复旦附中国际部一贯将教师的专业发展视为核心动力,步入2023-2024学年的尾声,国际部精心筹备了一系列具有影响力的教师培训活动,旨在深度总结过去一学年的工作,从中汲取宝贵的经验与智慧,同时勇于开拓创新,启迪教学新思路,为下一学年的教育工作保驾护航。

Fudan International School has always regarded the professional development of teachers as the core driving force. At the end of the 2023-2024 school year, FDIS has carefully prepared a series of influential PD events,


aiming to summarize the experience of the past school year in depth, to draw valuable knowledge and wisdom from it, and at the same time to be bold and innovative, and to inspire new ideas 

for teaching and learning, so as to enhance the educational quality in the next school year.

Elementary School


中外教融合教研

Collaboration of Chinese and Expat Teachers

6月25日上午,小学中外教师共同进行了融合教研,深入总结和进一步反思了本学期各年级各学科的教学情况,共同探讨提高教学质量的方法和策略,策划新学期的教学工作,同时也讨论了课程图谱的框架和优化,老师们积极分享各自的想法、教育的经验和策略,不同思维的碰撞使所有人都受益匪浅。本次教研讨论及分享活动为教师们提供了更富有深度和广度的学习体验,为未来教学工作的发展和优化奠定了坚实的基础。


On the morning of June 25, all Chinese and expat teachers in elementary school conducted an integrated teaching and research together, summarizing and further reflecting on the teaching situation of each grade and subject in this semester, discussing the methods and strategies to improve the quality of teaching and learning, and planning the teaching and learning work of the new semester together, as well as discussing

 the framework and optimization of the curriculum mapping. The teachers actively shared their ideas, educational experiences and strategies, and the thinking benefited all of them. This teaching and research discussion and sharing activity provided teachers with a learning experience of greater depthand breadth, and laid a solid foundation for the development and optimization of future teaching work

Homeroom Teachers’ 

Exchange & Sharing Meeting    

6月26日上午,小学全体教师齐聚一堂,参加由小学部副主任马斯晨老师主持召开的班主任交流分享会。会上,心理老师袁倚乔介绍了新学年即将使用的全新SEL校本课程,三位参与教材编写的老师范宇诗、张曼莉、严靓雯分享了她们的心得与感悟,张曼莉老师还向大家推荐了好用的网站资源。最后,复旦附中副校长、国际部主任李峻老师和国际部副主任全正姬老师对小学班主任们表达了感谢,同时鼓励大家一起积极参与社会情感(SEL)校本课程的建设中来。此次会议为新学年的班级管理工作奠定了坚实基础。


On the morning of June 26th, all teachers of the elementary school gathered together to participate in the Homeroom Teacher Exchange and Sharing Meeting hosted by the Deputy Director of the Elementary School, Mr. Scott Ma. At the meeting, Ms. Ariel Yuan, the school counselor, introduced the new SEL school-based curriculum that will be used in the new school year. Three colleagues who participated in the development of the textbook, Fancy Fan, Mary Zhang, and Virginia Yan, shared their experiences and insights, and Ms.

Mary also recommended useful website resources to all of us. Finally, Ms. Jun Li, Vice Principal of FDFZ and Director of FDIS, and Ms. Caroline Quan, Deputy Director of FDIS, expressed their gratitude to the elementary homeroom teachers and encouraged them to actively participate in the development of the school-based curriculum, Social Emotional Learning (SEL). This meeting laid a solid foundation for homeroom management in the new school year.

小学全体教师ELG工作坊

ELG Workshop for ES Teachers

6月26日上午,ELG学建的Joanne老师为小学部教师举办了一场关于有效沟通与化解冲突的培训。教师们学习了识别学生问题行为的成因,理解行为后果的影响,一起探讨了减少问题行为的策略,最后还进行了个案讨论。培训中,Joanne老师特别强调了区分行为与个人的重要性,即要慎重区别一个学生是行为有问题,还是自身产生了一些问题,因为产生这两者背后的动机截然不同,分析动机有助于教师更有效地进行学生管理和教育。

On the morning of June 26th, Ms. Joanne from ELG School Builders hosted a training session on Effective Communication and Conflict Resolution for ES teachers. Teachers learned to identify the causes of students' problematic behaviors, understand the impact of behavioral consequences, discuss strategies to reduce problematic behaviors and conclude with a case discussion. During the training,

Ms. Joanne particularly emphasized the importance of distinguishing between behavioral and personal issues, i.e., it is important to carefully distinguish whether a student has a behavioral problem or has some problems of his/her own. The motives behind the two are very different, and analyzing the motives will help teachers to manage and educate their students more effectively.

