Dora: Hello everyone, we are Grade 5B students, and today we're going to share what we learnt in our Unit of Inquiry. We've been learning about social organizations their structure, function, and purpose behind.
Cathy: As part of our action, we focused on improving the social organization we belong to, yes it's our beloved school and PYP. We started by walking around the school to explore any problems or areas for improvement.
Dora: After gathering observations, we worked together to discuss possible solutions and ideas.
Cathy: It was a collaborative process, and we came up with suggestions that we believe can make our school community better. Today, we’re excited to share these ideas with you and hope they inspire positive changes.
Dora&Cathy: Let's listen to our team members voices and make PYP a better place together!
Oscar: According to our observations there are only paper books in our PYP library. For upper grades it's necessary to use electronic devices as we are Alpha generation of technology Era.
Chloe: In this case it would be beneficial to have computers or tablets in the library to read ebooks or carry out research tasks.
Aiden: We found that tables in science classroom are a bit old. It’s not comfortable to write on them. Besides, some of them are even damaged.
Chloe: The solution is very simple! We need to replace them to the new ones, to make it more modern and more comfortable.
Tony:当探究过程中需要用到电子产品时，有的学生会控制不住，课后用它来浏览网页，拍搞笑照片，有的甚至躲着老师玩游戏，怎么办？
Jason:我们可以在班内放置电子产品柜，配备钥匙，由老师保管；我们可以设置网络使用时长，下课自动断网；我们还可以在使用电子产品前签署公约，一旦违背，将失去使用资格。
Raphael: 目前小学部的“绿色区域”太少，不够亲近大自然，也不是很美观，怎么办？
Zoe: 我们可以在大厅和每个班的走廊区域多放置一些盆栽；可以在大厅绿色沙发中间放一些小灌木；还可以在学部内设计一个“小小温室”，种植特定植物。
Mark: 大课间运动后，学生会感到些许疲惫，操场或体育馆区域缺少可供休息的座位，怎么办？
Zoe: 我们可以在操场或体育馆的一角设置遮阳伞加固定座椅。
Zemo: The area behind the gym used to be a beautiful garden. When I was in Grade 3, my friends and I would often play there. We explored fruit trees, vegetables, mushrooms, and other plants. But now it's locked and no one takes care of it.
Zoe: We think it would be great to plant vegetables, fruits, and flowers again. This way, we can learn more about nature and even enjoy the food we grow, feeling proud of our efforts.
Cataleya: There are no areas for students to rest during recess. Besides, there is no place to put our Water bottles in the gym.
Johnny: Some benches or chairs could be put in the gym to rest. And we can have some shelves to place our water bottles. Otherwise, students will keep using paper cups and leave them on the floor. It will make the area a bit messy and untidy.
Iris: Some students can't control the time using electronic devices which affects their eyes and well-being.
Dora: The solution is very simple to this! We need to reduce assigning homework that requires the use of electronic products.
Cindy: We think it is important to have a Medical Room for PYP and MYP students, because every time when someone gets hurt, we must go a long way to the Medical Room in Foundation. For example, when someone hurts his or her foot, it’s hard to walk there as the distance is far. We need another person to accompany them. It can be tiring and takes a lot of time.
Claire: Yes, I agree. If we could have a Medical Room somewhere close to PYP and MYP, it would be much convenient for everyone. Do you think it's a good idea?
Everyone: YES, YES
Louis: The climbing net on school's playground area is a bit unstable which may cause some safety issues. Moreover, if many people climb on it at the same time, it may be dangerous. So, it is important to find the solution.
Eaton: I know what to do! Firstly, we should regulate the number of people climbing on it. The classes should take turns, and everyone must strictly follow the rules. Secondly, we need to fix the net, ensuring it is properly attached to the ground.
Allan: 我有一个建议，为了防止太多人聚集在一个区域，我们可以在游乐场上提供额外的游乐设施。比如这个！

Morning all! I'm Christy from MYP Grade 7B, and this is my partner Lisa from Grade 7A.
站在庄严的国旗下，我们想与大家探讨一个我们每个人都应高度重视的话题——网络安全。在这个信息爆炸的时代，网络已经深入到我们生活的方方面面，它既是知识的海洋，也是风险的暗礁。因此我们呼吁：网络安全，人人有责！
Standing under the national flag, we would like to discuss with everyone a topic that we should pay great attention to -- cyber-security. As you are aware, the internet has been around our daily lives. As the saying goes, every coin has two sides. Therefore, we call upon everyone: Cybersecurity is everyone's responsibility!
