“陛下，这妖猴吃了众多宝贝，已成就金刚不坏之体，刀枪难伤。
Why not throw him into the Eight Trigrams Furnace to refine him? We can produce my elixir and he will turn to ashes."
不如将他投入八卦炉中炼制，既可炼出我的仙丹，他也会被烧成灰烬。”
The Jade Emperor, having no better plan, commanded to push Wukong into the furnace.
玉帝一时也无更好办法，便命人将悟空推入炼丹炉。
Taishang Laojun used magic to ignite the furnace, burning for a full forty-nine days.
太上老君施展法术燃起炉火，一炼便是七七四十九天。
Wukong, noticing the fire's strength varied, hid in a place where the flames couldn't reach him.

炼丹时辰已满，太上老君打开炉门准备取丹。

大圣突然看见亮光，“嗖”地一下跳出，一脚蹬翻八卦炉，把炉边的老君摔了个倒栽葱。
