一、英语太差:语病十一处
1.教学楼teaching building是小众说法。正确说法classroom building教学楼/教室楼;school building教学楼(含实验楼/艺术楼);academic building(高校)学术楼;偶见teaching block或teaching building;有大学叫LTB学教楼Learning and Teaching Building的。行政楼/办公楼administration building简称admin building。2.说the teaching building不够亲和(要就放习题),改说our classroom building可拉近距离体现人与物关系。3.突兀的Building 2(前无B1)。综合楼Multipurpose /Multi-use /Mixed-use/ Multifunctional building词汇超标太难,说arts and science building科艺楼呀!4.用错also致误解:误以为图书馆在二楼,实际在三楼。5.用错(We学生...)hold:举办校级运动赛事的组织者是学校,详见四。6.冗余词school:运动赛事没必要强调校级。结合5#6#,改说We...have sports events为妥。7.用错or:详见四。8.用错in:平面运动宜用on。讲踢球play football/soccer时强调运动发生在...表面上,说on (the surface of) the sports field (/playground)。因playground有立体设施如秋千滑梯等,强调的是在...范围内而用介词in搭配,可说play in the playground在游乐场里玩,但说play football in the playground是不自然的。9.删冗余in it。10.错拆there be句:教师乙最后两碎句应合并There's a library(. It's )on the ... floor.。11.转折but难成立:餐厅无论大小,饭菜可口都是必须的,得改。【原文】Teacher 1: This is the teaching building. It has three floors. All the classrooms are in this building.教师甲:这教学楼,共三层,教室都在这。在熟悉校园环节(school tour),首位讲解员T1美女教师傻傻地说的三句幼稚园话讲解词毫无思维营养,根本无法体现教师应有学识,与两位同学讲解词在内容和句式上形成鲜明对比:师不如生。【修改】Teacher 1: Meet Mr. Classroom Building! With three floors of big, bright classrooms, he’s here to welcome you every day. You’ll spend most of your time here learning and having fun (together) with your friends and teachers. 【译文】教师甲:来见过咱们的“教学楼先生”!他携三层宽敞明亮的教室,每天恭迎你们。你和同学、老师一起度过大部分学习时光,收获知识,享受快乐。【说明】用拟人修辞手法,让描述更生动,增加温度和亲近感。把同学classmates用friends朋友来说,表达友爱同学。次位讲解员Teacher2帅哥教师讲的五句话违反多种常识,还说出思维水平低下的碎句,尽显平庸无能(见三)。教材本应把握良机,把两位教师代言人讲解词当成载体去展现教师卓越的讲解水平,彰显学校是知识殿堂。相反,教材却成功地让“学高为师”的教师形象消散殆尽!一线教师教到这里时无不尴尬甚至痛苦,不解:教材编写者对一线教师怎么这么狠?外研社不让我批该教材“粗制滥造”,咱也不怀疑其属于那种蓄意毒教材,但批其“粗心大意”外研社是逃不掉的。难道外研还有face说此教材是精心打造的“优秀教材”要再投诉删今日拙文?钱穆:人类文化绝不是唯物的,而是心物交融。 钱穆曾炮轰小学语文教材“小猫跳大狗叫”是要把我们整个民族都给教育成白痴![引自晋如诗词]。王东华:“大批孩子正被当傻子对待!” 《义务教育英语课程标准(2022)》要求引导学生在“人与自我”主体范畴,“学习与生活”主题群,构建人和物的更紧密的联系。根据课程标准,孙有中张虹《英语》教材是不符合要求的。【原文】Teacher 2: This is Building 2. On the first floor, we have science and computer labs. Music rooms, art rooms, and a dance hall are on the second floor. And there’s also a library. It’s on the third floor. 【点评】第四句容易被误解为图书柜也在二楼,读完最后一句才知道在三楼。处处违反常识:欠缺安防常识:错放一楼的电脑房,因电脑及配件都价值不菲而特容易招贼,应上三楼。中学化学实验室,放三楼利于快速排出有害气体稀释到空中,如考虑事故发生时要快速疏散师生,放一楼也有道理。但物理、生物实验室不如其它室那么重,要放一楼放不下那就上三楼。违反科学常识:错放二楼的舞蹈室,因舞厅跳舞容易引起共振导致楼板跳塌,应下一楼。