Lacquer line carving is a relic of ancient Buddha sculpture art. It was inspired by the line carving in Song and Yuan dynasties, especially the line carving in clay and clay. In the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, craftsmen in southern Fujian began to apply lacquer wire carving techniques to the decoration of temples and statues of gods and Buddhas.
