家校携手 共育花开——小学部家长会、开放日、家长茶会圆满举行

对于儿童教育，家长和老师在孩子的成长过程中缺一不可。开学伊始，青浦协和小学部通过家长会、一年级开放日，家长茶会等多种形式更好地实现家校合作。

In a child’s education, both parents and teachers play essential roles in the growth process. At the start of the school year, SUIS Qingpu successfully strengthened the partnership between home and school through activities like Parent Meetings, Grade 1 Open Days, and parent tea gatherings.

9月底，家长们踏入温馨的教室，在这里，班主任和各科老师分享着孩子们在校的点点滴滴，从日常表现到学习进展，从生活习惯到社交互动。老师们不仅详细介绍了本学期的学科重点及丰富多彩的活动安排，还提供了如何在家庭环境中支持孩子学习的温馨建议；如何与孩子共同面对成长中的挑战；如何成为孩子成长路上的坚强后盾。这些真诚的交流，不仅加深了家长们对学校教育的理解，也为家校之间的紧密合作奠定了坚实的基础。

At the end of September, parents were welcomed into classrooms, where homeroom and subject teachers shared insights into their children’s school lives, covering aspects from daily performance to academic progress and life habits to social interactions. Teachers provided a comprehensive overview of the academic goals and various activities planned for the semester, and offered valuable advice on how parents can support their children's learning at home, address growth challenges together, and be a strong foundation for their children's growth journey. These heartfelt exchanges not only enhanced parents' understanding of the school's educational approach, but also established a strong beginning for effective home-school collaboration.

家校合作的美妙之处，在于我们能够携手走进孩子们的世界，共同体验他们的成长之旅。在一年级开放日这一天，家长们仿佛变成了孩子们的伙伴，一起在知识的海洋中探险：在语文的森林学堂里，小探险家们乘坐拼音列车，勇敢地收集魔法宝石；在数学古堡里，小数学家们跟随神秘短信的指引，展开了一场智慧的冒险；在英语的神奇王国里，孩子们变身为快乐的小精灵，边唱边跳，用歌声和舞步学会了教室的魔法规则和神秘用语；美术课上，孩子们在色彩的世界里，变成小小画家，给想象的翅膀涂上斑斓；体育课上，小运动员们在操场上变成灵活的松鼠，跳跃、奔跑，快乐成长；STEAM课上，小科学家们在实验中揭开静电的神秘面纱；音乐课上，小音乐家们在旋律中变成舞动的音符，让快乐随着节奏飞扬。

亲身体验丰富多彩的学习环境，让家校合作更加真实而亲近。

Home-school collaboration thrives when parents enter the child's world and share in their growth experiences. During the Grade 1 Open Day, parents joined their children in various learning activities: In the Chinese language class, students rode the Pinyin train to collect learning gems; in math, they followed clues for an intellectual adventure; in English, they sang and danced to learn new expressions; in art, they painted vibrant pictures; in physical education, they played energetically; in STEAM, they explored static electricity through experiments; and in music, they moved energetically to the rhythm. This direct involvement in a dynamic learning environment strengthens the connection between home and school.

家长茶会，就像是一杯温暖的茶，它不仅滋润着我们的心田，更是家校合作中的一股温暖的力量。在金秋十月里，学校为一至五年级的家长代表用心筹备了五场温馨的家长茶会。这些茶会不仅是一次简单的聚会，更是一次心与心的交流。各年级教师代表就学生成长、家校课堂和教师发展等模块和家长们做了交流。

The Parent Tea Gathering offers comfort and support in home-school collaboration. In October, the school hosted five tea gatherings for parent representatives from Grades 1 to 5. These meetings focused on open discussions, where grade leaders talked with parents about important topics related to the children, parents, teachers, and the future.

心系孩子：学校开发德育系统深化孩子们的道德认知与能力，推广myON在线阅读平台培养孩子们的阅读习惯等等，每一项活动都是为了让孩子们在知识的天空中自由翱翔，在生活的土地上坚实扎根。

Caring for the children: The school has created a moral education system to enhance children's moral understanding and skills. It also encourages the use of the myON online reading platform to build strong reading habits. Each activity aims to help children thrive in their learning and holistic growth.

心系家长：学校为家长们提供专业的父母课程支持；通过家长俱乐部让家长们找到共鸣，共同成长。在这里，每位家长都能找到力量，学习如何成为更好的父母，同时也成就更好的自己。

Caring for the parents: The school provides professional parenting courses to assist parents and has established a Parent Club where they can connect and grow together. In this supportive environment, parents can gain strength and learn how to become more effective parents while also focusing on their personal growth.

心系老师：学校通过各类专业教研活动，托举每一位老师的教学能力，支持他们的专业成长。学校相信，优秀的老师是孩子们成长路上的明灯，他们的智慧和热情将照亮孩子们的未来。

Caring for the teachers: The school supports teachers' professional growth through various development activities to enhance their teaching skills. The school believes that outstanding teachers are essential guides in children's educational journeys, and their knowledge and enthusiasm will brighten the children's futures.

茶会期间，家长们之间彼此交流，与年级组长、任课老师进行沟通。大家敞开心扉，真诚沟通，达成共识，为孩子们的未来发展助力。

Everyone shared openly, communicated sincerely, and agreed on how to best support the children's future development.

On our campus, each Parent Meeting, Open Day, and Parent Tea Gathering adds to the story of our children's growth. We focus on sharing both knowledge and care. We are confident that, with the support of both home and school, every child can reach their full potential and stand out like a bright autumn leaf.
