One day, they arrived at a steep and perilous mountain where tigers and wolves roamed, creating a frightening atmosphere.
这天，他们来到一座险峻高山前，山中虎狼出没，景象阴森。
Feeling hungry, Tang Seng asked Sun Wukong to go find food.
唐僧肚中饥饿，便让孙悟空去化斋。
Sun Wukong leaped into the clouds to search and spotted ripe mountain peaches on a southern hill, which he informed Tang Seng about before heading to pick them.
孙悟空跃上云端，四处寻找，见南山有熟透的山桃，便告知唐僧后前去采摘。
However, a demoness called Baigujing saw Tang Seng alone and planned to capture him but was deterred by Zhu Bajie and Sha Seng's presence.
这山上有个白骨精，见唐僧独坐，本欲捉拿，却因八戒、沙僧在旁不敢近身。
She transformed into a beautiful woman carrying food to approach Tang Seng.
于是，白骨精摇身一变，化作一个月貌花容的女子，提着斋饭去接近唐僧。
Zhu Bajie, taken by her beauty, was tempted, and the woman lied that her jar contained fragrant rice and her bottle contained fried gluten, claiming she came to offer food to the monk.
八戒见女子生得俊俏动了凡心，女子谎称罐中是香米饭、瓶中是炒面筋，特来斋僧。
At first, Tang Seng declined, but with Zhu Bajie’s urging and fearing her husband’s anger, he still hesitated to eat.
唐僧起初推辞，后因八戒撺掇，便依旧不肯吃。
Just then, Sun Wukong returned with the peaches and immediately recognized the woman as a demon, ready to strike.
此时孙悟空摘桃回来，一眼识破女子是妖精，举棒就打。
The demoness used a technique to escape, leaving behind a fake corpse.
妖精使个解尸法逃走，留下一具假尸首。
Tang Seng scolded Sun Wukong for killing an innocent person, but Sun Wukong pointed out the jar was full of maggots, frogs, and toads, making Tang Seng partially believe him.
唐僧责怪孙悟空无故伤人性命，孙悟空让唐僧看罐中，里面全是长蛆和青蛙，唐僧这才信了三分。
Baigujing, undeterred, came up with another plan and transformed into an old woman with white hair.
白骨精一计不成又生一计，变作一个两鬓如冰雪的老妇人前来。
Sun Wukong recognized her again and prepared to strike, but the demoness escaped once more, prompting Tang Seng to recite the tight-seal mantra.
孙悟空认出又是妖精，举棒再打，妖精再次脱逃，唐僧又念起紧箍咒。
Still unwilling to give up, she transformed into an old man with white hair resembling Pengzu.
白骨精仍不甘心，又变成一个白发如彭祖的老公公。
Tang Seng was pleased and thought he was a kind person, but Zhu Bajie warned that he might be a relative of the demoness.
唐僧见了心中欢喜，以为是善人，猪八戒却说这定是之前被打死之人的亲属。
Sun Wukong confronted the demoness, recognized her again, and called upon the earth god and mountain god to testify before striking her down.
孙悟空上前与妖精对峙，识破其身份后，念动咒语叫来土地、山神作证，一棒打死了妖精。
The demoness revealed her true form as a pile of bones with "White Bone Lady" inscribed on her spine.
妖精现了原形，是一堆粉骷髅，脊梁上还有“白骨夫人”四字。
However, Zhu Bajie instigated Tang Seng, suggesting that Sun Wukong was pretending to be the demoness out of fear of the mantra, causing Tang Seng to believe him.
可猪八戒又在旁边挑唆，说孙悟空是怕师父念咒故意变化的模样。
Tang Seng, once again swayed by Zhu Bajie, recited the tight-seal mantra again.
唐僧又信了八戒，再次念起紧箍咒。
Sun Wukong helplessly explained, but Tang Seng insisted on driving him away.
孙悟空无奈向唐僧解释，可唐僧不依不饶，执意赶走孙悟空。
Feeling the bitterness of their journey and knowing it was the last straw, Sun Wukong reluctantly bid farewell to Tang Seng.
孙悟空想起一路艰辛，心中凄苦，但也知道事不过三，只好辞别师父。
He transformed one of his hairs into three clones to bow to Tang Seng and asked Sha Seng to watch out for Zhu Bajie’s tongue before sadly returning to Flower-Fruit Mountain.
他拔下毫毛变成三个自己，围住唐僧下拜，又嘱托沙僧防着八戒多嘴，随后含悲忍气返回花果山。
On the way, Sun Wukong felt lonely and, hearing the sound of the waves, couldn’t help but shed tears as he remembered Tang Seng.
一路上，孙悟空独自凄凄惨惨，听到大海潮声又想起唐僧，不禁泪落。
