Once again, CBS MYP students have demonstrated their exceptional talents and capabilities through remarkable achievements in academic pursuits, sports, and other areas. 学术探索 Academic Achievements

袋鼠数学亚洲营作为一项促进亚洲地区学生数学能力发展的活动，吸引了来自不同国家和地区的优秀学子参与。初中部G8B的张博文同学在活动中脱颖而出，并以其卓越的表现获得了团体金奖、个人铜奖以及最佳海报奖。在这场活动中，张博文同学展现出良好的团队合作精神与出色的个人能力，凭借独特创意和展示技巧，收获了属于团队和自己的殊荣。

The Math Kangaroo Asia Camp, an initiative designed to enhance mathematical skills among students in the Asia region, attracted top students from various countries. Zack Zhang from G8B stood out at the event, earning a group gold medal, an individual bronze medal, and the Best Poster Award. His performance highlighted both excellent teamwork and outstanding individual ability, with his creative ideas and presentation skills earning recognition for both himself and his team.

由耶鲁大学官方支持的全球中学生学术奥林匹克——世界学者杯竞赛是以培养8-18岁“青年学者”而开展的全英文跨学科学术挑战。比赛分团队竞答、协同创作、团队辩论、学者知识挑战四个环节。在2024年世界学者杯中，G8A张益宁与Farkhunda同学组队参赛发挥出色，不仅在全球轮以总积分排名34位强势晋级耶鲁大学冠军轮，更在前两轮比赛中荣获2座团队奖杯和数枚个人金银牌。这些荣誉的背后凝结着两位同学的精心准备和不懈努力，更得益于导师的悉心指导。在这场充满挑战与激情的学术之旅中，两位同学不仅加深了彼此间的友谊，更提升了自己的学术能力。她们对即将到来的冠军轮比赛充满期待，并希望更多的同学能加入这场知识的盛宴。

The World Scholar's Cup, an academic Olympic for global middle school students officially supported by Yale University, is an all-English interdisciplinary academic challenge designed to nurture "young scholars" aged 8-18. The competition comprises four segments: scholar’s bowl, collaborative writing, team debate, and scholar's challenge. Chloe Yining Huynh and Farkhunda Madjidova of G8A showcased exceptional skills, advancing to the final 'Tournament of Champions' with an impressive global ranking of 34th in the cumulative scores. Furthermore, they won two team trophies and several individual gold and silver medals in the first two rounds. Their success is a testament to their rigorous preparation, persistent efforts, and the dedicated guidance of their mentors. This challenging and passionate academic journey has not only strengthened their friendship but also enhanced their scholarly abilities. They eagerly look forward to the final round and hope to inspire more students to join the event.

“希望之星”暨希语盛典英文演讲比赛一直是全国英语爱好者展现自我的舞台。在2024年赛季中，CBS学子取得的成果依旧亮眼。G9B任泽菲同学荣获大赛省级一等奖，G7B裴婧云同学和G9A石子恒同学分别荣获省级二等奖，G9A谈千瑀同学荣获省级三等奖。在老师们的辛勤指导、家长们的大力支持下，同学们凭借自身的不懈努力，在这场盛会中展现了CBS学子的风采。

The "Outlook Superstars Culture and Arts Awards" is an English Speech Competition have long been a platform for English enthusiasts nationwide to showcase their talents. In the 2024 season, CBS students continued to shine brightly. Lisa Ren from G9B won the first prize at the provincial level, while Christy Pei from G7B and Scott Shi from G9A received second prizes, and Amanda Tan from G9A earned a third prize. With the diligent guidance of their teachers and the strong support of their parents, these students demonstrated the spirit of CBS at this grand event through their relentless efforts.

竞技风采 Athletic Achievements

在暑期举办的2024年全国青少年击剑比赛中，G8B谢宇灏同学荣获了少年组第三名的好成绩。本次比赛吸引了全国各地优秀的击剑选手参加，经过激烈的比拼，谢宇灏以精准的技术、敏捷的动作以及沉着冷静的比赛态度，一路过关斩将，最终站上了领奖台。这一成绩不仅是他长期以来刻苦训练的最佳回报，也是对其未来潜力的高度认可。

At the 2024 National Youth Fencing Championship held this summer, Jason Xie from G8B achieved third place in the youth category. The competition attracted top fencers across the country, and Jason secured his place on the podium through precise techniques, agile movements, and a composed attitude. This result is not only a testament to his long-term hard training but also a high recognition of his future potential.

同样在击剑领域闪露锋芒的还有G8A陆籽溪同学，在2024年常州市青少年击剑锦标赛中斩获常州市女子组重剑个人第二名。荣誉的背后，是她日复一日地训练和教练的精心指导。在训练中，她不仅要面对身体上的极限挑战，还要克服心理上的压力。每一次失败后的重新站起，每一次挫折后的自我激励，都是她成长路上宝贵的财富。

Another standout in fencing is Cici Lu from G8A, who earned second place in the women’s epee category at the 2024 Changzhou Youth Fencing Championship. Her success is the result of daily training and meticulous coaching. She faced physical limits and psychological pressures, and every setback and self-motivation contributed to her growth.
