中小学校教室中部冬季气温标准：18~22 ℃(64～72°F)；
冬季采暖室内标准 (中国)：16～24 ℃(61～75°F)；
ASHRAE建议冬季室内温度(美国)：20～24 °C(68～76°F)。

温度超过22至23°C (71.6至73.4°F)，可能会出现黏膜刺激、头痛和疲劳的症状。
研究发现，在冬季将温度保持在较低的热舒适范围内，而在夏季保持较高的热舒适范围内，症状会减少。
夏季室内标准 (中国)：22～28°C (72 – 82°F)；
ASHRAE建议夏季温度 (美国)：22.5-26.5°C (73 - 80°F)。

Temperatures over 22 to 23°C (71.6 to 73.4°F) are associated with symptoms including mucosal irritation, headache, and fatigue. One study has found that maintaining the indoor temperature at the lower range of thermal comfort in the winter and the higher range of thermal comfort in the summer can reduce the occurrence of these symptoms.
