Thinkers
思考是人类文明进步的阶梯，是人类智慧的体现。真正的思考者不仅需要具备广博的知识储备，更重要的是要有独立思考的能力。11月28日，小学部全体师生相聚大剧院，一起探讨十一月美德主题--思考者。
Thinking is the ladder of progress for human civilisation and the embodiment of human wisdom. A true thinker not only needs to have a broad knowledge base, but more importantly, the ability to think independently. On November 28th, all teachers and students from Primary gathered at the Grand Theatre to discuss the theme of the November - Thinkers.
五年级同学们围绕“六顶思考帽”平行思考法展开精彩表演。他们深入理解该思考方式，将其内涵生动展现，让我们看到大脑潜力在这一框架下的无限可能，开启了一场思考创新之旅，为大家带来独特的思考启迪与感悟。
Grade 5 students presented a wonderful performance centered on the "Six Thinking Hats" parallel thinking method, showing deep understanding and clearly demonstrating it to reveal the brain's potential, initiating an innovative thinking journey and offering unique inspiration.
Backbone of a Great Nation
郭永怀，一位以深邃思考和无私奉献铸就科学丰碑的杰出科学家。他不仅是知识的探索者，更是国家使命的肩负者。在科学的道路上，他以敏锐的洞察力和不懈的追求，勇攀高峰，为中国科技事业的进步奠定了坚实基础。他的一生，是对科学精神的深刻诠释，也是对爱国情怀的生动展现。郭永怀，一个永远值得铭记和敬仰的思考者与奉献者。
Guo Yonghuai, an outstanding scientist who has forged a scientific monument with profound thinking and selfless dedication. He is not only an explorer of knowledge, but also a bearer of a national mission. On the road of science, he scaled the peaks with keen insight and a tireless pursuit, laying the foundation for the progress of China's scientific and technological endeavours. His life is a profound symbol of the spirit of science and a vivid display of patriotism. Guo Yonghuai, a dedicated thinker who is always worth remembering and admiring.

学生会主席对于本月执勤情况进行了反馈，对于发现的优点进行了表扬，不足之处提出了期望。
The heads of the student council gave feedback on the important aspects from this month. They praised the students for their good behaviour, and gave expectations and suggestions on how to improve for next month.

Tidiness
干净整洁的校园不仅能为我们提供一个舒适宜人的学习环境，更是我们精神面貌的反映。它能够提升我们的学习效率，让我们的心情更加愉悦，同时也培养了我们的责任感和集体荣誉感。在这样的环境中，我们更容易专注于学业，激发创新思维。本月为“协和之洁”月，协和学子们一起努力，营造了干净舒适的校园环境。本月小学部评选出了25名“协和之洁”小标兵和“协和之洁”班集体。
A clean and tidy campus not only provides us with a comfortable and pleasant learning environment, but also reflects our spiritual outlook. It enhances our learning efficiency, makes us feel happier, and develops our sense of responsibility and collective honour. In such an environment, it is easier for us to concentrate on our studies and stimulate creative thinking. The virtue this month is “Tidiness”. WUISers worked together to create a clean and comfortable campus. This month, 25 students of "Tidiness in WUIS" and a class of "Tidiness in WUIS" were selected.

阅读如同夜空中一颗颗闪亮的星星，为孩子们照亮前行的道路。通过倾听绘本故事，可以激发孩子们的阅读与思考。在暖暖夜读活动中，最佳留言的小读者们获得了特别的奖品。这些奖励不仅是对他们阅读热情和创作才华的认可，也是为了激励更多同学积极参与到读书、创作与思考中来。
Reading can be like stargazing, illuminating the direction of children's learning journey. When you listen to a story, you can go on a wonderful journey. In the Warm Night Reading activity, the readers with the best messages received special prizes. These awards not only recognise their passion for reading and creative talents, but also aim to inspire more students to actively participate in reading, creating and thinking.
Afternoon tea with principal
同学们通过自己的努力，获得了40张绿卡，兑换了一次与校长共进下午茶的机会，这不仅是对大家努力的认可，也为同学们提供了一个难得的交流平台，让他们能够直接向校长表达自己的想法和建议，增进师生之间的理解和沟通。这样的活动不仅丰富了校园生活，也鼓励了更多同学积极参与到学习和活动中去。
Through their own efforts, students were able to obtain 40 green cards and redeem an opportunity to have afternoon tea with principal, which not only recognised their efforts, but also provided a rare communication platform for students to express their ideas and suggestions directly to the headmaster, and to enhance the understanding and communication between teachers and students. Love Donation Class
P5C的同学们用行动诠释了温暖的力量，他们发起“衣旧有爱，让爱循环”爱心捐赠活动，将一件件冬衣转化为温暖的拥抱，跨越山川，温暖着四川省甘孜县洛若镇小学的每一个孩子。他们的善举，如同冬日里的一缕阳光，照亮了孩子们的心灵，也让我们看到了爱心的力量。他们获得的这份荣誉，不仅为了表彰他们的善行，更是为了传递这份爱，让世界因我们的存在而更加美好。
The students from P5C interpreted the power of warmth with their actions. They initiated the ‘Clothes with Love, Let Love Cycle’ love donation activity, transforming a piece of winter clothes into a warm embrace, crossing mountains and rivers, warming every child in the primary school in Luoruo Town, Ganzi County, Sichuan Province. Their good deeds, like a ray of sunshine in winter, illuminated the children's hearts and showed us the power of love. They received this honour not only in recognition of their good deeds, but also to pass on this love and make the world a better place because of our existence.第四届世界哲学日“哲思集市”活动
The 4th World Philosophy Day Market Place第四届世界哲学日活动中，同学们遵循关爱、合作、创新与批判原则，构建安心理性、平等尊重的对话空间。“哲思集市”表现优异者脱颖而出，荣获日思日睿团体奖，彰显了对哲学思考与交流的积极探索精神。
In the 4th World Philosophy Day, students followed the principles of care, cooperation, innovation and criticism to build a space for dialogue with peace of mind, rationality and equal respect. The best performers in the ‘Philosophy Bazaar’ were awarded the Risen Group Award, demonstrating the spirit of active exploration of philosophical thinking and exchange.

上周，小学部举办了数学智慧算力挑战赛。同学们热情参与，以勇气挑战难题，用思考探索数学。赛事中，人人皆成闪耀之星，于挑战里尽显才华，深刻领略数学魅力，共绘小学部数学风采的绚丽画卷。
Last week, the Primary organized the Maths Wisdom Arithmetic Challenge. Students participated enthusiastically, solving the problems with courage and exploring maths with thinking. In the tournament, everyone became a shining star, showing their talents in the challenge, deeply appreciating the charm of mathematics, and painting a gorgeous picture of the Primary Division's mathematical style.

In the 8th ‘Ode to Hope - National Youth Painting and Calligraphy Art Exhibition’, Rory from P2A stood out from the crowd with her artwork ‘Looking up at the Starry Sky’ and won the ‘Grand Prize’.

安全是学习与生活的根基，唯有身处安全环境，才能更好地学习成长。无锡市查桥派出所的邱警官凭借专业知识与实战经验，为小学部师生开展了一场深刻且生动的安全教育讲座，有效增进全校师生对安全问题的认知，强化了大家的安全与自我保护意识。
Safety is the foundation of our study and life. Only in a safe environment can we study and grow better. Officer Qiu from the Chaqiao Police Station in Wuxi, with his professional knowledge and rich practical experience, held a safety education lecture for the teachers and students. Through this lecture, the teachers and students have a deeper understanding and awareness of safety issues, and also strengthened everyone's safety and self-protection awareness.
