10月17日,常州市初中英语教研活动在常州外国语附属双语学校举行,此次研究主题是新教材的单元整体教学。李亚男名师工作室的两位教师,常州外国语学校的陆源老师和常州市正衡中学的黄琛老师,分别执教了译林版初中英语新教材第四单元School days Welcome to the Unit 和 Integration两节研究课。两位老师授课风格各具特色,课堂互动活跃,充分展现了新课标、教材的教学理念。课程结束后,李亚男名师工作室的薛东芳和颜淑情老师依照课标进行了深入的评课。
On October 17th, an English Teaching Research activity took place at Changwai Bilingual School, with the theme centered the holistic teaching of new textbooks. Two teachers from Ms. Nancy Lee's Workshop, Ms. Lu Yuan from Changzhou Foreign Language School and Ms. Huang Chen from Changzhou Zhengheng Middle School, taught two research lessons on Unit 4 School Days. Both teachers had distinctive teaching styles and active interactions, fully demonstrating the teaching philosophy of the new curriculum standards and textbooks. After the courses, Ms. Xue Dongfang and Ms. Yan Shuqing from Nancy’s Workshop conducted an in-depth review according to the curriculum standards.
薛东芳老师结合新课程标准和张伊娜教授的建议,对课程的整合性、人文性、思维性和六要素进行了细致的点评。薛老师首先强调了课程整合的重要性,两位老师不仅注重单元内整合,也注重单元间的整合,体现了单元整体教学的特点。她认为两位老师的课程有效地提升了学生的理解、应用、迁移和创新能力。颜淑情老师则着重讨论了两节课对学生英语学科素养的培养,包括语言能力、思维品质、文化意识和学习能力。她认为,两位老师在课堂上有效地培养了学生的学科核心素养,并能帮助学生创造性地运用语言,培养学生辩证性和创新性思维,教学中两位教师注重小组合作和团队合作在提升学生能力方面的作用,鼓励学生在真实情境中学习和成长。
Ms. Xue Dongfang integrated the new curriculum standards with suggestions from Professor Zhang Yina to provide detailed comments on the integration, humanity, thinking, and six elements of the courses. Ms. Xue emphasized the importance of course integration, noting that both teachers focused not only on integration within the unit but also on integration between units, reflecting the characteristics of holistic teaching. She believed that the courses of the two teachers effectively enhanced students' abilities to understand, apply, transfer, and innovate. Ms. Yan Shuqing, on the other hand, focused on the cultivation of students' English subject literacy through the two lessons, including language skills, thinking quality, cultural awareness, and learning abilities. She believed that the two teachers effectively nurtured the core literacy of students and helped them to use language creatively, fostering students' dialectical and innovative thinking. In their teaching, the two teachers emphasized the role of group and team cooperation in enhancing student abilities and encouraged students to learn and grow in realistic situations.
评课的尾声,教科院初中英语教研员刘芸老师进行了总结性的点评。刘老师强调了单元整体教学的重要性。单元整体教学不仅涉及单元内的内容整合,也包括不同单元之间的有机联系。在新课程标准的背景下,这种教学设计要求教师实现“教学评”一体化,以促进学生的全面发展。通过单元整体教学,教师能够深入分析和整合教材内容与资源,形成结构化的教学体系。教师应以单元主题为核心,设计具有深度和广度的教学内容,同时注重学生核心素养的培养。
At the end of the lesson evaluation, Ms. Liu Yun, the middle school English teaching researcher from Changzhou Institute of Educational Science, provided a summarizing review. Ms. Liu emphasized the importance of holistic unit teaching. Holistic unit teaching involves not only the integration of content within a unit but also the organic connection between different units. Against the backdrop of the new curriculum standards, this teaching design requires teachers to achieve an integrated approach of "teaching, learning, and assessment" to promote the comprehensive development of students. Through holistic unit teaching, teachers can deeply analyze and integrate textbook content and resources to form a structured teaching system. Teachers should design teaching content with depth and breadth centered on the unit theme, while also focusing on the cultivation of students' core competencies.
刘老师还强调了“依标共研、好课多磨”的重要性,通过多次观课、评课、磨课和反思是教师自我学习、同伴互助和专家引领的有效途径。她特别提到,名师工作室不仅对青年教师的成长起到了关键的引领作用,而且对整个区域的教育发展产生了积极的辐射效应。她认为工作室的意义重大,已经超越了一个团队的范围,将优秀的教学成果展示给更广泛的教育工作者,提供了学习和研究的平台,实现了资源共享和共同进步。同时,通过组织市级活动、名师工作室和教研组合作等工作,不断打磨课程,产出更多优秀的教学案例。
Ms. Liu also underscored the importance of "collaborative research based on standards and the refinement of lessons through multiple iterations." Engaging in repeated observation, evaluation, and reflection is an effective means for teachers to engage in self-learning, peer assistance, and expert guidance. She specifically mentioned that the teacher workshop has played a crucial role in the development of young teachers and has had a positive radiating effect on the educational development of the entire region. Ms. Liu believes that the significance of studios extends beyond the scope of a single team, showcasing excellent teaching achievements to a broader range of educators, providing a platform for learning and research, and achieving resource sharing and collective progress. At the same time, through organizing municipal activities, cooperation between the Teacher Studio and teaching research groups, and other efforts, the curriculum is continuously refined to produce more outstanding teaching cases.
在活动的最后环节,名师工作室领衔人李亚男校长对本次公开课进行了简要点评,执教教师与点评教师完成了工作室的公开课任务,做到了依标备课、依标施教、依标评课,公开课达到了课标的要求,抓住了新教材的特点,效果良好。
At the culmination of the event, Principal Ms. Nancy Lee provided a brief review of the open class. Teachers adhered to the standards for lesson preparation, instruction, and evaluation.
