爱栖指尖
Love shouldst float through the dusky blue sky to rest upon thy finger.
云天翳，爱无依，指尖启，终长栖。
A heart untouchable
心，无形难触，
will finally rest upon your finger,
指尖启处，终会长栖。
and the years of its stay depend on
若问停泊几何，
whether you will stretch your hand to grasp it
则看是否执着，
and how firmly you hold it,
呵护又有几多，
even if the heavy frost numbs your fingers
即使十指封霜，
or the scorching air tries to steal it away,
又或灼浪偷香。
after you have met many faces
一路遇人，
that should be forgotten,
多数淡漠，
among whom the most familiar stranger
最熟悉者，也为陌路，
might be the beauty or the beast,
冷暖自知，
or the famine or the feast,
甘苦走过，
and turned out to be
最后无非，
just a mirror of your dreams,
一片镜花、
a reflection in a stream,
一折水月，
or a mask you will never see through,
面具重重，参透无果。
and you realise your happiness in a crowd,
自此方悟：群嚣狂欢，
with proud sparkling eyes and bouncy glowing hair,
目炫发舞，
pleases others but not yourself,
娱乐他人罢了。
a naughty, lonely, frail, but good-hearted child,
本是孩童，孤弱顽皮，善心尚存，
wrapped carefully inside your shell
层层甲胄，包裹自己，
to prevent others from seeing you cry
只妨悲伤外露；
and drunk in alcohol
终日沉醉，
to let go of all things terrible and gloomy,
不过借酒消愁。
waiting for the moment
只待那一天，
when the day understands
白日终谙，
the depth of the night
黑夜深沉；
and when the melody
灵魂尽处，
silently hummed within your soul
静吟之歌，
is heard by a person,
终遇知音。
near or far,
咫尺天涯，
who will greet you with a smile,
此人浅笑相应，
simple, warm, and honest,
温润如玉，
and take your laughter and tears
无论喜怒哀乐，
as the best gift
视你如宝，
for evermore.
直至永远。
