由于经济下行以及近期的地缘政治和国际形势，整个行业大环境异常艰难，同时面临着大范围的预算削减和裁员等各种问题。在线上举办今年的饮迷酒吧行业区域颁奖盛典之后，我们最不愿意见到的事情就是取消最后的全国颁奖，所以我们在尽最大努力保证这场行业盛会能够在线下顺利举办。这也意味着我们需要积极规划并调动各种资源，竭尽所能为所有合作伙伴、粉丝与到场嘉宾提供最好的颁奖盛典体验。
我们已经考察过多个场地作为候选。而在最近的一周，转机出现了——上海西岸美高梅酒店将成为今年饮迷全国颁奖盛典的主办场地，同时退出最佳酒店酒吧的奖项评选。
上海西岸美高梅酒店在过去两年间与国内酒吧社群联系紧密，成功举办了多场行业活动，为整个行业的发展贡献良多。而它旗下的酒店酒吧Sky59也凭借精彩纷呈的客座调酒和业内活动（比如今年初的SIP超新星调酒大奖赛）脱颖而出，一举拿下今年上海区域的最佳酒店酒吧。正如大家所知的那样，为了避免利益冲突，饮迷颁奖盛典主办场地不得参与最佳酒店酒吧的评选，因此上海西岸美高梅酒店将会退出全国奖项的角逐，这也意味着今年的全国最佳酒店酒吧奖项的候选者只有五位。
The MGM Shanghai West Bund has been doing a lot over the past two years to become more and more integrated and relevant within our trade, and that has been recognised with it just taking the Shanghai Regional Award for Sky59, their hotel bar, where they have hosted many guest shifts as well as trade activations like the SIP Supernova Cocktail Grand Prix earlier this year. As many of you know, our host venues cannot be in the running for the hotel bar award due to obvious conflicts, therefore MGM Shanghai West Bund has decided to not participate the 2024 National DRiNK Awards, giving chances to the other five regions to shine this year.
在与钓鱼台美高梅酒店集团运营副总裁及上海西岸美高梅酒店总经理Byron Chong和酒店餐饮行政助理经理Kevin Chan的交流过程中 ，他们表示，能够赢得上海最佳酒店酒吧奖项已然是对酒店开业以来付出所有努力的最佳回报，因此现在是时候来为中国酒吧行业提供一个专业优秀的场地，来举办今年的饮迷全国颁奖盛典（接下来我们的颁奖盛典有可能会在很长一段时间里都无法跟大家见面了……以后会具体说明）。为了庆祝西岸美高梅酒店成为今年饮迷全国颁奖盛典的合作伙伴，Byron特意写下了一段话。

This year, our Sky59 rooftop bar is thrilled to receive the prestigious title of "Best Hotel Bar in Shanghai". For a hotel that has been around for less than two years, this award is a significant recognition for MGM Shanghai West Bund. Beyond the achievement, we remain highly attentive to the outstanding nominees in each category.
尽管当前的经济环境给各行各业都带去了巨大的冲击与挑战，今年的饮迷酒吧行业区域颁奖盛典也不得不改为线上举办，但我坚信，所有在幕后付出的努力都值得喝彩，而所有的挑战也都将变为机遇，帮助我们不断成长。
Even though the current economic climate presents considerable changes and challenges for all industries, and this year’s regional awards had to move online, I believe that all the efforts behind the scenes deserves applause, and all challenges will turn into opportunities, allowing us to continue thriving.
因此，上海西岸美高梅酒店决定成为2024 饮迷酒吧行业颁奖盛典的主办场地，同时退出酒店酒吧奖项的全国评选。在这个艰难的时刻，我们愿以实际行动支持饮迷与整个酒吧行业。
Therefore, MGM Shanghai West Bund has decided not to participate in the 2024 National DRiNK Awards and instead offer hotel as a venue to host this year’s grand event. We are committed to supporting DRiNK and entire bar industry during these trying times through our actions.
