2023-24 SLP/CAS Annual Presentation
2024年6月7日下午,我校期待已久的服务式学习项目(英文简称SLP)与创造、活动与服务项目(英文简称CAS)汇报终于盛大开幕。全校师生齐聚旦华楼,共同回顾并分享他们这一年里所取得的丰硕成果。参加本次汇报活动的领导有复旦附中副校长、国际部主任李峻老师,国际部副主任全正姬老师,国际部副主任施谛文老师,国际部主任助理孙霞老师,国际部中学学生事务办公室主管纪晓婷老师等。
On the afternoon of June 7, 2024, the long-awaited debriefing of the Service-Learning Program (SLP) and the Creativity, Activity, and Service Program (CAS) finally had its grand opening. The whole school gathered in Danhua Building to review and share the fruitful results they have achieved in this year.
Leaders attending the event included Ms. Jun Li, Vice Principal of High School Affiliated to Fudan University and Director of Fudan International School, Ms. Caroline Quan, Deputy Director of FDIS, Ms. Christine Shi, Deputy Director of FDIS, and Ms. Sophia Sun, Assistant to the Director of FDIS.

SLP作为我校的核心校本课程之一,其理念与我校的使命愿景紧密相连,并深入贯彻了国际文凭组织(IB)所倡导的五大学习方法。自2016年启动以来,SLP已走过八载春秋,它不仅为学生们提供了丰富的实践机会,更在潜移默化中改变着他们的意识,培养了他们的服务精神和社群倡导能力。
As one of our core school-based programs, SLP's philosophy is closely linked to our school's mission and vision and deeply implements the five learning approaches advocated by the International Baccalaureate (IB).
Since its launch in 2016, SLP has gone through eight years, which not only provides students with rich practical opportunities, but also subtly changes their consciousness and develops their service spirit and community advocacy skills.

FDIS Manual for Sixth Graders
6A班的同学们为每位新同学精心制作了一本手册,旨在帮助新同学更好地了解和掌握学校的信息管理系统——schoolpal。手册内容详尽,包括了校宝的各项功能介绍和使用指南,确保新同学能够迅速上手,高效利用这一便捷工具。6A班同学们的严谨态度和无私奉献,为新同学提供了宝贵的学习资源,帮助他们更好地适应学校生活。
The students of Class 6A have prepared a handbook for each new student to help them better understand and master the school's information management system, schoolpal. The handbook contains detailed information on the functions of schoolpal and instructions on
how to use it to ensure that the new students can get used to this convenient tool quickly. The rigorous attitude and selfless dedication of the students in Class 6A provided a valuable learning resource to help the new students better adapt to school life.

Behavioral Guidance for Campus Safety
6B班的同学们敏锐地察觉到了校园安全的重要性。他们深知安全是每位同学健康成长的基石,因此,他们利用课余时间,悉心设计并实施了校园安全行为指导计划。通过制作海报和拍摄视频,他们以严谨而富有创意的方式,向同学们宣传了安全行为的重要性,并提供了实用的安全行为指导。6B班的同学们用实际行动守护了校园的平安,让每一位同学都能在学习、运动、娱乐和生活中更加安心、健康地成长。
The students of Class 6B are keenly aware of the importance of school safety. They know that safety is the cornerstone of every student's healthy growth. Therefore, they took advantage of their spare time to carefully design and implement a campus safe behavior guidance program.
Through making posters and shooting videos, they have promoted the importance of safe behavior and provided practical guidance on safe behavior to students in a rigorous and creative way. 6B students have guarded the safety of the campus with their practical actions so that every student can grow up with more peace of mind and health in learning, sports, recreation and life.

