Imperia Tognacci [Italy]
Untitled
1
lo, as reflux of rejected flutter
from the rock of boredom,
I had taken the desert route.
All you have to do is follow the direction
wells and oases for the soul
Thirsty!Return wave
brings me back to the plots
of my roots, where, in solitary
rooms, breath of silent words
puff the abandoned silent
on the backrest. You will get up
Again the forehead, ears,
You will respond to the appeal of the sun!
Silent, you reach me, you,
that you are no longer in the limit of the field.
I return to the demolished illusions
Hoping that, stone upon stone,
May a better world arise.
2
When my being a prisoner
between walls of flesh he stirs and cries,
it can’t be enough for me, mother,
the dragging of gestures
within the hemming of the domestic field.
Tired is the hour of yellowed words,
of faces exiled in thin frames,
of certain perimeters, of numbered steps
between the bedroom and the kitchen,
of coffee scent, which gives charge
in the morning air, of the rotating
Rhythm of the washing machine
and the background vociferous
of the small screen,
repeating scarce bread
on impoverished canteens.
I don’t resign myself to the wind
of my time that, behind the glass,
of the last leaf spies the tired rhythm.
3
I won’t dig for gold
that does not exist in the earth
of resignation. I’ll turn the spit
for daily food.
I will sew
hemming, I will mend tears.
I will draw water, I will collect wood
trying to catch the wind
so that, swirling, he brings me
in the universalembrace.
The kneeler in silence
waits, to dissipate the night
of the soul. In the mirror
interior, floating shapes
of the past they change into each other.

1
