Dear teachers and beloved classmates,
大家好，我们是4A班，今天我们要讨论的是我们在评估中应该如何表现。
Hello everybody, we're G4A, and today we are talking about how we are going to behave in an assessment.
你有没有想过为什么诚信的评估很重要？评估有助于测试我们整个学期学到了什么，对了解我们的成长情况非常重要。现在让我们看看Logan， Jackson和Kenneth，他们将演示良好的和不良的评估实践。
Have you ever thought about why good assessment practices are important? Assessments help to test what we’ve learned throughout the semester and are really important to see how well we’re growing. Let’s take a look at Logan, Jackson and Kenneth who will demonstrate good and bad assessment practices.

There are many bad assessment practices. Sometimes they even happen here in PYP. Here are a few example. Let’s see if you recognize them…

Trying to sneak a look at the answers of another student next to you. If you're copying someone else, how can you feel proud of your succes
在评估过程中制造噪音。窃窃私语或者到处走动！
Making noise during the assessment. Whispering Talking Or moving around too much!
当我们制造噪音时，它会分散别人的注意力，影响他们的状态。这也表明你还没有学会如何保持耐心。
When we make noise, its distracting others and hurts their success. It also shows that you havnt learned how to be patient.

What are good assessment practices, and why do they help us?
然而，我们还有些良好的示范，是我们PYP学生的榜样，我们一起来看一下：
Example: “However, there are many good assessment practices. And we see these all the time in PYP! Lets always do these:
当你完成后，你应该反复检查，一次、两次甚至多次。
When you finish, you should double check. Then you should triple check. Then you should check again!
许多小错误会造成大问题。但是你可以通过两次，三次和四次检查看到这些小错误！
Many small mistakes can make a big problem. But you see those little errors by double, triple and quadruple checking it!
当你完成时，要有耐心，放松，保持沉默。
When you finish, be patient, relaxed, and silent.
你可以好好反思一下，在下一次评估之前，给你的手和大脑一个放松的机会。
You can reflect on a job well done and give your hands and brains a chance to relax before the next assessment.
因此，我们向大家呼吁：不应该作弊，或者在评估时分散别人的注意力。我们应该有条不紊地答题，检查是否有错误，并保持耐心！你觉得我们下次可以做到吗，PYP!？

大家好！今天我在国旗下演讲的题目是“诚信在心，方能行远”。在演讲前，我们想请大家看一个视频。
Good morning! Today, the theme of our speech under the national flag is "Integrity in Mind, Going Far in Life."Before the speech, we would like to play a video.
深秋的寒风带来一丝凉意，金黄的落叶在风中翩翩起舞，我们也迎来了一个检验学习成果的重要时刻——期中考试。考试不仅是知识掌握的检测，更是对我们诚信品质的考验。
The chill of late autumn brings a touch of coolness, and the golden leaves dance in the wind. We have also arrived at an important moment to test our learning achievements—the midterm exam. The exam is not only a test of knowledge mastery but also a test of our integrity.
在这里，我们想和大家进行一个小小的互动，有几个关于诚信考试的有奖问答题目。答对的同学会获得小礼品。
Here, we would like to begin with a quiz where we will ask some questions related to the integrity examination. Students who answer correctly will receive a small gift.
诚信，是中华民族的传统美德。古往今来，许多仁人志士以诚信立身，成就了一番伟业。比如曾子杀猪，为的是教导孩子“言而有信”；商鞅立木取信，赢得百姓支持，顺利推行变法。这些故事告诉我们，诚信是做人之本，是成就事业的基石。
Integrity is a traditional virtue of the Chinese nation. Throughout history, many great men and women have upheld integrity and achieved great accomplishments. For example, Zengzi slaughtered a pig to teach his child the importance of "keeping one's word." Shang Yang erected a wooden pillar and promised to reward anyone who could move it to a designated spot with a piece of gold. He successfully won the trust of the people and implemented his reform policies. These stories illustrate that integrity is the bedrock of personal character and the cornerstone of success.
然而，近年来的翟天临学术造假事件让我们看到，违背诚信的行为终将付出代价。翟天临因博士论文涉嫌抄袭被曝光，最终学位被撤，名誉扫地。这个事件再次提醒我们：诚信是不可触碰的底线，任何造假和欺瞒终将被揭露。
However, the recent academic fraud case involving Zhai Tianlin has demonstrated that violating integrity will ultimately have consequences. Zhai Tianlin's doctoral dissertation was suspected of plagiarism and subsequently exposed. In the end, his degree was revoked, and his reputation was tarnished. This incident once again reminds us that integrity is an inviolable bottom line, and any cheating or deception will eventually be brought to light.
在校园中，诚信考试同样至关重要。考试不仅是对学习成果的检验，也是对品德的考量。作弊或许能带来一时的高分，但会让我们失去宝贵的诚信品质，失去老师和同学的信任，也会让我们在未来的人生中付出沉重的代价。
Integrity in exams is equally important on campus.Cheating may bring a temporary high score, but it will cost us our precious integrity and the trust of our teachers and classmates.It will also cost us a heavy price in our future life.
诚信考试，需要我们从自身做起。在考前，认真复习、做好准备，以扎实的知识和良好的心态迎接考试。在考场上，严格遵守考试纪律，自觉抵制作弊行为，坦然接受每一份成绩，无论好坏，都是我们真实水平的体现。
Integrity examination requires us to start from ourselves. Before the exam, we should study diligently and prepare thoroughly, so that we can face the exam with solid knowledge and a positive state of mind. During the exam, we should strictly adhere to the examination regulations and consciously resist the temptation to cheat. We should accept every score, whether good or bad, as a reflection of our true abilities.
同时，学校也应加强考试管理，营造公平公正的考试环境，做到对作弊“零容忍”。同学之间也要互相提醒，共同维护考试的公正性和严肃性。
Meanwhile, schools should also strengthen their examination management to create a fair and just examination environment, with zero tolerance for cheating. Students should also remind each other to jointly maintain the fairness and solemnity of exams.
同学们，让我们以诚信为本，展现真实自我。在即将到来的考试中，用真实的成绩为自己的努力交上一份诚实的答卷。
Students, let us uphold integrity as our guiding principle and reveal our true selves. In the upcoming exams, let us submit answer sheets that reflect our real scores as a testament to our efforts.