G7A 防身术的普及
Popularization of self-defence
7A班的同学们策划了一场别开生面的防身术普及活动。通过生动有趣的视频,他们向同学们展示了防身术的基本技巧,旨在培养大家保护自己的能力和意识。这些教学视频不仅内容丰富,而且讲解详尽,让同学们在轻松愉快的氛围中掌握了实用的防身技巧。7A班的同学们用实际行动守护了同学们的安全,帮助大家在面对危险环境时能够合理应对,拥有更加自信、幸福的校园生活。
Students of Class 7A planned a unique activity to popularize self-defense. Through vivid and interesting videos, they showed students the basic skills of self-defense, aiming to cultivate their ability and awareness to protect themselves. The videos were not only informative but also detailed,
allowing students to master practical self-defense skills in a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. 7A students took practical actions to guard the safety of their classmates, helping them to cope reasonably with dangerous situations and to have a more self-confident and happier campus life.

G7B 预防校园欺凌者的出现
Preventing Bullies in Schools
7B班的同学们精心编排了一出情节曲折、趣味横生的情景剧,深刻揭示了校园霸凌的危害性。他们以生动的表演,让同学们深刻感受到校园欺凌对受害者心灵的创伤,同时也向大家传递了预防和应对欺凌的重要性。此外,7B班还设计了一个反馈信箱,鼓励同学们积极反馈身边的欺凌现象,共同营造一个和谐友爱的校园环境。
The students of Class 7B choreographed a twisted and interesting sitcom that profoundly revealed the dangers of bullying in schools. With their vivid performances, they made students deeply feel the trauma of school bullying on the victims' minds, and at the same time conveyed the importance of preventing and coping with bullying.
In addition, Class 7B also designed a feedback mailbox to encourage students to give positive feedback on bullying around them and work together to create a harmonious and friendly campus environment.

G8A 失物招领
Lost-and-found
8A班的同学们独具匠心,他们精心设计了失物招领箱,让不慎丢失物品的同学们不再烦恼,重拾失而复得的喜悦。不仅如此,他们还巧妙构思了一个引人入胜的剧本,通过生动的演绎,向全校师生宣传了失物招领箱的存在和重要性。他们的作品收获了全校师生的热烈欢迎,为校园生活增添了一抹亮丽的色彩。
The students of Class 8A were ingenious in designing the Lost and Found Box, so that students who lost their belongings would not have to worry about it and would be happy to find them again. Not only that, but they also created an engaging play that,
through vivid interpretation, publicized the existence and importance of the Lost and Found Box to the whole school. Their work was warmly welcomed by all students and teachers and added a bright color to campus life.

Enriching Campus Activities
8B班的同学们怀着使FDIS校园活动变得更加丰富多彩的热切渴望,展开了积极的行动。他们进行了周密的学生调查,深入了解同学们的需求和喜好,确保每一项活动都能贴近同学们的心意。基于调查结果,8B班精心组织了放学后的活动,包括刺激的卡牌游戏、引人入胜的电影观赏和趣味横生的知识小问答。这些活动不仅丰富了同学们的课余生活,也让他们在轻松愉快的氛围中增进了友谊,展现了8B班对校园文化的贡献与热爱。
The students of Class 8B took action with a passionate desire to make FDIS campus activities more colorful. They conducted a thorough student survey to understand the needs and preferences of their classmates and to ensure that each activity was close to their hearts. Based on the results of the survey, Class 8B carefully organized after-school activities, including exciting card games, engaging movie viewing and fun quizzes.
These activities not only enriched the after-school life of the students, but also allowed them to enhance their friendship in a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere, demonstrating Class 8B's contribution to and love for campus culture.

