在医疗行业中，质量改进（Quality Improvement, QI）已成为提升患者医疗质量、优化医疗流程的核心手段。医护人员、质量改进专家、患者及其家属以及护理人员都在这一过程中发挥着不可或缺的作用。为了使这些宝贵的经验和创新思维得以广泛传播，学术期刊的发表成为了展示和推广这些质量改进工作的有力平台。然而，在这一过程中，如何有效地将质量改进工作的成果转化为高质量的学术文章，并成功发表在同行评议学术期刊上，却常常让许多从业者感到挑战重重。为解决这一痛点，并帮助更多的医疗机构分享他们的质量改进经验与新知，中国卒中学会及其官方英文期刊Stroke and Vascular Neurology（SVN）编辑部，携手BMJ集团（BMJ Group）、北京大学第三医院，特别策划组织了“如何发表质量改进工作：编辑视角”工作坊（Workshop），拟于2024年8月23日（周五）下午13:30～15:00，在北京新青海喜来登酒店（北京市丰台区西营街8号院1号楼）3层小宴会厅1召开。特邀BMJ Quality & Safety期刊的两位联合主编，来自美国德克萨斯大学休斯顿健康科学中心麦戈文医学院Eric J. Thomas教授，以及伦敦大学学院药学院用药安全教授、帝国理工学院医院首席药物研究员Bryony Dean Franklin教授，将通过精彩的讲座和小组讨论，深入探讨如何在学术期刊上发表质量改进项目报告，帮助与会者掌握相关技巧，避开常见误区。这是一次与业内顶尖专家近距离交流、获取前沿知识和实用技巧的宝贵机会，诚邀各界有志于提高医疗质量的专业人士前来参加，共同探讨和分享行业的最新成果与经验。
Eric J. Thomas, MD, MPH, is a Professor of Medicine at McGovern Medical School, and Director of the UTHealth-Memorial Hermann Center for Healthcare Quality and Safety. Since 1992 he has conducted research on patient safety and his work was heavily cited in the Institute of Medicine’s landmark report on medical error. Dr. Thomas’ current research focuses on diagnostic errors, measuring safety culture, measuring and improving teamwork, and the use of health information technology improve quality and safety. In 2007 he received the John M. Eisenberg Patient Safety and Quality Award for Research from the National Quality Forum and Joint Commission.
Professor Bryony Dean Franklin is visiting Professor at the Centre for Prevention and Management at Imperial College. She is a theme Lead within the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Imperial Patient Safety Translational Research Centre, leading research in medication safety and the safe use of technology. She is also Executive Lead Pharmacist (Research), Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and Director of the Centre for Medication Safety and Service Quality (CMSSQ), a joint research unit between Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and UCL School of Pharmacy where she is Professor of Medication Safety. Professor Franklin is also a theme lead for the NIHR Health Protection Research Unit (HPRU) in Healthcare Associated Infection and Antimicrobial Resistance. Together with Public Health England colleague Susan Hopkins, Professor Franklin leads a theme on ‘Innovations in behaviour change, technology and patient safety to improve infection prevention and antimicrobial use’. The HPRU, which was established on 1 April 2014, is a partnership between Imperial College London, Public Health England, Cambridge University Veterinary School, the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute and Imperial College Health Partners North West London Academic Health Science Network.1）确定发表QI工作的机会，以便与他人一起传播他们的经验和新知识3）描述在项目阶段和写作阶段可以采用的策略，以增加发表的机会2）描述并实施在实施质量改进项目过程中的策略，以增加发表作品的机会