音乐室楼层越高,传音越远,越影响教学楼上课;音乐室钢琴太重,上楼不小心砸烂了事小、人有伤亡兹事体大;应下一楼。这也属于安全常识。雨雪天,上体育课时的室内运动厅sports hall体育室或gym(nasium)健身房/体操房,没安排上?放一楼,健身器械铁疙瘩贼重,贼人贼不想要。没有图书常识:错放三楼的图书馆,因楼层太高借书还书忒不快捷、图书太重、一楼潮湿,应下二楼。降低重心,提高大楼防震抗震能力,这也是科学常识。【进退两难】To be, or not to be, that is the question. 已有多位教师抱怨,有理有据地向教研员反映教材错误,但最终结果却是:继续按照错误英语教给学生!——因为各省市中考试题是根据教材命题的,如果教给学生正确英语但因与教材错误英语相左,那么学生在考试时反而会因此而丢分、从而会成功降低升学良机。有一位教师还因指出教材错误而失去评优晋级机会。呜呼!难怪啊,国民英文水平已多年连续下跌!55555【提醒Warning】使用反常识的英语教材,教师将越教越傻[一如外研社上面的教师形象],学生会越学越笨。【修改】Teacher 2: Welcome to our arts and science building! We have music rooms, a dance hall, and a gym on the first floor. The two art rooms are on the second floor. The library is also on the second floor. We can read and study in a quiet place. Science and computer labs are on the third floor. You'll have a great time learning in this building.

It’s my favourite place at school.【点评】大家都会唱会说Beijing Welcomes You!北京欢迎您!教材完全可以编写Our sports ground welcomes you!学校操场欢迎你!【Who?一锅浆糊的We】晨练出早操的学生(及部分教师)主语用We是适合的,而(We) hold school sports events(举行学校运动会;举办校级体育赛事)这We指的却是举办校级体育赛事的组织者学校[hold /organize /stage](年段班级之间或班级内赛事组织者也是教师),学生只是运动活动赛事的参与者和观看者,删除school会好些,但仍应改用学校作主语Our school holds school sports events here.。特殊情况下学生说We hold...events可指“我们学校”(学生会也可以组织体育赛事),但要归并还是得把hold改为更泛化的模糊动词have,说如We have sports events here.就说得通了。后句We run or play football的We指说话者学生甲自己和谁呢?(放学后在操场上跑步踢球的人少)。这些英文教授博导特级教师教研员英语教学专家思维混乱逻辑不清。第二句的school是冗余词,删。体育赛事sport(s) events或sporting events都可。【(学校的)运动会】英语说法sports day(英加澳新);field day(美小学室外) ;sports meeting(英)/sports meet(美): a meeting at which a number of athletic contests are held。校际运动会inter-school sports day(s)[所有项目仅在一天比赛的,用an ~后用单数的day]。【用错or】we run or play我们要么跑步,要么踢球,or表示选择性,明显的语法错误,应为,应该用 and表示并列关系两个动作并列发生。。偌大的操场,部分人run部分人play,同时进行更是常态。这些英文教授特级教师教研员只会抄袭run or play football,基本逻辑常识都不讲啊!【选择性or举例】run or play football 举例法泛指耗能较大的运动,例如:Despite all this for the past year I've frequented the gym and have a solid training regime, I'm pretty strong and have added a decent amount of muscle to my naturally skinny frame. So I might look like I run or play football but in reality I am mind-bogglingly awful at sport of any kind. 尽管如此,在过去的一年里,我还是经常去健身房,并制定了严格的训练计划,我相当强壮,在我天生瘦弱的身体上增加了相当多的肌肉。所以我看起来可能像是在通过跑步或踢足球来健身,但实际上我在任何运动方面都表现得非常糟糕。 又如:Trying to keep fit is the main one for me whether I run or play football or something like that, so that's the biggest benefit. 