First of all, we would like to express our gratitude for your long lasting trust and support. Our students have gradually become civilized citizens with patriotic and international perspectives.
一年一度的教师节即将到来，在这个特殊的日子里，宏远外国语学校全体师生向您发出倡议：
As the annual Teachers' Day is approaching, for this special holiday, all WFLS faculty have put forth a proposal to our parents:
教师节，我们只接受祝福，不接受礼物。我们将拒绝一切形式的馈赠，抵制请客送礼的庸俗风气，捍卫宏外人高尚的师德师魂，坚守教育的一方净土，用自身的模范行为为教师正名！
We will only accept blessings from you instead of gifts or presents on Teachers' Day. We will refuse all forms of gifts and resist the impropriety of gift-giving, in order to improve our teachers' professional ethics.
亲爱的家长朋友，您是孩子的第一任老师，只有您放下手中的“小礼”，宏外的学子才能养成真正的“大礼”。请您不要担心不送礼物是否会影响家校之间的关系，请相信教育是公平的，我们是公正的。
Dear parents, you are the child's primary teacher. Only when you set an example for your children can they develop true virtue. Please, do not worry, how not sending gifts will affect the home-school partnership. You should firmly believe that our education system is always extremely fair.

Attachment: WFLS faculty has signed a letter of commitment about "No gifts are accepted on holidays" (Signed into effect)
1.为人师表，注重身教，不向学生及家长索要或接受任何财物。
1. As a teacher, I emphasize my words and deeds, and will neither ask for nor accept any property from students' parents.
2.坚决不参加由家长安排的宴请、旅游、健身休闲等活动。
2. We firmly do not participate in the dinner, travel, fitness and leisure activities arranged by parents.
3.坚决抵制社会不良风气，不利用职责之便谋取私利。
3. I resolutely resist a corrupt social atmosphere, and will not seek personal gains resulting from my duties.
