NESSIC羽毛球锦标赛精彩片段

On November 15 and 16, our Middle School ‘Under 15 (U15)’ badminton team made history by participating in the Network for Enriching Students and Schools in China (NESSIC) Badminton Tournament held at AISL Harrow Haikou in Haikou, Hainan. This occasion marked the first time one of our Badminton teams ventured outside of Shanghai for a sports tournament, and the excitement was palpable as they embarked on this memorable journey.

此次比赛汇聚了10所学校的65名运动员，涵盖15岁以下和19岁以下组别。由体育部主任何琴琴和教练顾章平带队，我校六名15岁以下的初中球员应邀参赛。他们是：张楚妤（6D ）、黄嘉宸（6F ）、谢沐凡（7D ）、陈韬羽（7D ）、郑博文（8C ）和 林弘恩（8F ）。

The tournament was a vibrant showcase of talent, bringing together 10 schools and a total of 65 athletes competing in both Under 15 and Under 19 categories. Our team, guided by Head of PE Shaina He and Coach Jordan Gu, included six dedicated middle school players from the U15 division: Nora Zhang (Class 6D), Coco Huang (6F), Melissa Xie (7D), Tao Chen (7D), Vincent Zheng (8C), and Eden Lin (8F).

随着比赛的展开，我校球员展现出卓越的专业技术和高尚的体育精神，取得了令人瞩目的成绩，为他们骄傲，向他们祝贺！

As the matches unfolded, our players demonstrated remarkable skill and sportsmanship. We are proud to highlight their outstanding achievements within the U15 division:

比赛现场气氛热烈，参赛者们不仅在赛事中比拼技艺，更展现了强烈的集体荣誉感。NESSIC羽毛球赛不仅为选手们提供了展示才华的平台，还为他们的个人成长和友谊增进创造了机会。

The atmosphere was charged with excitement, not just from the competition but also from the sense of community among the participating schools. Overall, the NESSIC Badminton Tournament was not only a platform for our players to showcase their talents but also a fantastic opportunity for personal growth and camaraderie. 

值得一提的是，比赛期间，运动员们有幸见到了2004年雅典夏季奥运会4×100米接力金牌得主马龙·德沃尼什（Marlon Devonish）。他的出现不仅激励了学生，更为这次经历增添了奥林匹克精神的魅力。

As a special highlight, our athletes had the unique opportunity to meet Marlon Devonish, a celebrated Olympic athlete who won a gold medal in the 4 x 100 meters relay at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. His presence at the conference inspired our students and added a touch of Olympic spirit to their experience. 

爱学知（NESSIC）是一个新成立的、非营利性的、总部位于北京的双语学校协会组织，上海青浦区协和双语学校很荣幸成为八个创始学校之一。NESSIC旨在为成员学校的管理团队、教职工团队提供高质量的专业发展机会，促进成员学校之间的分享和交流，并为学生提供学术类、体育累和艺术领域的丰富活动。NESSIC羽毛球锦标赛与其首次领导力会议同一时期举行。

The Network for Enriching Students and Schools in China （NESSIC） is a new, non-profit, Beijing-based association of bilingual schools, of which SUIS Qingpu proudly stands as one of the eight founding members. NESSIC's main purposes are: to provide member schools with high-quality professional development opportunities for leaders, teachers and staff；to share information and experiences among member schools；and to provide students with both academic, sports and arts-related enrichment activities. The NESSIC Badminton Tournament coincided with NESSIC's inaugural Leadership Conference.

羽毛球赛圆满落幕后，NESSIC计划未来举办篮球、足球和排球等系列赛事。我们为运动员们感到骄傲，并期待他们在未来迎接更多挑战。

As NESSIC has already planned for future U15 and U19 competitions in a range of sports, including basketball, soccer and volleyball, we are at the same time both incredibly proud of our athletes and looking forward to many more adventures in the future.