小学全体教师会议

ES All Faculty Meeting

6月27日上午,小学全体教师参加了以“共享关怀,共话成长”为主题的小学全体教师大会。会上,老师们用三个词来描述本学年的工作感受,分享了学生成长与教师成就,也期望学校给予更多支持。会议以随机抽卡分组的形式进行,不同学科年级段的老师们分为小组进行交流分享,拉近了彼此距离,老师们的分享内容引发了大家的共鸣。最后,小学部副主任马斯晨老师以及国际部副主任、小学部主任施佳丽老师对本学年小学工作进行了总结,并勉励老师们为新学年做好准备。


On the morning of June 27th, all teachers from the elementary school attended the All Faculty Meeting with the theme of "Sharing Care, Talking about Growth". During the meeting, teachers used three words to describe their feelings about their work in this school year, sharing their students' growth and teachers' achievements, as well as their expectations for more support from the school. The meeting was conducted in the form of

random card grouping; teachers of different subject grade sections were divided into small groups to exchange and share, which brought them closer to each other, and the content of the teachers' sharing triggered everyone's resonance. At the end of the meeting, Mr. Scott Ma, Deputy Director of the Elementary School, and Ms. Scarlett Shi, Deputy Director of FDIS and Director of the Elementary School, summarized the work of the 

Elementary School in this school year and encouraged the teachers to get ready for the new school year.

The Power of Unlearning: 

Strategies for Transforming Teaching Practices with a Master Teacher’s Mindset

6月24日下午,“问西东学术共创”联合创始人、IB项目顾问、IB培训会驻会代表、培训官、国际教育专家王芳老师应邀分享如何通过“反学习”的力量革新教学技能。王老师提到,所谓“反学习”是指解构并摈弃僵化的知识与思维模式,进而重组知识的过程。王老师引导教师们审视他们的教学理念,强调保持成长型思维对提升自己的教学技能的重要性。她还分享了包括学习技能可视化和有目的的评估在内的多种实用教学策略,助力国际部培养探究型的精英教师队伍。

On the afternoon of June 24th, Ms. Fang Wang, co-founder of Wenxidong Education and senior IB programme consultant, workshop field representative, workshop leader and international education expert, was invited to share how to revolutionize teaching skills through the power of "unlearning". Ms. Wang mentioned that the so-called "unlearning" refers to the process of deconstructing and rejecting rigid knowledge and thinking patterns, and then reorganizing knowledge. 

Ms. Wang guided teachers to examine their teaching philosophy and emphasized the importance of maintaining a growth mindset to improve their teaching skills. She also shared a variety of practical teaching strategies, including visualization of learning skills and purposeful assessment, to help FDIS cultivate an elite team of inquiry-based teachers.

中学全体教师教学总结会议
MSHS End-of-Year Faculty Meeting

6月27日上午,国际部副主任施谛文老师带领全体中学教师对本学年学术重点工作做了系统的梳理。老师们也针对下学年在升学、课程、教育技术、博雅教育方面的四项工作重点展开头脑风暴,为学校进一步提升学术质量建言献策。随后,三场平行展开的教师分享会中,老师们也学习了本学年参与校外培训或论坛的教师代表的所思所得,开拓了视野。


On the morning of June 27th, Ms. Christine Shi, Deputy Director of FDIS, led all Middle and High School teachers to review the academic achievements for the current school year systematically. Teachers also brainstormed on the four priorities for the next academic year in the areas of college readiness, curriculum, educational technology,

and liberal arts education, and offered suggestions for the school to further improve the quality of the academics. Subsequently, in the three parallel teacher-sharing sessions, teachers also learned what their colleagues who participated in off-site training or forums in the current school year thought and gained, and expanded their horizons.

