式表达了出来。并且,我用暖色调的颜色绘画了主题人物,用冷色调的爱心作为背景,因为爱心一直是我的一个代表符号。取名Live in Love是因为我觉得这幅画很好地反映了我生活的充满爱的环境,以及我对于身边的大家的爱。我一直希望我可以用爱去感染身边的大家,帮助大家,同时也希望大家都可以遇到自己的“爱”。

This work is my self-portrait. I followed a selfie and expressed it in the form of a painting, and I painted the subject in warm colours and used a cold heart as a background because the heart has always been a symbol for me. I named it Live in Love because I think it reflects the loving environment I live in and the love I have for the people around me! I always hope that I can infect everyone around me with love and help them, and I also hope that everyone can meet their own "love".

Breath of Existence 是对内心动荡和超越的充满活力探索,通过大胆的禅绕画,栩栩如生。这件艺术品通过漩涡图案和鲜艳色彩的动态相互作用来捕捉观众的想象力,反映了深厚的创造力。受安迪·沃霍尔 (Andy Warhol) 的启发,这件作品将我的脸融入了四个角落,代表了我的热情和影响。这种个人风格象征着我生活中塑造和激励我的各个方面。构图的中心是一个中央十字架——一个既吞噬又浮现的抽象形式,象征着个人成长和斗争的周期性。漩涡状的图案和颜色让观者深入体验情感的复杂层次,使Breath of Existence深刻地阐述了创造力与自我发现之间的相互作用。


Breath of Existence is a vibrant exploration of inner turmoil and transcendence, brought to life through bold Zentangle. This artwork captures the viewer’s imagination with a dynamic interplay of swirling patterns and vivid colors, reflecting a deep well of creativity. Inspired by Andy Warhol, the piece incorporates my face in each of the four corners, representing both my passions and influences. This personal touch signifies the diverse aspects of my life that shape and inspire me.

At the heart of the composition lies a central cross—an abstract form that both engulfs and emerges, symbolizing the cyclical nature of personal growth and struggle. The swirling patterns and colors invite viewers to delve into the complex layers of experience and emotion, making Breathe of Existence a profound statement on the interplay between creativity and self-discovery.

《变化》是一部动画视觉作品,它讲述了一个苹果被切开后变成蝴蝶,然后又变成毛毛虫,最后又变回苹果的故事。这个灵感来源于我们每天吃的苹果和我非常喜欢的蝴蝶。我觉得这两者的形状非常相似,所以我想把它们结合起来,创作一个短故事。

Change is an animated visual work that depicts the story of an apple being cut open and transforms into a butterfly, then a caterpillar, and finally back into an apple. The inspiration comes from the apples we eat every day and what I like a lot: butterfly. I feel that the shapes of the two are very similar, so I wanted to combine them to create a short story.

Title: Light in the Woods

这幅画描绘了一个宁静的森林景观,大自然的宁静与一个流浪者的孤独旅程汇合在一起。柔和的金色光线从右边照射过来,画面捕捉到了傍晚宁静的本质。树林里,绿意浓淡,呈现出一幅生命的挂毯,每棵树都高高耸立,树叶在淡淡的微风中轻轻起舞。

一条狭窄而蜿蜒的小路穿过森林的中心,为观众的眼睛提供了视觉向导,并引导他们到达画作的焦点——一个人带着一个手提箱走在小路上,让观者思考他将要做什么。


This painting depicts a serene forest landscape, where nature's tranquility converges with the solitary journey of a wanderer. Illuminated by the soft, golden light that streams from the right, the scene captures the essence of late afternoon serenity. The woods, resplendent in various shades of green, offer a tapestry of life, with each tree standing tall and proud, their leaves dancing gently in the subtle breeze.


A narrow, winding path cuts through the heart of the forest, serving as a visual guide for the viewer's eye and leading to the painting's focal point—a person with a suitcase walking on the pathway, leaving viewers to think about what his going to do.

Title: The Garden in the Sun

这幅丙烯画描绘了花园在阳光的照耀下闪闪发光的场景。画面的焦点是一座精致的三层花坛,花坛中,粉色与白色花朵交织相映,细腻的笔触被赋予了近乎真实的质感与生命力。阳光自左上角斜洒而下,为这静谧的画面添上一抹温暖的金色光辉。光线与阴影的精妙处理,不仅勾勒出花卉立体的形态,更在部分花瓣上营造出细腻的光泽感。这样的光影效果,不仅增强了画面的立体感,也引导观者的视线穿梭于花丛之间,感受每一瓣花朵的微妙变化。而在花坛的前景与背景中也种满了不同的花卉,通过色彩的深浅与形态的差异,构建出丰富的层次与深度,使得整个画面既统一又富有变化。这些花朵或聚或散,相互衬托,展现了大自然的多样性。

This acrylic painting depicts the garden glistening in the sunlight. The focal point of the picture is a delicate three-tiered flower bed, in which pink and white flowers intertwine, and delicate brushstrokes give an almost real texture and life. The sun slanted down from the upper left corner, adding a warm golden glow to the quiet picture. The subtle treatment of light and shadow not only outlines the three-dimensional shape of the flower, but also creates a delicate luster on some petals. This light and shadow effect not only enhances the three-dimensional sense of the picture, but also guides the viewer's sight to shuttle between the flowers and feel the subtle changes of each petal of flowers.


In the foreground and background of the flower bed are also planted with different flowers, through the difference of color depth and shape, to build a rich level and depth, so that the whole picture is both unified and full of changes. These flowers come together or come apart, complementing each other and showing the diversity of nature.

本次展览于9月20日在复星艺术中心ANNEX空间开幕,为期一个月,欢迎附中师生、家长、校友和各界人士前往观展。

This exhibition was launched at the Fosun ANNEX space on September 20 and will last for one month. Teachers, students, parents, alumni and audience from all walks of life are welcome to visit the exhibition.
