强化课堂管理培训,夯实高效教学基础
课堂是教学的主阵地,而良好的课堂管理是实现有效教学的前提。本次培训首先由国际方向教学总监Mr Vincent Roy围绕“Classroom Management/Discipline”这一主题,与教师们深入探讨了有效的课堂管理策略。通过案例分析与互动研讨,教师们不仅掌握了多样化的课堂调控技巧,还学会了如何激发学生的内在动力,使每一堂课都充满活力与效率。
The classroom is the main battleground for teaching, and effective classroom management is the foundation for achieving successful instruction. In this training session, Mr. Vincent Roy, the Director of International Curriculum, led an in-depth discussion on the topic of "Classroom Management/Discipline." Through case studies and interactive discussions, teachers not only gained diverse classroom management techniques but also learned how to inspire students' intrinsic motivation, ensuring that every lesson is both dynamic and efficient.
聚焦教学关键问题,精准施策
针对当前教学中的难点与痛点,本次培训特别设立了“聚焦教学关键问题”环节。江苏省特级教师、教授级高级教师、我校特级顾问陈兆华老师以数学学科为切入口,详细阐述了教学中的关键工作,包括备课、讲课、板书、要点、记忆和笔记等六个方面。他展示出一份份亲手书写、保留了近四十年的数学笔记,引发了教师们的热烈讨论。教师们更加明确了教学方向,学会了如何精准识别并有效解决教学中的关键问题,从而推动教学质量持续提升。
To address the current challenges and pain points in teaching, this training session included a special segment titled "Focusing on Key Teaching Issues." Chen Zhaohua, a distinguished teacher of Jiangsu Province, a professor-level senior teacher, and a special advisor at our school, used the subject of mathematics as an entry point to elaborate on the critical aspects of teaching. He covered six key areas: lesson planning, instruction, chalkboard writing, key points, memory retention, and note-taking. Chen also shared his personal math notes, meticulously handwritten and preserved for nearly forty years, sparking lively discussions among the teachers. As a result, teachers gained clearer direction in their teaching practices and learned how to accurately identify and effectively address key issues in their instruction, thereby continuously improving the quality of education.
针对新入职的青年教师,陈老师也提出了宝贵建议,强调在实际教学中要“合理放缓”进度,确保基础薄弱的学生也能“学有所成”。他鼓励教师们在面对困境时,要具备“出圈思维”,从学生的问题出发,旁征博引,融会贯通,不做知识的“搬运工”,而应成为学生学习的“陪跑者”。
For newly hired young teachers, Mr. Chen offered valuable advice, emphasizing the importance of "moderating the pace" during instruction to ensure that even students with weaker foundations can achieve meaningful progress. He encouraged teachers to adopt "out-of-the-box thinking" when facing challenges, starting from the students' issues and drawing on a wide range of examples to integrate and apply knowledge effectively. Rather than merely acting as "conveyors of knowledge," teachers should strive to be "learning companions" who run alongside their students throughout the learning journey.
开展社会情感培训,培养全面发展人才
社会情感能力是学生未来成功的关键之一。我校长期与美国北卡州立大学新教学法研究所合作探究社会情感学习(SEL)理念和实践。作为负责该合作项目的Mr Michael Angelo老师通过专题讲座,分享了这一理念和实践过程,帮助教师们理解并培养学生的自我认知、自我管理、人际交往及社会责任感等能力。这不仅有利于促进学生综合素质的全面提升,也为构建和谐的师生关系奠定了坚实基础。正如古语所云:“君子性非异也,善假于物也”,教师们在日常教学中应善于发现学生的闪光点,突破“短板”偏见,帮助学生找到适合自己的学习方法与思维方式。
Social-emotional skills are one of the key factors for students' future success. Our school has long collaborated with the New Pedagogies Research Institute at North Carolina State University to explore the concepts and practices of Social-Emotional Learning (SEL). Mr. Michael Angelo, who is in charge of this collaborative project, delivered a specialized lecture to share the principles and practical approaches of SEL. He helped teachers understand how to develop students' self-awareness, self-management, interpersonal skills, and sense of social responsibility. This not only promotes the comprehensive improvement of students' overall qualities but also lays a solid foundation for building harmonious teacher-student relationships. As an ancient saying goes, “The superior person is not innately different but excels through utilizing resources.” Teachers, therefore, should be adept at recognizing students' strengths, overcoming the bias of focusing on "shortcomings," and assisting students in discovering learning methods and thinking patterns that suit them best.