6月27日下午,中学部班主任导师分享总结会在学生事务办公室主管纪晓婷老师的主持下举行。活动创意满满,惊喜多多:开场安排了班主任与导师们的入场签名与猫步秀,大家的想法汇成了”交流鞋“、”登机证“等等。心理老师袁倚乔也带领大家开展了互动游戏,社会情感(SEL)校本课程编写小组成员纪晓婷、李梦瑶、张思宁、景鑫、张墨谦老师也分享了编写心得。现场气氛热烈而鼓舞人心。会议最后,国际部副主任全正姬老师对班主任导师们过去一年的辛苦工作表示感谢,同时希望大家在假期里继续学习,提升班级管理能力,与学生共成长。此次分享会为教育团队注入了新的活力与灵感,大家携手共进,同绘班级管理新画卷。

On the morning of June 25, all Chinese and expat teachers in elementary school conducted an integrated teaching and research together, summarizing and further reflecting on the teaching situation of each grade and subject in this semester, discussing the methods and strategies to improve the quality of teaching and learning, and planning the teaching and learning work of the new semester together, as well as discussingin interactive games; Ms. Alting Ji, Ms. Rachel Li, Ms. Jocelyne Zhang, Ms. Jennifer Jing, and Ms. Ellie Zhang, the members of the Social-Emotional Learning 

(SEL) textbook writing team, also shared their thoughts on the writing process. The atmosphere was warm and inspiring. At the end of the meeting, Ms. Caroline Quan, Deputy Director of FDIS, expressed her gratitude to the homeroom teachers and mentors for their hard work over the past year and hoped that they would continue to learn and improve their homeroom management skills during the summer vacation so that they could grow together with the students. The sharing session 

injected new energy and inspiration into the education team, and everyone will work together to paint a new picture of homeroom management.

解码课程图谱的建构

Decoding Curriculum Mapping Phases

6月24日上午,国际部邀请了资深的国际教育专家、IB区域代表、培训官、认证官贾莉莉女士,为教学管理团队提供了一场关于课程衔接与课程图谱构建的培训。结合国际部的愿景与使命,贾老师指导教师们深入理解了课程的定义,掌握了课程图谱构建的基本原则,并探索了其构建的四个阶段。通过互动学习与实践操作的方式,培训提升了教师们在课程规划方面的能力,并为学校课程发展开辟了新的使命。

On the morning of June 24th, FDIS invited Ms. Lili Jia, a senior international education expert, IB field representative, workshop leader, and authorization visit team leader to provide a workshop on curriculum articulation and curriculum mapping for the management team. Combined with the vision and mission of FDIS, Ms. Jia guided

the teachers to gain a deeper understanding of the definition of curriculum, mastered the basic principles of curriculum mapping, and explored the four stages of its construction. Through interactive learning and hands-on practice, the workshop enhanced teachers' competence in curriculum mapping and opened up a new mission for the school's curriculum development.

提升校园心理健康意识,共筑心理健康防线

Raising Mental Health Awareness 

Building a Mental Health Defense on Campus

6月26日下午,复旦大学心理健康教育中心主任钱捷教授为国际部全体教师带来了以“提升校园心理健康意识,共筑心理健康防线”为主题的心理健康讲座。钱教授从专业的角度帮老师们明确了心理健康的定义,通过讨论21世纪学生的成长压力、心理创伤及心理疾病,强调了有意识的社会情感学习会帮助个人心理健康地成长与发展,希望大家积极培养学生的健康心理。此次讲座对提升校园心理健康意识和如何分辨心理异常具有重要意义。


On the afternoon of June 26th, Professor Qian Jie, the director of the Center of Mental Health Education of Fudan University, gave a mental health lecture on the theme of "Raising Mental Health Awareness on Campus and Building a Mental Health Defense Together" to all the teachers of FDIS. Professor Qian helped the teachers to clarify the definition of mental health from a professional point of view and emphasized

 that conscious social-emotional learning will help the growth and development of personal mental health by discussing the growth pressure, trauma, and mental illness of students in the 21st century, hoping that all of us can actively cultivate healthy mental health in our students. The seminar was of great significance in raising awareness of mental health on campus and how to distinguish psychological abnormalities.
