团结一心，放眼世界 | FDIS United, Globally Ignited! 2024学年秋季运动会

10月18日，阳光明媚，一扫多日阴雨，复旦附中国际部的学生们迎来了一年一度的校运动会，与复旦附中及附中各分校的近4000名师生齐聚一堂，首次在复旦大学的操场举行了开幕式。在国歌、校歌声中，国旗与校旗、会旗冉冉升起，吴坚校长鼓励同学们在比赛中发扬体育精神，享受运动带来的快乐。

On October 18th, the sunshine was bright and clear, sweeping away days of rain. Students from FDIS welcomed the annual school sports day, gathering with nearly 4000 teachers and students from High School Affiliated to Fudan University (FDFZ) and its various branches. The 

opening ceremony was held for the first time on the sports field of Fudan University. With the national anthem and school anthem, the national flag, school flag and sports day flag were rising slowly. Principal Wu Jian encouraged the students to promote the sportsmanship spirit and enjoy the happiness brought by sports during the competition.

开幕式上，最引人注目的莫过于各分校的方阵表演。其中，迎面走入视野的国际部方阵尤为出彩。自2002年成立以来，国际部已培养了众多具有国际视野和全球胜任力的优秀学子。如今，近500名来自全球20多个国家和地区的师生们组成了一个小小联合国，身着代表各自学院的服装，以学院形式步入会场。伴随着欢快的音乐，他们挥舞着手中各国国旗。国际部的活力与朝气、中西融合的精神以及走向世界的特色在这一刻得到了淋漓尽致的展现。紧接着，12年级的Sophia同学作为国际部代表进行了运动员宣誓，她迈着坚定的步伐走上前台，在所有师生的注视下，庄严地举起右手，用铿锵有力的声音宣读运动员誓词。

At the opening ceremony, the most eye-catching performance was undoubtedly the squad performances of each branch school. Among them, the squad of FDIS that came into view was particularly outstanding. Since its establishment in 2002, FDIS has cultivated numerous outstanding students with international perspectives and global competence. Nowadays, nearly 500 teachers and students from more than 20 countries and regions around the world have formed a small “United Nations”, dressed in costumes representing their respective 

houses, and entered the venue in the form of house teams. Accompanied by cheerful music, they waved the flags of various countries in their hands. The vitality of FDIS, the spirit of integrating Chinese and Western elements, and the global awareness were vividly demonstrated at this moment. Afterwards, Sophia, a 12th grade student, took the athlete’s oath as the representative of FDIS. She walked to the front stage with firm steps. Under the gaze of all teachers and students, she solemnly raised her right hand and read the athlete's oath with a sonorous and powerful voice.

开幕式后，国际部十至十二年级的学生与其他分校的学子们在包括跳高、跳远、接力赛、拔河、实心球、长绳、800米、1500米等多个田径项目上进行激烈角逐。尽管他们是第一次参加如此规模的大型比赛，却展现出了非凡的勇气和决心。面对广阔的赛场和众多的观众，他们毫不怯场，以积极的态度勇于探索体育竞技领域。比赛现场，运动员们奋力拼搏，挑战自我；观众席上，加油声欢呼声此起彼伏，为这些勇敢探索、不懈努力的运动员们鼓劲。

After the opening ceremony, students from grades 10 to 12 of FDIS competed fiercely with students from other branch schools in various track and field events, including high jump, long jump, relay race, tug of war, solid ball, long rope, 800 meters, 1500 meters, etc.  Although it was their first time participating in such a large-scale competition, they showed 

extraordinary courage and determination. Facing the vast arena and numerous spectators, they have no fear of the stage and bravely explore the field of sports competition with a positive attitude. At the competition venue, athletes strive hard and challenge themselves; In the audience, cheers echoed one after another, cheering for these brave and hardworking athletes.

与此同时，国际部一至九年级及附中八年级的学生们来到附中操场，举行国际部运动会开幕式。本次运动会精心设计了多项体育活动，旨在培养学生的探索精神与团队协作能力。值得一提的是，运动会还打破了以往小学、中学分别进行的模式，第一次将各学段所有学生按照四个学院进行分组，新朋旧友相聚一堂，共同为自己所在的学院努力。中学部带来的舞蹈表演活力四射，点燃了全场师生的热情与期待。

At the same time, students from grades 1 to 9 of FDIS and grade 8 of FDFZ came to the sports field of FDFZ to join the opening ceremony of the FDIS Sports Day. Various sports activities were designed for this event, aiming to cultivate students' spirit of exploration and teamwork. It is worth mentioning that the sports day also got out of the previous model of separating 

elementary and secondary schools. For the first time, all students in each grade were grouped into four houses, bringing together new and old friends to work together for their respective houses. The dance performance brought by the secondary school students was full of vitality, igniting the enthusiasm and expectations of all teachers and students.

