The CIIE (China International Import Expo), alongside the Canton Fair, the China International Fair for Trade in Services, the Hainan Expo and the Supply Chain Expo, is one of China's five major expos. As the world's first national-level import-themed professional trade fair, CIIE has showcased around 2,500 new products over the past 6 years.

France, Malaysia, Nicaragua, Saudi Arabia, Tanzania and Uzbekistan are the guests of honor at this year's gathering.
