2024年10月，CBS学生会换届选举和招新工作顺利开展，为新学期注入了新的青春活力，也是新学年好的开始。
The general election and recruiting of CBS Student Union was successfully held on October 2024, which injected new youthful energy into the new semester and was a good start for the new academic year.
本届学生会换届选举共有10名候选人参与竞选，涵盖了主席、副主席、组织部部长、宣传部部长、财务部部长、后勤部部长等多个重要职位。虽然候选人来自不同年级，CBS学子在竞选演讲中展现出独特的才华和出色的思想。竞选过程中，大家为去年进行总结，也对今年进行了新的展望，提出了自己的优势，特别是在如何推动学生会工作创新、丰富校园文化生活、促进学生权益保障等方面，提出了属于自己的见解和具体的措施和方案。
A total of 10 candidates ran for this year's student union election, covering a number of important positions such as President, Vice President, Organization Department, Publicity Department, Finance Department and Logistics Department. Although the candidates came from different grades, CBS students showed unique talents and excellent ideas in their campaign speeches. During the campaigning process, they summarized for last year and also made a new outlook for this year, they presented their strengths, especially in how to promote the innovation of the work of the student union, enrich the cultural life of the campus, and promote the protection of students' rights and interests, etc., and put forward the insights and specific measures and programs belonging to themselves.在演讲环节结束后，通过投票，新一届学生会的当选名单终于尘埃落定。以下是当选名单：

The student council election not only demonstrated the open and tolerant thinking of the students, but also injected impetus for the construction of the school's campus culture. 随后，各部门都投入了繁忙的面试工作，学生会招新活动顺利开展。不同于以往，本次面试要求至少3个人面试一位学生，以保证公平性。通过严格的选拔和激烈的讨论，新一届学生会人选终于落定。今年，学生会人数再创新高，意味着更多的同学们有了展示自己能力的机会！
Subsequently, all departments devote themselves in the hectic interview work, and the student union recruitment activity was carried out smoothly. Different from the past, this year, the interview required at least three students to interview one applicant in order to ensure fairness. Through the strict selection and the intense discussion, the selection of the new student Union was finally decided. This year, the number of students in the Student Union reached a new high, which means that more and more students could have chance to show their abilities!

I have been a member of the Student Union Organization Department for a year till now, and I have the following suggestions for the future planning of the organization department: Firstly, strengthen the internal construction of the department and hold regular meetings.
