4月29日,我们迎来了第二届复旦附中国际部小学音乐剧日。本次活动的主题是“引领你的光芒的是你的勇气”。在排练和曲目选择过程中,孩子们面临了不少挑战,但是凭借着勇气、信念和执着的练习,小朋友们终于信心满满地迈向了表演的舞台。每个班级都精心准备了音乐剧的歌唱、表演和舞蹈,曲目涵盖了《狮子王》、《阿拉丁》、《彼得潘》、《玛蒂尔达》、《雾都孤儿》和《音乐之声》等经典作品。让我们一起来欣赏精彩的表演吧!
On April 29th, we welcomed the second Fudan International School ES Musical Day. The theme of this event is "The light that leads you is your courage." Throughout the rehearsal and song selection process, the children faced many challenges. However, with courage, belief, and persistent practice, they finally stepped confidently onto the stage. Each class has meticulously prepared musical performances including singing, acting, and dancing. The repertoire includes classics such as "The Lion King," "Aladdin," "Peter Pan," "Matilda," "Oliver!," and "The Sound of Music." Let's look forward to an exciting performance together!
中午,美术老师Ms. Tamara和她的社团学生正在为表演《狮子王》的学生做面部绘制,为他们的表演做准备。
At noon, the art teacher, Ms. Tamara, and her club students are doing face painting for the students performing in "The Lion King," preparing them for their performance.
在表演开始之前,来自音乐剧工作坊的学生们以角色扮演的方式向观众展示了观众守则,真是非常有趣。
Before the performance started, students from the musical workshop demonstrated audience guidelines to the audience in a role-play format, which was really entertaining.
首先,四年级Otter班的学生们为大家带来了来自《狮子王》的经典歌曲《Circle of Life》。就像孩子们在表演中展示的圆圈一样,生命无限循环。每一个生灵都有自己的角色和使命,就如同大自然中的每一个元素都有其独特的作用和价值一样。这首歌曲通过其深邃的歌词和悠扬的旋律,让我们感受到了生命的奇妙和宇宙的神秘,唤起了对自然界的敬畏和对生命的珍惜。
Firstly, the fourth-grade Otter class students presented the classic song "Circle of Life" from "The Lion King". Just like the circle demonstrated by the children in their performance, life is an endless cycle. Each living being has its own role and mission, much like every element in nature has its unique function and value. Through its profound lyrics and melodious melody, this song evokes a sense of wonder about life and the mysteries of the universe, reminding us to respect nature and cherish life.
二年级Kangaroo班的学生们则选择演绎《狮子王》中经典歌曲《I Just Can't Wait to Be King》。舞台上,孩子们穿着色彩鲜艳的服装,每个人都充满了活力和激情。他们活力四射的歌舞,不禁让大家都跟随着节奏摇摆起来,享受着这个充满活力和欢乐的时刻。
The second-grade Kangaroo class students are excitedly presenting their performance. This time, they have chosen to perform the classic song "I Just Can't Wait to Be King" from "The Lion King." On stage, the children are dressed in vibrant costumes, each one brimming with energy and passion. Watching their lively singing and dancing, it's impossible not to sway along with the rhythm and enjoy this vibrant and joyful moment.
三年级Dolphin班的学生们演绎了阿拉伯风格的经典歌曲《Arabian Night》。在这首歌曲中,孩子们通过歌声和舞蹈来展现阿拉伯文化的魅力和神秘感。他们身着华丽的阿拉伯服装,带领我们进入一个充满奇幻和浪漫的阿拉伯夜晚。
The third-grade Dolphin class students are performing the classic song "Arabian Nights" in Arabian style. Through their singing and dancing, the children are showcasing the charm and mystery of Arabian culture. Dressed in magnificent Arabian costumes, they are leading the us into a fantastical and romantic Arabian night.
阿拉丁的朋友们为了帮助他,准备勇敢地与皇家卫士决斗。五年级的Phoenix班为我们带来了来自《阿拉丁》的经典歌曲《High Adventure》。舞台上,他们面带坚毅的笑容,大声地歌唱舞蹈,展现出了团结和勇气。
A group of Arabians suddenly appears, revealing themselves to be friends of Aladdin. Determined to help their friend, Aladdin, they prepare bravely to duel with the royal guards. The fifth-grade Phoenix class brings us the classic song "High Adventure" from "Aladdin." On stage, they are dressed in magnificent costumes, ready to face the royal guards with courage. With determined smiles on their faces, they sing and dance loudly, showcasing unity and bravery.
快看,哪里来了一群Lost Boys? 原来是一年级的Dragon班。他们为了今天的音乐剧日带来了《Following the leader》。这个节目吸引了周围所有人的目光。他们紧密地跟随着Leaders的步伐,就像一支欢快的游行队伍,带着无尽的活力和朝气。
Look, there's a group of Lost Boys! It turns out, these children are from the first-grade Dragon class. They've brought "Following the Leader" for today's musical day. This performance seems to hold a magical charm, attracting the attention of everyone around. They closely follow the steps of the leaders, resembling a lively parade, brimming with endless energy and enthusiasm.
