它起源于上古时期，在海南岛上代代传承，从先秦的“吉贝布”，到唐宋被奉为朝廷贡品，再到明清时工艺登峰造极，每个阶段都镌刻着独特的历史印记。
It originated in ancient times and has been passed down from generation to generation on Hainan Island. From the "Jibei cloth" in the pre-Qin Dynasty to the imperial tribute in the Tang and Song Dynasties to the peak of craftsmanship in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, each stage is engraved with unique historical marks.

The production of Li brocade
纺线时，黎族妇女运用精巧工具，将棉花纺成均匀的线缕；染色则取自大自然，以植物、矿物为染料，为丝线披上绚丽色彩。
When spinning, Li women use delicate tools to spin cotton into even threads; Dyeing is taken from nature, with plants and minerals as dyes, covering the silk with brilliant colors.
织锦环节更是精妙绝伦，黎族妇女仅凭简单织机，通过娴熟技艺，在木架上穿梭引线，编织出千变万化的图案。绣制时，她们以针为笔、以线为墨，在织物上勾勒出精美绝伦的花纹。
The brocaded links are even more exquisite. Li women weave ever-changing patterns on wooden frames with their simple weaving machines and skilled hands. When embroidering, they use a needle as a pen and thread as ink to outline exquisite patterns on the fabric.

黎锦图案丰富多样，有人形纹、动物纹、植物纹、几何纹等，每种图案都蕴含着特定寓意。人形纹往往与祖先崇拜、神话传说相关，传递着对先辈的敬仰与追思
Li brocade pattern is rich and varied, there are humanoid patterns, animal patterns, plant patterns, geometric patterns, and so on, and each pattern contains a specific meaning. Humanoid patterns are often related to ancestor worship, myths and legends, passing on the respect and remembrance of ancestors.
动物纹如龙、凤、牛、鹿等，象征着力量、吉祥与美好生活的向往；植物纹展现了黎族对自然的观察与热爱；几何纹则以简洁线条组合，呈现出独特的形式美感
Animal patterns such as dragon, phoenix, cow, deer, etc., symbolize strength, luck and yearning for a better life; Plant pattern shows Li people's observation and love for nature; Geometric patterns are combined with simple lines, showing a unique form of beauty.
这些图案不仅是装饰，更是黎族历史、文化、信仰的生动记录，宛如一部部无声的史书。
These patterns are not only decoration but also a vivid record of the history, culture and beliefs of the Li people, just like a silent history book.
