So, the mice couple went out to look for a relative for their daughter.
于是，老鼠夫妇出门寻亲。

刚出门便看见天空中雄赳赳，气昂昂的太阳，他们心想，太阳乃世间最强大的存在，任何黑暗鬼魅都畏惧太阳的光芒，若女儿嫁给太阳，不就等于嫁给了光明吗？
After hearing the request of the mice couple, the sun frowned and said, "Respectable old people, I am not as strong as you think. Dark clouds can cover my rays." The mice couple were immediately speechless.
太阳听了老鼠夫妇的请求，皱着眉头说道：“可敬的老人们，我并非你们想象的那般强壮，黑云能够遮住我的光芒。” 老鼠夫妇顿时哑口无言。
Then, they went to the dark cloud to ask for marriage.
接着，他们来到黑云处求亲。
The dark cloud replied with a wry smile, "Although I can block the sunlight, just a slight breeze can make me disappear."
黑云苦笑着回答：“虽然我能遮挡阳光，可只需一丝微风，便能让我云消雾散。”
After thinking for a while, the mice couple found the wind that could restrain the dark cloud.
老鼠夫妇思索一番后，又找到了克制黑云的风。
The wind laughed and said, "I can blow away the dark cloud, but a wall can subdue me."
风笑道：“我可以吹散黑云，但一堵墙就能把我制服。”
Later, the mice couple found the wall. When the wall saw them, it showed a look of fear and said, "In this world, I am most afraid of you mice. No matter how solid the wall is, it can't withstand mice making holes and will eventually collapse."
随后，老鼠夫妇找到墙，墙看到他们，露出恐惧的神色，说道：“在这个世界上，我最怕你们老鼠，再坚固的墙也抵挡不住老鼠打洞，最终会崩塌。”
The mice couple looked at each other and felt that mice were still the most powerful. They began to wonder again. Who were mice afraid of? Right! Since ancient times, mice have been afraid of cats!
老鼠夫妇面面相觑，觉得还是老鼠最有力量。他们又开始寻思，老鼠怕谁呢？对了，自古以来老鼠怕猫！
So, the mice couple went to find the flower cat and insisted on marrying their daughter off to the flower cat. The flower cat laughed heartily and agreed without hesitation.
于是，老鼠夫妇找到了花猫，坚持要把女儿嫁给花猫。花猫哈哈大笑，满口答应下来。
On the day of the wedding, the mice sent their most beautiful daughter off with the most solemn ceremony.
在迎娶的那一天，老鼠们用最为隆重的仪式送最美丽的女儿出嫁。
But unexpectedly, the cat suddenly jumped out from behind and ate its bride in one bite.
可意想不到的事情发生了，花猫从背后突然窜出，一口便吃掉了自己的新娘。