对我来说,不管是跑步、踢足球还是做类似的事情,保持健康都是最重要的,所以这是最大的好处。【run or play另一种意思】表达个人兴趣爱好或专注于某事:网络流行语“不是在做...事,就是在去做...事的路上”用以表达专注/投入/忙碌的程度。如生动表达“我最大的hobby就是踢球”,换一个风趣幽默的修辞夸张(Hyperbole):【英译】When I am not working, you can find me either playing football or on my way to play football.【解释】说成“我工作之余,你们可以看到我不是在踢球就是在去踢球的路上。” 是不是画面感十足?但得简化,先制造悬念卖关子,再说实质表达:【风趣】When I am not studying, you can find me running or playing football/soccer.我学习之余,不是在踢球就是在去踢球的路上。如:Xiao Li loves playing weiqi. You can find him running or playing weiqi.小李爱下围棋,他不是在下棋,就是在去下棋的路上。【英语惯用法句式】You can find me(/us) running or doing sth.用于表达自己热衷的运动嗜好。我(们)不是在...,就是在赶去...的路上。用于个人或一对或极小集体。In my free time, you can find me running or playing ice hockey.(社区冰球馆夏季也开)。这里run赶路;奔波(参on the run)赶往(某地),基本上不是指跑步。再如:From March 18 to May 14, 2024, Europeans found Li Yundi running or performing at a solo concert. 在欧洲,从2024年3月18日到5月14日,李云迪不是在举行个人演奏,就是在去演奏会的路上。【修改】Student 1: Our sports ground welcomes you! We have our morning exercises and PE classes here, and our school holds sports events, too. (That's why) It's my favourite place at school - because we don't (need to) write exams here. After school, we run and play football, and do other sports. As a football fan, I want to play for China and bring home first place (when I grow up)./...I have a dream of playing for China and bringing home first place. Who's with me?/Will anybody join me? (均为小学词汇) [country和join/dream初中词汇] 五、应培养学生Always be prepared(时刻准备着)主人翁意识。【原文】Student 2: This is our dining hall. It’s not big, but the food is good.【点评】转折but,难成立,参阅:一、11.。学校餐厅,论大小毫无意义,关键是要确保食品卫生安全、饭菜可口搭配营养科学。可以说fresh新鲜的、小学词汇healthy健康的/营养搭配科学的,那就不是预制菜没有臭猪肉;可以说小学词汇clean干净的(没有农药残留)当然也没有鼠头鸭脖;饭菜food好吃可以用good、delicious美味可口[初中词汇]、excellent、tasty[超表词],家长就不用被迫给孩子送餐。《义务教育劳动课程标准(2022年版)》课程理念“加强与学生生活和社会实际的联系”,任务群每年都有“烹饪与营养”。还可以加两句体现学科间交叉渗透,说如:【修改】Our dining hall welcomes you! The food here is always fresh, clean, healthy and wonderful/delicious/good. 餐厅欢迎你!我们这里的饭菜新鲜卫生、美味可口!It's a great place to relax and chat with friends during lunch breaks. When we want to watch and learn about cooking, we can come and help.如何确保学校食堂食品卫生安全?实在不行,那就让学生也参与监督吧!社会实践课程标准,可以写明要求学生监督本校食品安全,增强他们对食品安全的意识和责任感,培养主人翁精神,并且教育部门要奖励发现问题的学生,彻底让劣质食材及操控者无所遁形,从而切实改善学校食品安全环境。Teacher 1: Meet Mr. Classroom Building!
