We Are... (and other two poems)
In this you are like me: you have horror
for gloomy weather, you feel a stab
under your snow-white breast.
We are
migrating birds, tireless and idle in good weather
going beyond seas and mountains
with our imagination looking for the sun.
In this way, you are of my world. This
white January took away from you
even your thoughts and you remain
close to me because I can cuddle you
with my words.
Oh, to sleep
under the white mantle of the snow
like corn in the fields
and then wake up in the Spring
more powerful! And not hear
the moaning of the peach tree
under the strong lashing of rain,
and not to be weary in the monotony
of days!
Perhaps life
will no longer be gloomy
if your new sensitive seedlings
will bring me back to my song.
But already you are not listening to me!
A downing of sun
put wings to your dreams:
a crackling of sprouts, tallest
grasses and waters, flowers
on the shrubs and walls,
between your mossy lashes;
dances, songs, smiles:
a sea of pleasure
for your body made of kisses and of sun.
Carnivalesque February
I don’t have any more fingers to leaf through your faces,
nor breath to blow on your multicolored
hair... all of you is
a carnivalesque February,
a yearning, a madness
a burst of voluptuous laughter,
an intimate sadness
that grips my heart.
I have hung my dreams on the hawthorn
for the incipient Spring.
Although I am not hoping for your gifts,
I will sit along the hedges of the bergamot
where your house is inebriated in the midst of them
and I will wait until you pass by
to dispense your smiles.
Made of Grass and Air
And now you can sing
open your arms to this sun
that melts red roses,
kisses, and dreams of love.
There, I can see you, my Spring:
you come forth from the close of a long Winter
and bring me a notion of beauty...
Oh, if I could only stop time
and prolong this instant
beyond our horizon,
In that life where the "I"
does not have meanings and boundaries!
But soon you will go....
I know that you stay with me
for a short time. Tomorrow March
will smile from the hill and you will take again
your astral origins,
made of grass and air
you return into your magic form.

也没有更多的气息吹拂你多彩的

一个狂欢的二月，
一阵渴望，疯狂
性感迷人的笑声，
一种温馨的忧伤
扼住了我的心房。
我为初春
把梦想悬挂于山楂树上。
尽管不奢望你的礼物，
我还是会坐在佛手柑篱笆旁
那是你的家沉醉其中的地方
而我会等着你经过
展示你的笑靥郎朗。
由青草和空气铸就
向着太阳张开你的双臂
然后你可以歌唱

About the author
Domenico DEFELICE was born at Anoia in the Italian region of Calabria on October 3, 1936; he lives now in Pomezia, a city near Rome, Italy. Was collaborator of several literary magazines (among which: New Anthology, Pietra Serena, The Voice of Calabria, The Pugliese Voice, The Newspaper of Reggio, La Procellaria, Alla Bottega, Midday’s Voice, Calabria’s Chronicles, Minosse, Literary Aspects, The Sonda, Seraphic Light, Ciociara Gazette, Satura, Varnish, etc.) and for 15 years, of the daily newspaper Avvenire (Becoming). Until December 22, 2022 he was director and editor of the monthly literary magazine Pomezia-Notizie which he founded in 1973 and which was chosen by the IWA (International Writers Association, USA) as “The best news magazine of the year” and “The International Best Poetry Magazine of the Year 2007” and, again, by the International Poetry Translation and Research Centre/The Journal of World Poets Quarterly (multilingual) In China, on December 28, of the same year. For 27 years he organized The Literary International Contest “City of Pomezia” later donated to the city council of Pomezia which continues to organize it. Defelice is also a member of the Jury for other literary and artistic contests. His works have been translated in French, English, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Romanian, Korean, Chinese, and Russian. “12 Months with My Girl” (ED. La Procelleria, 1964), had years of great success in Italy, and translations in other countries: in French by Paul Courget “Douze mois avec L’amour” in 1967, and one in Spanish by Luis Cayetano Fiorenza” Doce meses con el amor” in Argentina at Ciudadela in 1979.
