Dante, Purgatorio, X. 40: “Giurato si saria ch’el dicesse ‘Ave!’”; 58-63: “Dinanzi parea gente; e tutta quanta, / partita in sette cori, a’ due mie’ sensi / faceva dir l’un ‘No’, l’altro ‘Sì, canta’. // Similemente al fummo de li ’ncensi / che v’era imaginato, li occhi e ’l naso / e al sì e al no discordi fensi”22;寫此情最切,而論者未引徵及之。【Shakespeare, The Rape of Lucrece, 1367 ff. Spears, p.11).】又按張彥遠《歷代名畫記》卷九論韓幹馬,因斥子美不知畫;顧雲《蘇君廳覩韓幹馬障歌》亦有“甫也真凡目”之誚(詳見第五九八則論《柯山集》卷十三《石本韓幹馬圖》),語或過當。然如鄧椿《畫繼》卷九引子美詩“妙絕動宮牆”“放筆為直幹”二句,歎為“天機本高,一語之確,有不期合而自合者。非前身顧、陸,安能道此等語”云云,逾量溢美,幾類貢諛,蓋欲曲成真文人必曉畫之說耳,非篤論也。子美《前殿中侍御史柳公紫微仙閣畫太一天尊圖文》有云:“仙官洎鬼官無央數眾。陽者近,陰者遠,俱浮空不定,目所向如一。”陰陽即隱顯之意,六字頗能道配景透視 (perspective) 之理。子美全集中,妙窺畫意,惟此一節,他皆揣侔鋪陳之詞藻而已。
