这句话的意思BJP主要依靠莫迪的name and record（reputation and achievements)竞选。看到record的时候，突然意识到一个问题，我们说一个人过往表现/业绩的时候，是很容易被汉语的字面带偏的，其实record是一个非常合适的词，科林斯也解释说：Someone's record is the facts that are known about their achievements or character. 摘录几个例句：

His country is making a big effort to improve its human rights record. 2) And as the election neared, the opposition faced an uphill battle.
