春光无限好，正是求知时。
Spring is the perfect time to inquire.
4月18日早晨，复旦附中国际部的师生们踏上了前往崇明长兴岛郊野公园的旅程，在美好的自然中学习与探索，在愉悦的实践中感悟旧识与新知。
Early in the morning of 18th April, FDIS teachers and students embarked on a journey to Changxing Island Country Park in Chongming, learning and exploring the beautiful nature, and appreciating old and new knowledge in the pleasant practice.

壹
小学部 ES
小学部的户外拓展活动由亲近动物、种植蔬菜、梅园赏景、乐园探险四个部分组成。学生们沉浸于自然，以郊野为师，以动植物为友，享受学习与游玩的乐趣。
ES field trip consisted of four parts: getting close to animals, planting vegetables, enjoying the scenery in the Plum Blossom Garden, and exploring the amusement park. Students immersed themselves in nature, taking the countryside as their teacher and the flora and fauna as their friends, enjoying the fun of learning and playing.
第一站 萌宠庄园
Pet Area
进入郊野公园后的第一站，便是深受学生们喜爱的萌宠庄园。学生们争先恐后地喂养小动物，并与它们互动，感受人与动物的和谐关系，更加理解与亲近自然。
The first stop after entering the country park was the Pet Area, which was very popular among the students. Students were eager to feed the animals and interact with them, feeling the harmonious relationship between humans and animals, and understanding and getting closer to nature.
第二站 菜园种植
Growing Vegetables
在菜园种植这一站，学生们体验了动手劳作的乐趣。脚踏土地，手握菜苗，学生们通过观察、学习与实践，进一步了解了植物，同时获得了亲手实践的成就感。
In the vegetable garden, students experienced the joy of hands-on labor. With their feet on the ground and seedlings in their hands, the students learned more about plants through observation, study, and practice, and at the same time gained a sense of achievement through hands-on work.
第三站 梅园
Plum blossom garden
旅程的下一站，师生们放松身心，在梅园中欣赏美景并享用午餐。梅花树下，学生们不禁吟诵起在中文课上学习过的诗句，纸上得来终觉浅，身处自然，更能体察其无穷魅力。
In the next stop of the tour, teachers and students relaxed, enjoyed the beauty of the plum blossom garden, and had lunch. Under the blossoming plum trees, students could not help but recite the poems they had learned in Chinese lessons, which were more appealing than on paper.
第四站 探险乐园
哈哈乐园
Amusement Park
美妙的户外午餐时刻结束后，学生们来到了期待已久的探险乐园与哈哈乐园。玩耍是学习的方式，是解决问题和创新的方式，在与同伴的竞争、合作、游戏中，学生们不断获得体魄与心智的成长。
After the wonderful outdoor lunchtime moments, the students went to the long-awaited Amusement Park. Playing is a way to learn, to solve problems and to innovate. In competing, cooperating, and playing with their peers, students continue to grow physically and mentally.

中学部 MS&HS
中学部的活动包括乘坐竹筏，体验国防三项，参观长兴岛博物馆，尝试非遗文化扎染四个项目。活动伊始，全体师生以班级为单位，齐聚长兴岛郊野公园门口，在镜头前留下欢聚的喜悦与温馨的画面。
The activities of the Middle and High School included four programs: a bamboo raft ride, the National Defense Triathlon, visiting Changxing Island Museum, and trying intangible cultural
heritage–Tie-dyeing. At the beginning of the activity, all the teachers and students gathered at the entrance of Changxing Island Country Park by class, leaving the joy of gathering warm pictures in front of the camera.

第一站 乘坐竹筏
Bamboo raft ride
微风轻拂，竹叶摇曳，乘坐竹筏的同学们仿佛置身于一幅流动的水墨画中。他们随着竹筏的轻轻摇摆，静静地欣赏着春光美景，享受着难得的轻松与惬意。
With the gentle breeze and swaying bamboo leaves, the students on the bamboo raft seemed to be in a flowing ink painting. With the gentle swaying of the raft, they quietly appreciated the beauty of the spring scenery and enjoyed the rare relaxation and coziness.
第二站 国防三项
Defense Triathlon
一场别开生面的国防三项活动点燃了学生们的热情。他们手持激光枪，瞄准目标，体验着射击的刺激与快感；他们拉弓射箭，感受着箭矢破空的迅疾与力量；他们扔出手榴弹，展现了英勇无畏的精神风貌。这些活动不仅锻炼了学生们的体魄，更培养了他们的国防意识和团队协作精神。
A unique national defense triathlon activity ignited the enthusiasm of the students. They held laser guns and aimed at the target, experiencing the excitement and thrill of shooting; they drew bows and shot arrows, feeling the swiftness and power of arrows breaking through the air; they threw grenades, showing the spirit of bravery and fearlessness. These activities not only exercised the students' physique but also cultivated their sense of national defense and teamwork spirit.

第三站：参观长兴岛博物馆
Visiting Changxing
Island Museum
同学们认真品读着馆内的珍贵文物与历史资料，感受到了长兴岛的辉煌与沧桑。大家尤其对当地的特产橘子的发展产生了浓厚的兴趣，他们为我国是世界上最早（公元前2200年）种植橘子的国家而感到自豪。
Students carefully read the precious relics and historical data in the museum and felt the splendor and vicissitudes of Changxing Island. They were especially interested in the development of the local specialty, tangerines, and were proud of the fact that China was the first country in the world to plant tangerines (2200 BC).
午餐时间，同学们在郊野公园内的玫瑰园举行了野餐。大家围坐在一起，分享美食，玩着游戏，享受着大自然的馈赠。前一天备考的疲惫此刻已化为乌有，取而代之的是轻松愉快，岁月静好。
At lunchtime, the students held a picnic at the Rose Garden in the country park. Everyone sat around, shared the food, played games, and enjoyed the gift of nature. The exhaustion from the previous day's exams had now melted away, replaced by relaxation and happiness.
第四站 体验非遗文化扎染
Intangible cultural
heritage Tie-dyeing
同学们在专业老师的指导下，亲手制作扎染作品。他们运用灵巧的双手，将白色布料巧妙地捆绑在一起，然后浸入染料中。随着时间的推移，一幅幅图案独特的扎染作品逐渐呈现在大家面前。我们有理由相信每个人都是天生的艺术家！
Under the guidance of professional masters, students made tie-dye works with their own hands. They used their dexterous hands to skillfully bind white fabrics together and then
dipped them into the dye. As time went by, a piece of tie-dye work with a unique pattern was gradually presented in front of everyone. We have reason to believe that everyone is a born artist!

返程的大巴启动了，而学生们仍意犹未尽地讨论着今天的收获。这场生动的户外“课堂”，让全体师生再一次深刻体会到——学习与探索不只在书本，旷野中蕴藏着无尽的智慧，只要我们步履不停，定能在大自然的滋养中“开卷有益”，寻求新的知识与希望。
The bus started to return, and the students were still discussing today's harvest. This vivid outdoor "classroom" that the teachers and students once again deeply appreciate – that learning and exploration are not only in the books,
the wilderness contains endless wisdom, and as long as we keep moving, we will be able to "open the book"!
