In the recently concluded World Scholar’s Cup, students from the primary school team of Wuxi United International School shone in their first-ever participation in this competition, winning 53 silver medals and 19 gold medals, making them the stars of the event. This achievement is not only a personal honor for the students but also the result of collective efforts from the school staff, students, and their families. 这是我们小学部首次参加世界学者杯，带着满满的期待与坚定的信念，学生们从全力备战到赛场上的精彩表现，最终取得了团队与个人共9个项目的多个奖项。最终6支队伍全部晋级全球轮。这不仅是对他们学术能力的肯定，也是对他们勇于挑战自我、克服困难的最好回报。通过这次比赛，学生们不仅在学术上取得了优异成绩，还在团队合作、解决问题等各方面得到了全方位的锻炼和提升。
This was our primary school team's first-ever participation in the World Scholars Cup, and with full expectations and firm determination, our students moved from intensive preparation to remarkable performances on the competition stage, ultimately winning multiple awards across 9 team and individual categories..This achievement is not only an affirmation of their academic abilities but also a reward for their courage in challenging themselves and overcoming difficulties. Through this competition, our students not only achieved excellent academic results but also gained comprehensive development in teamwork, problem-solving, and more.

为了这次比赛，同学们不仅在校内认真备战，更是主动在课外时间组成学习小组，自发进行模拟练习。无论是午休后的短暂间隙，还是周末的空余时间，大家都在为提高自己、为团队贡献更多的力量而努力。通过这些小组合作的学习，学生们不仅提升了知识水平，更在解决问题、团队协作等方面得到了很好的锻炼，体现了他们在挑战面前不懈追求的精神。
In preparation for this competition, the students not only studied diligently during school hours but also took the initiative to form study groups in their free time. Whether it was a brief break during lunch or weekend time, they worked tirelessly to improve themselves and contribute more to their teams. Through these group study sessions, students not only enhanced their knowledge but also received excellent training in problem-solving and teamwork, reflecting their unwavering determination when facing challenges.
同时，家长们也给予了巨大的支持和鼓励。他们为孩子们提供了一个宽松、支持的家庭环境，鼓励孩子们在紧张备赛的同时，保持良好的心态，全力以赴地备战。这份荣誉，离不开每一位家长的支持与理解。
At the same time, parents have provided immense support and encouragement. Even in the final moments before the competition, our teachers and students maintained their high spirits and relentless determination. I recall the night before the competition when students traveled from Wuxi to Shanghai. Upon arriving at the hotel, they didn’t relax but spontaneously held debate simulations in the hotel lobby, preparing for the challenges ahead the next day. This dedication to victory and commitment to self-improvement is a unique characteristic of Wuxi United International School students.