G9A 校园艺术环境建设
& 图书捐赠活动
Campus Art Environment Building & Book Donation Program
9A班的同学们从多方面展现了出色的组织能力和创新思维。在Ms. Bianca的悉心指导下,他们与IB艺术学生们创作了一系列精美画作,这些作品不仅装点了教室和走廊,更为校园营造了浓厚的艺术氛围。此外,他们还积极向学校图书馆捐献了丰富的书籍,为同学们提供了更广阔的阅读空间。最后,他们设计并张贴了UNICEF(联合国儿童基金会)的宣传海报,传递出对全球儿童福祉的深切关怀与支持。9A班的同学们用实际行动,展现了他们对艺术的热爱、对知识的渴求以及对社会的责任感。
The students of Class 9A demonstrated excellent organizational skills and creative thinking in many ways. Under the guidance of Ms. Bianca, they and the IB art students created a series of beautiful paintings, which not only decorated the classrooms and corridors, but also created a strong artistic atmosphere on campus. In addition, they donated books to the school library to provide a wider reading space for students.
Last but not least, they designed and put up UNICEF posters to convey their deep concern and support for the well-being of children around the world. 9A students demonstrated their love for art, thirst for knowledge and sense of responsibility to the society through their practical actions.

G9B 校园电台
Campus Radio Station
9B班的同学们匠心独运,通过校园电台为学生们带来了心灵的慰藉。他们精心挑选的音乐在耳边轻轻流淌,为忙碌的校园生活注入了一抹宁静与快乐。他们的SLP项目旨在帮助同学们调节情绪,释放压力,让每一天都充满阳光。为了扩大电台的影响力,9B班还精心制作了海报,并通过社交媒体进行广泛宣传,让更多的同学能够享受到这份温暖与关怀。
The students of Class 9B have crafted a unique way to bring solace to the soul of the students through the campus radio station. Their carefully selected music flows gently in their ears, injecting a touch of serenity and happiness into the busy campus life.
Their SLP program aims to help students regulate their emotions, release stress and make every day full of sunshine. In order to expand the impact of the radio station, Class 9B also crafted posters and widely publicized the program through social media so that more students could enjoy the warmth and care.

10A班的同学们以其细致入微的观察和卓越的行动能力,为图书馆带来了显著而实用的改变。他们精心建立了书籍分类系统,仔细整理了校园图书,使图书馆的藏书有序可循。这一举措不仅极大地方便了同学们查找资料和挑选书籍,还使图书馆的空间显得更加宽敞整洁,整体环境更加美观宜人。10A班的同学们用实际行动,为校园文化的繁荣贡献了自己的力量。
With their meticulous observation and exceptional ability to take action, the students of Class 10A have brought about significant and practical changes in the library. They have created an elaborate book classification system and carefully organized the campus books to keep the library collection in order.
This not only facilitates students to find information and select books, but also makes the library space more spacious and tidy, and the overall environment more beautiful and pleasant. 10A students have contributed to the prosperity of the campus culture with their practical actions.

G10B 关爱动物宣传
Animal Care Campaign
10B班的同学们怀着对自然的爱心,对濒危动物的保护问题进行了深入调研。他们设计了一系列精美动人而又寓教于乐的海报,在学校广泛宣传,旨在唤起大家对濒危动物的关注,并传递保护它们的重要性。此外,他们还在小红书上积极宣传,并认真整理收到的反馈意见,以进一步完善保护策略。10B班的同学们身体力行,向我们展示了他们对生命的爱护与尊重。
With a love for nature, students of class 10B conducted an in-depth research on the protection of endangered animals. They designed a series of beautifully moving and entertaining posters, which were widely publicized in the school, aiming to arouse people's attention to endangered animals and convey the importance of protecting them.
In addition, they also actively promoted the campaign on The Little Red Book and carefully collated the feedback they received to further improve their conservation strategies. 10B students showed us their love and respect for life by putting their actions into practice.