转眼间,舞台上聚集了一群群小海盗,他们身着可爱迷人的海盗服装,仿佛是从童话中跃然而出。他们兴奋地唱着《Yoho, A Pirate’s Life for Me》,向我们诉说着小海盗们自由自在的生活,声音嘹亮而欢快,充满了对海盗生活的向往和憧憬。
In the blink of an eye, the stage is filled with groups of little pirates, dressed in adorable and charming pirate costumes, as if they've jumped right out of a fairy tale. They sing excitedly “Yo ho, A Pirate’s Life for Me," telling us about the carefree life of pirates. Their voices are loud and cheerful, brimming with longing and admiration for the pirate life.
四年级Penguin班的学生们带来了迪士尼经典电影《彼得·潘》的歌曲《Never Smile at a Crocodile》。他们也扮演了一群勇敢的小海盗,每个人头戴着海盗帽,向我们传达着海盗们的生活经历和智慧:当你们看见鳄鱼时,要迅速逃跑,绝对不能对鳄鱼展现友好。
The fourth-grade Penguin class students are excitedly presenting their performance. They are performing the song "Never Smile at a Crocodile" from the classic Disney movie "Peter Pan." In this thrilling performance, they portray a group of brave little pirates, each wearing a pirate hat, conveying to us the life experiences and wisdom of pirates: when you see a crocodile, you must quickly flee and never show friendliness to the crocodile.
三年级Narwhal班的学生们演绎了来自音乐剧《玛蒂尔达》的经典曲目《Naughty》。在音乐课堂上,孩子们积极参与了编舞的工作,他们绘声绘色的演绎展现了热情。在这首歌曲中,孩子们通过歌声来表达他们面对不公平时的态度和回应。这首歌曲也表达了他们对世界的理解和观点。
The third-grade Narwhal class students are currently performing the classic song "Naughty" from the musical "Matilda." In their music class, the children actively participated in choreographing the dance, vividly showcasing their enthusiasm. Through this song, the children express their attitudes and responses to unfairness through their singing. This song not only shows the children's singing and performing abilities but also communicates their understanding and perspectives on the world.
五年级Unicorn班的学生们为大家呈现了《玛蒂尔达》中Bruce吃巧克力蛋糕的经典场景。通过展现对这个倔强男孩的支持,孩子们也在向世界上的种种不公说“不"。在这个感人至深的表演中,孩子们传达了对Bruce的支持和鼓励,同时也表达了对不公平现象的不满和抗议。他们用心诠释了对友谊和正义的信念,在面对不公时,呼吁大家团结起来,为正义和公平而战。
The fifth-grade Unicorn class students will present the classic scene from "Matilda" where Bruce indulges in chocolate cake. Through showing their support for this determined boy, they are also standing up against various injustices in the world. In this deeply moving performance, the students convey their encouragement for Bruce while also expressing discontent and protest against unfairness. They passionately express their belief in friendship and justice, urging everyone to come together in the face of unfairness and fight for what's right and fair.
突然,舞台上聚集了一群叫卖鲜花和面包的孩子们。原来,这是来自小学合唱团的特殊表演。他们正在表演来自《雾都孤儿》的《Who Will Buy》。从孩子们热情四射的演出中,可以看出他们对音乐的热爱。他们用悦耳的歌声和生动的表演,将观众带入了19世纪伦敦热闹的街头场景,让人仿佛置身于那个时代。
Suddenly, a group of children selling flowers and bread gathered on stage. It turns out it's a special performance from our elementary school choir. They're performing "Who Will Buy" from "Oliver!" The children's enthusiastic performance reflects their love for music. With their melodious voices and lively acting, they transport the audience to the bustling streets of 19th-century London, making them feel as if they're immersed in that vibrant era.
作为收尾,二年级Koala班的学生们演绎了《音乐之声》中的经典曲目《So Long, Farewell》。Ms. Amy和Mr. Tom与孩子们的互动更增添了舞台上的乐趣和活力,让整个表演更加生动有趣。观众们也被孩子们的热情所感染,不禁跟着节奏一起歌唱起来。
As a finale, the second-grade Koala class performed the classic song "So Long, Farewell" from "The Sound of Music." On stage, the children wore neat costumes and passionately delivered their performance. The interaction between Ms. Amy, Mr. Tom, and the children added even more fun and energy to the stage, making the entire performance lively and engaging. The audience couldn't help but be swept up by the children's enthusiasm, joining in with the rhythm and singing along.
Shall we have our first champagne?

在演出结束时,今年音乐剧的音乐总监Ms. Sarah,登台表达了她对所有学生显著成长而发自内心的喜悦,也衷心感谢了所有家长与老师的支持。让我们明年再见!
At the conclusion of the show, Ms. Sarah, the music director of this year's production, took to the stage to express her happiness for the remarkable growth exhibited by all the students compared to last year. Additionally, she extended her gratitude to all the teachers for their support and to the parents as well.
