但上次是被海草缠绕，困在海中，主角的经历难免带着一丝窘迫，美丽也带着危险。
这篇文章则不同，同样聚焦心路历程，但潜水的过程更安全，也更能让我走出舒适区，去尝试拓展自己描写海洋生物的能力。

下面是我的续写尝试
When I was eighty-one years old, I traveled to Israel mainly to support my daughter Crystal and her husband during a hard time. However, Crystal wanted me to have some fun, so she took me to Eilat, a tourist attraction in the desert at Israel's southern end. We went there for bird watching and relaxed on the beach.
"I want you to try diving along the coast," Crystal said. "You will love seeing the colorful fish swimming around you."
I wasn't so sure. Although I could swim, I only felt comfortable in a pool where my feet touched the bottom. The last time I tried diving in Hawaii, I felt frightened in deep water even though I am a good swimmer. I cried out and waved my arms around until someone helped me back onto the boat.
"You will be fine," Crystal comforted me. "We'll bring a foam noodle (泡沫浮条) for you. It will help you float, and I will stay right beside you." Wanting to join her, I agreed. We put on our diving equipment. Crystal put the noodle around me, and looking a bit silly, we headed down the beach to the pier (码头). As we walked along the long pier, I felt my mouth go dry. With every step, I grew more and more nervous, and I walked more slowly. Near
the end of the pier, I stopped. "I'm not sure about this," I said in a low voice, shaking with fear.
"Trust me, you'll be OK," Crystal said again. I looked at the rope connecting the two piers about 1,000 feet away. "I can hold onto the rope, right?" Iasked nervously.
"Yes, of course!" she replied.
Slowly, I stepped down the stairs at the end of the pier. "Oh, wow! It's really cold!" I cried, shaking like a leaf. "I don't know if I can do this."
