但语言上,我想了三组对比 teaching the locals, being taught a lesson by the village; educating other, being educated myself.

Para 1: About three hours later, we arrived where Mom would work.
As I stepped onto the uneven path leading to the local school, my shoes became caked with dirt, a reminder that I was far from the polished streets of home. Regret gnawed at my insides; how had I thought I could make a difference here? But then I noticed the local students—bright-eyed and resilient, with expressions that conveyed a mixture of joy and determination despite their circumstances. Shockingly young and yet full of hope, they sparked something within me. Remembering my parents’ words, I made-up my mind: I would do everything I could to help them.
Para 2: Quickly, three months had passed before I realized it.
As I finished my last lesson and stepped outside, the sun warmed my darkened skin, reminding me of laughter and creativity shared with eager minds. When it was time to board the car to the airport, I walked among my peers who had embraced us into their lives, feeling cleansed yet enriched by this journey. Looking at my mom beside me, I realized how thankful I was to her for this opportunity to step beyond my comfort zone and see the world through the eyes of those less fortunate. Coming here, I doubted what difference I could make to the village but in the end, it was the village that had made a difference in me. For that, I am forever grateful.
