继六年级家长工作坊之后，初中部推出“咖啡漫谈”系列活动，进一步深化家校合作。本次“咖啡漫谈”的主题聚焦于“国际数学竞赛”，旨在通过轻松愉快的方式，帮助家长们更好地理解数学竞赛对孩子成长的意义，并了解竞赛的参与方式。
In the wake of the successful sixth-grade parent workshop, the MYP has introduced a new series of events called ‘Coffee time’ ,further enhancing cooperation between parents and the school. This 'Coffee time' session centered around international math competitions,aiming to help parents better understand the role of math competitions in their children's growth and how to get involved, all in a relaxed and engaging setting.活动现场，初中部数学组Seven老师指出，参与国际数学竞赛不仅能够锻炼学生的逻辑思维、问题解决和创新能力，还能为他们的未来升学和职业发展奠定坚实基础。会上，Seven老师介绍了多种适合不同年龄段学生的竞赛类型，并通过成功案例展示了竞赛如何促进学生的全面成长。
During the event, Mr. Seven, a member of MYP math team, highlighted that participating in international math competitions not only hones students' logical thinking, problem-solving, and innovation skills but also lays a solid foundation for their future academic and career development. He introduced various types of competitions suitable for students of different age groups and shared success stories demonstrating how competitions contribute to students' overall growth.
在随后的互动环节中，家长们踊跃提问，与数学组老师们就竞赛准备及如何平衡学业压力等议题展开了热烈的讨论。老师们不仅耐心回答了所有问题，还给家长们提供了宝贵的建议与指导，增强了家长们支持的信心，也为孩子们的竞赛之路指明了方向。
In the following interactive session, parents eagerly asked questions and engaged in lively discussions with the math team teachers about competition preparation and balancing academic pressure.The teachers patiently answered all queries and provided valuable advice and guidance, boosting parents' confidence in supporting their children's competition journey and offering clear directions for the path ahead.“咖啡漫谈”是我们在家校共育道路上迈出的重要一步，它让我们能够更贴近家长的实际需求，及时提供帮助与指导。我们期待每一次的“咖啡漫谈”都能成为一次成功的交流平台，让家长们的声音被听见！
