海藻多糖作为主要成分,因其具有多种生物活性和功能而日益受到人们的关注。特别是以海藻多糖为原料,利用海藻降解酶制备的海藻低聚糖,具有抗菌、抗肿瘤、抗病毒、抗凝血、抗炎等多种有益性能,在食品、化妆品和医疗保健行业具有很大的应用价值和发展潜力。
因此,开发能够有效降解海洋多糖的酶对于从海藻生物量中生产高价值产品具有重要意义。
《Marine Drugs》计划出版一期“海藻降解酶的研究”特刊。本期特刊将重点介绍海洋生物中可降解海藻多糖(如琼脂、褐藻胶、石莼多糖、岩藻多糖、卡拉胶、昆布多糖等)的酶的鉴定、分离、纯化、生化特性及其水解产物的生物活性特性,以供工业应用。如有意向,请将论文题目和摘要发送到zhubenwei@njtech.edu.cn.

The seaweed polysaccharide as the main component drawn increasing attentions due to their various biological activities and functions. Especially the seaweed oligosaccharides, which were prepared from seaweed polysaccharides by seaweed-degrading enzymes, possessed beneficial properties, including anti-bacterial, antitumor, antiviral, anticoagulant, and anti-inflammatory, and they hold great value and promising potential
in food, cosmetics, and the healthcare industry.
Therefore, the exploitation of enzymes that can efficiently degrade marine polysaccharides is growing and is important for the process of production of high-value products from seaweed biomasses.
The Journal of Marine Drugs is planning to publish a Special Issue on “Research on Seaweed-Degrading Enzymes”. The Special Issue will focus on the identification, isolation, purification, and biochemical properties of enzymes from marine organisms, which can degrade seaweed’s polysaccharides such as agar, ulvan, fucoidan, alginate, carrageenan, laminarin, etc., and bioactive properties of their hydrolytic products for industrial application.