提升师德师风,树立良好教师形象
师德师风是教师职业的灵魂。我校高度重视师德师风建设,通过初中党支部书记曹雪娥老师的深入解读,教师们深刻感受到了教育的崇高使命。习近平总书记强调:“要把师德师风建设摆在首要位置,引导广大教师继承发扬老一辈教育工作者‘捧着一颗心来,不带半根草去’的精神,以赤诚之心、奉献之心、仁爱之心投身教育事业。”本次培训引导教师树立正确的教育观、人才观和质量观,强化责任意识和使命担当,同时健全师德考核机制,确保每位教师都能成为学生健康成长的引路人和同行者。
Professional ethics and conduct are the soul of the teaching profession. Our school places great importance on the development of these values. Through the insightful interpretation provided by Ms. Cao Xue'e, the Secretary of the Junior High School Party Branch, teachers deeply felt the noble mission of education. President Xi Jinping has emphasized, “The construction of teacher ethics and conduct must be given top priority. Teachers should be guided to inherit and carry forward the spirit of the older generation of educators, who dedicate themselves to education with a heart full of devotion and leave with nothing in return.” This training session guided teachers to establish the correct views on education, talent, and quality, while reinforcing their sense of responsibility and mission. Additionally, the session emphasized the importance of strengthening the evaluation mechanism for professional ethics, ensuring that every teacher becomes a mentor and companion in the healthy growth of students.

Innovative teaching methods are a crucial driving force in advancing the modernization of education. In this training session, Ms. Yang Xiaofeng from the International Department's Chinese group introduced the ATL (Approaches to Teaching and Learning) methodology, encouraging teachers to explore practical applications based on the characteristics of their subjects. Using the Chinese language curriculum as an example, Ms. Yang demonstrated how to transform passive responses into active learning by developing students' cognitive, emotional regulation, and metacognitive skills.
杨老师通过对文学文本白先勇的《游园惊梦》和非文学文本电影《钢琴家》的对比,带领学生探讨“战争中底层边缘人物的精神寄托”这一主题。一篇篇作业、一份份读书笔记、一段段精彩的课堂实录视频,让在座的老师们受益匪浅。通过这些新型教学模式,不仅有效激发了学生的学习兴趣和主动性,也促进了学生高阶思维和创新能力的培养。
Ms. Yang led students in exploring the theme of "spiritual solace for marginalized individuals in wartime" by comparing the literary text "The Dream of the Garden" by Bai Xianyong with the non-literary text, the film "The Pianist." The detailed assignments, insightful reading notes, and engaging classroom recording videos provided invaluable learning experiences for the attending teachers. These innovative teaching methods not only effectively stimulated students' interest and initiative but also fostered the development of higher-order thinking and creativity.
深化“教学评”一体化,构建高效课堂新模式
为进一步提高教学评价的科学性和有效性,我校积极推进“教学评”一体化改革。全国优秀教师、江苏省特级教师、教授级高级教师、我校特级顾问陈泽诞老师以丰富的教学经验和长期的教学研究,为教师们构建高效课堂提供了切实可行的方法和指导。陈老师以“make us think”为话题,引导教师深入思考对学校、教学、学生及自身的认识。他强调,通过了解学情、教情、校情、考情,逐步构建多维度、全过程的教学评价体系,实现教、学、评的有机融合。
To further enhance the scientific and effective nature of teaching evaluations, our school is actively advancing the integration reform of “Teaching and Evaluation.” With extensive teaching experience and years of research, Mr. Chen Zedan, a nationally recognized outstanding teacher, Jiangsu Province’s distinguished teacher, and professor-level senior teacher, provided practical methods and guidance for creating effective classrooms. Using the topic “Make Us Think,” Mr. Chen guided teachers to deeply reflect on their understanding of the school, teaching, students, and themselves. He emphasized that by understanding the context of students, teaching, the school, and assessments, educators can gradually build a multidimensional and comprehensive teaching evaluation system, achieving an organic integration of teaching, learning, and evaluation.

Against the backdrop of deepening educational reforms and comprehensively improving the quality of compulsory education, this reform not only facilitates timely understanding and feedback on students' learning conditions but also provides more personalized and precise learning support for students.
引入正面管教理念,构建和谐师生关系
正面管教是一种既不惩罚,也不娇纵的教育方法。我校将正面管教理念引入教育领域,通过国际部科学组陈华华老师的解读,帮助教师掌握运用正面管教策略的技巧。陈老师深入浅出地列举了身边的案例,强调“教育学其实也是关系学”,构建良性的沟通机制不仅能改善师生关系,还能有效促进学生自律性和责任感的形成。
Positive Discipline is an educational approach that avoids both punishment and indulgence. Our school has introduced the concept of Positive Discipline into the educational field. Through the insights of Ms. Chen Huahua from the International Department’s Science Group, teachers have learned how to effectively apply Positive Discipline strategies. Ms. Chen provided clear examples from her surroundings, emphasizing that "education is essentially about relationships." She highlighted that building a positive communication mechanism not only improves teacher-student relationships but also effectively fosters students' self-discipline and sense of responsibility.
