"Dialogues in Law and Social Sciences" Conference
We are pleased to announce the preliminary planning for a significant academic conference titled "Dialogues in Law and Social Sciences," which is intended to foster interdisciplinary dialogue at the intersection of legal studies and other social sciences.

• Proposed Organizers: The conference is anticipated to be organized by "Tsukuba Conference 2025," with the Law scholl at College of Social Sciences University of Tsukuba
Objective and Scope:
The conference aims to invite scholars engaged in legal sociology, legal anthropology, legal pedagogy, and other interdisciplinary fields of law, as well as those working on topics such as gender and law, nationality and law, sports and law, children and law, and ethnicity and law. The goal is to explore resonances with existing legal frameworks and to promote dialogue between legal studies and other social sciences, seeking new paradigms for future legal research.
Early Notification:
Given the advanced preparation required for scholars from certain countries to secure travel documentation, this preliminary announcement is issued to facilitate the necessary preparations for those planning to visit Japan.
Next Steps:
The planning and approval process for the conference is currently underway, with the final confirmation of the event's organization and details expected by March 2025.