福建前洋文化探索之旅
Cultural Exploration in Qianyang Fujian
第一组同学们踏上了前往福建省前洋村的CAS之旅。他们通过售卖自己的绘画作品筹集资金,用这份来自心灵的礼物为前洋村注入活力。他们远足山林,呼吸着清新的空气,练习厨艺,亲手烹制地道的乡村美食。在这里,他们了解了农作物的生长,体验了米酒的制作工艺,感受了乡村生活的淳朴与美好。
The first group of students embarked on a CAS trip to Qianyang Village in Fujian Province. They raised funds by selling their paintings and used this gift from the heart to revitalize the village. They hiked in the mountains and forests, breathed in the fresh air,
and practiced their cooking skills to make authentic village food. Here, they learned about the growth of crops, experienced the process of making rice wine, and felt the simplicity and beauty of village life.

In the natural landscape, the students waved their brushes and ink, sketching and painting, depicting with their brushes the serenity and harmony of rural life, and showing the local customs of Qianyang Village.
The trip not only gave them a deeper understanding of village life and traditional culture, but also planted the seeds of care and responsibility in their hearts.

走近青岛同行之家
A Visit to “Home of Tongxing” in Qingdao
第二组的学子们,则满怀爱心与期待,走近青岛同行之家,开启了针对特殊儿童群体的帮扶行动。他们深知,特殊儿童教育需要更多的耐心与关怀,因此他们开展了多样化的课堂和辅导。
The second group of students, full of love and expectation, approached the “Home of Tongxing” and started a helping action for the special children group.
They knew that the education of children with special needs requires more patience and care, so they carried out diversified classes and counseling.

在教室里,他们耐心传授拼音和汉字,帮助特殊儿童流畅地读故事;他们鼓励孩子们通过绘画表达内心情感,让色彩成为沟通的桥梁。同时,他们还教会了孩子们10以内的加减法,为他们打开数学的大门。
In the classroom, they patiently taught the special children pinyin and Chinese characters to help them read stories fluently; they encouraged the children to express their inner feelings through painting,
so that color could be a bridge of communication. At the same time, they taught the children addition and subtraction within 10, opening the door to math for them.

课外,他们带领特殊儿童进行体育锻炼,保护他们的安全,让他们在运动中感受快乐。此外,他们还修缮并装饰了特殊儿童的校园,为他们营造了一个更加温馨、多彩的学习环境。棋艺社团、音乐沙龙、手工DIY等丰富多彩的课外活动,更是让孩子们的笑声此起彼伏。
Outside the classroom, they lead the special children in physical exercise, protect their safety and let them feel happy in exercise. In addition, they have repaired and decorated the special children's campus,
creating a more warm and colorful learning environment for them. Colorful extracurricular activities, such as chess club, music salon, and DIY handcrafts, have made the children's laughter rise and fall.

不知不觉间,年度汇报活动已经接近尾声,复旦附中国际部副主任全正姬老师为大家做了关于“看见与被看见”的主题总结:“服务式学习是‘看见’与‘被看见’的过程。它让我们看见知识的力量,团队合作的魔力与同学们内心的变化,那份日益增长的爱心和服务意识,正在悄悄提升着我们的幸福指数。而在这个过程中,我们也被‘看见’。我们的努力、成长与付出,都被身边人看在眼里,记在心里。这种积累与沉淀,让我们的成长不再是简单的数字相加,而是汇聚成无限可能的未来。”
Before we knew it, the SLP/CAS report of this school year was coming to an end, and Ms.Caroline Quan, deputy director of FDIS summarized the theme of "Seeing and Being Seen": "Service learning is the process of "seeing" and "being seen". It allows us to see the power of knowledge, the magic of teamwork, the changes in the hearts of our students, and the growing sense of love and service that is quietly raising our happiness index.
And in this process, we are also "seen". Our efforts, growth and dedication are seen and remembered by those around us. This accumulation and precipitation, so that our growth is no longer a simple addition of numbers, but a convergence of unlimited possibilities for the future."

In the SLP&CAS Annual Report, we witnessed the journey of FDIS students who started from small things on campus, deepened their learning, improved themselves and contributed to the society through practical activities.
Looking ahead, we hope that students will continue to explore this kind of program in depth, and explore their potentials and talents in more diversified practical activities.