作为教师,更应成为“和善而坚定的领导者”,让学生明白错误是学习的机会,逐步培养学生的开放性和成长型思维。同时,多运用鼓励,肯定学生们的专长。开学初期,教师应与学生共同制定日常惯例,给予他们安全感、信任感与归属感,从而激发学生的责任感与成就感。正如陈老师所说,改变是一个持续的过程,教师要率先垂范,才能在学生身上看到积极的变化。
As educators, we should be "kind yet firm leaders," helping students understand that mistakes are opportunities for learning while gradually nurturing their openness and growth mindset. It is also essential to use encouragement and recognize students' strengths. At the beginning of the school year, teachers should collaborate with students to establish daily routines, providing them with a sense of security, trust, and belonging, thereby stimulating their sense of responsibility and achievement. As Ms. Chen said, change is an ongoing process, and teachers must lead by example to see positive transformations in their students.

学生心理健康是教育中不可忽视的重要方面。国际部社科组吴涵倬老师以“洞悉学生心理的艺术与科学”为主题,与老师们做了分享。通过系统学习心理健康理论知识与掌握心理咨询与干预技能,教师们能够更好地理解学生需求、关注学生心理变化,为学生的健康成长提供有力保障。
Student mental health is a crucial aspect of education that cannot be overlooked. Ms. Wu Hanzhuo from the International Department’s Social Sciences Group gave a presentation on "The Art and Science of Understanding Student Psychology." Through systematic learning of mental health theories and mastering counseling and intervention skills, teachers are better equipped to understand students' needs, monitor their psychological changes, and provide robust support for their healthy development.
吴老师以风趣幽默的语言解读了青少年时期的心理特征,从生物学视角探讨了遗传因素对学习的影响以及大脑发育与学习的关联。他将原本枯燥的理论知识与实际教学中的案例相结合,令在场教师频频点头。临近结尾,吴老师深情地说道:“每一个大人都曾经是一个孩子,只不过我们忘记了。”他提醒大家要保持童心,保持对未知的求知欲,方能在教育道路上行稳致远。
Ms. Wu used engaging and humorous language to explain the psychological characteristics of adolescence, exploring from a biological perspective how genetic factors influence learning and the connection between brain development and learning. By combining the usually dry theoretical knowledge with practical examples from teaching, she made the concepts resonate with the attending teachers. Near the end, Ms. Wu emotionally remarked, "Every adult was once a child; we’ve just forgotten." She reminded everyone to maintain a childlike curiosity and desire for the unknown to ensure a steady and enduring journey in education.
团建精彩纷呈,凝聚教学力量
为进一步增强团队凝聚力,帮助新教师更好地融入教学部大家庭,一场别开生面的团建活动在体育馆精彩举行。现场欢声笑语不断,气氛热烈而温馨,充分展现了教学部团队积极向上的精神风貌。
To further enhance team cohesion and help new teachers integrate better into the teaching department's family, a unique team-building event was held in the gymnasium. The venue was filled with laughter and joy, creating a lively and warm atmosphere that vividly showcased the teaching department's vibrant and positive spirit.
活动伊始,教师们按大学科划分成若干小组,挑战“呼啦圈环绕”游戏。组员们手拉手,紧密配合,呼啦圈在队伍中灵活穿梭,不仅考验了大家的身体协调性和反应速度,也让大家体会到“团结就是力量”的真谛。在“听歌识曲”环节,一首首耳熟能详的歌曲刚一放出前奏就有老师们积极举手作答。让音乐成为连接心灵的桥梁,让团队间的默契值直线飙升。在“你划我猜”这一环节,更是将团建活动推向高潮,各种夸张的表情、滑稽的动作层出不穷,引得在场的教师们捧腹大笑。最后“传送乒乓球”环节,教师们利用一方小小的手机屏幕,接力传递乒乓球到终点。看似简单的任务,实则离不开极高的专注度和团队协作力。每一次成功的传递,都是团队智慧与策略的胜利。
At the start of the event, teachers were divided into several groups based on major subjects to tackle the "Hula Hoop Relay" game. Team members held hands and worked closely together as the hula hoops maneuvered through the line, testing their physical coordination and reaction speed while embodying the true essence of "unity is strength."
In the "Name That Tune" segment, familiar melodies prompted teachers to eagerly raise their hands to answer as soon as the intro began. Music became a bridge connecting hearts, significantly boosting team synergy.
The "Charades" segment took the team-building activity to new heights, with exaggerated expressions and humorous actions making everyone laugh heartily. Finally, in the "Ping Pong Ball Transfer" challenge, teachers used a small phone screen to pass a ping pong ball to the finish line. Though the task seemed simple, it required high levels of focus and teamwork. Each successful transfer was a testament to the team's wisdom and strategic cooperation.
团建活动使教师们在忙碌的教学工作之余,释放压力,放松心情,不仅增进了彼此间的交流和默契,更让大家深刻体会到了团队合作的重要性。