破冰活动中，学生们手拉手围成一个大圈，共同完成传递呼啦圈的挑战，不仅打破了彼此间的陌生感，更激发了团队协作的默契。拔河比赛中，双方队员咬紧牙关，紧握长绳，脚下的土地仿佛都在颤抖，一旁的观众呐喊助威。老师们的参与将比赛推向了白热化。长绳比赛则考验着学生们的节奏感和配合度，每一次成功的跳跃都伴随着阵阵欢呼。

In the ice breaking activity, students held hands and formed a big circle to complete the challenge of passing the hula hoop together. This not only dissolved the sense of unfamiliarity between each other, but also stimulated the tacit cooperation of the team. In the tug of war competition, both team members clenched their teeth and held onto the long rope tightly. 

The ground beneath their feet seemed to be trembling, and the audience beside them cheered. The participation of the teachers pushed the competition to a fever pitch. The long rope competition tested the students' sense of rhythm and coordination. Every successful jump was accompanied by bursts of cheers.

中学部的撕名牌环节中，学生们在追逐与躲闪间斗智斗勇，欢笑声、尖叫声交织在一起，构成了一幅幅生动有趣的画面。同一时间，小学生们的滑板车比赛也在紧张激烈地进行，体育与智慧巧妙结合，不仅锻炼了身体，更在探索中增进了友谊，培养了团队合作的能力。

In the Capture Flag session of the secondary school, students engaged in a battle of wits and courage between chasing and dodging. With laughter and screams intertwined, forming vivid and interesting scenes. At the same time, elementary school students' Dolly Game were also 

fiercely underway, cleverly combining sports and intelligence. Not only did it exercise the body, but it also enhanced friendship and cultivated teamwork skills through exploration.

不能错过的还有接力跑项目，它将所有学生的竞技热情推向了顶点。中学组的4*100米接力赛上，棒影交错，展现了速度与激情的碰撞。随着发令枪响，运动员们如离弦之箭般冲出起跑线，他们矫健的身姿、坚定的眼神，无不彰显着对胜利的渴望和对团队的忠诚。全员参与的穿梭接力跑中，选手们迅速起跑，将接力棒传递给下一个等待的队友。接力棒在同学们手中不断传递，每一次交接都伴随着欢声笑语和鼓励的话语。同学们在比赛中相互支持、相互鼓励，共同为了团队的胜利而努力奋斗。他们不仅比拼速度，更比拼着团队协作和默契配合的能力。一旁的师生们高喊着加油口号，为运动员们鼓劲，赛道仿佛变成了一片沸腾的海洋。

Another event that cannot be missed is the Face-to-face Relay Race, which has pushed all students' competitive enthusiasm to its peak. In the 4 * 100m relay race of the secondary school, the interplay of sticks and shadows showcased the collision of speed and passion. As the starting gun rang, the athletes rushed out of the starting line like arrows from the bowstring. Their agile posture and firm gaze all demonstrated their desire for victory and loyalty to the team. In the shuttle relay race involving all participants, the contestants quickly started and passed the baton to the next waiting teammate. The relay baton is constantly passed in the hands of 

the students, and every handover is accompanied by laughter and encouraging words. Classmates supported and encouraged each other in the competition, working together towards the victory of the team. They not only competed for speed, but also for their ability to collaborate and cooperate seamlessly as a team. The teachers and students on the side shouted slogans of encouragement for the athletes, and the track seemed to have turned into a boiling ocean.

一天的比赛圆满落幕，最令人激动的当然还得是颁奖环节。统计完四个学院的分数后，Ruby学院获得第四名，Emerald学院获得第三名，Sapphire学院获得第二名，今年的冠军属于Amber学院! 随后的颁奖典礼上，学生们手拿奖牌合影留念，脸上洋溢着自豪与喜悦。

The day's competition came to a successful conclusion, and of course, the most exciting part was the award ceremony. The scores of the four house teams were calculated - Ruby house ranked fourth; Emerald house ranked third; Sapphire house ranked second; and this year's 

champion belongs to Amber house! At the subsequent award ceremony, students held medals and took group photos, with pride and joy on their faces.

此次运动会不仅是一场体育竞技的盛宴，更是一场探索与创新、团结与拼搏的展示。学生们在活动中学会了合作、创新与坚持。让我们共同期待，下一次运动会中，他们能展现出更加耀眼的风采！
