In this beautiful season of autumn and the beginning of a new term, the second Student Council Presidential Election of the Primary of WUIS has begun.
经过初赛的激烈角逐，8名优秀选手脱颖而出，成功入围决赛。
After the fierce competition in the preliminary round, 8 outstanding contestants stood out and successfully entered the final round.
决赛现场气氛热烈，竞选者们在台上自信大方地进行了演讲，展示了自己的才华和竞选理念。他们或激情洋溢，或沉稳内敛，但都充满了对学生会工作的热爱和对服务同学的热情。上届学生会主席Isabella也发表了感言，她分享了自己在学生会工作的经验和心得，鼓励新一届学生会成员要勇于面对挑战，坚持原则，关爱同学，让学生会工作更加有实效。
The atmosphere of the final was warm, and the candidates gave speeches on the stage with confidence and generosity, showing their talents and campaign ideas. They were either passionate or calm and introverted, but all of them were full of love for the work of the Student Council and enthusiasm for serving students. Isabella, the previous president of the Student Union, also gave a speech, sharing her experience and insights in the work of the Student Council and encouraging the new Student Council members to face challenges, adhere to the principles and care for students, so as to make the work of the Student Council more effective.
投票环节严肃认真，同学们在上届学生会主席的带领下宣读了投票宣言，承诺将公平、公正、实事求是地进行投票。最终，经过紧张的计票环节，来自P6C的王子和同学和来自P6D的沈丞瑜同学凭借出色的表现和广泛的认可度成功当选为新一届学生会主席。
The voting session was serious and earnest. The students read out the voting declaration under the leadership of the previous Student Council President, promising that they would vote in a fair, just and practical manner. After an intense vote counting session, Gehard from P6C and Dizzy from P6D were successfully elected as the new Student Council Presidents by virtue of their outstanding performance and wide recognition.
竞选活动结束后，学校领导为获奖选手颁发了证书和奖励。虽然晋级名额只有两个，但是参赛的同学们都是值得我们学习的，他们勇于尝试、挑战自我、突破自我。
After the election campaign, the principals presented certificates and awards to the winners. Although there were only two places for advancement, the students who participated in the competition are worthy of our attention, they were brave to try, challenge themselves and break through.
新任学生会主席为新任学生会成员颁发了聘书，还带领全体学生会成员进行了庄严的入职宣誓，表达了他们为学校和同学们服务的决心和信念。
The new president of the Student Council awarded the appointment certificates to the new members of the Student Council, and also led all the members of the Student Council to take a solemn oath of office, expressing their determination and faith to serve the school and the students.

The election campaign not only showed the students' spirit of trying and challenging themselves, but also injected new vigour and blood into the Student Council. We believe that under the leadership of the new Student Council President and members, the campus atmosphere of WUIS will be more harmonious, warm and energetic.
