双语组的音乐老师们通过表演为大家重现了《西游记》中的一个经典片段。只见扮演成蜘蛛怪的她们在舞台上嬉笑打闹，这时，贪玩的猪八戒想去凑凑热闹。不料，蜘蛛怪们一拥而上，用蛛丝将猪八戒擒住。好在勇敢、正义的孙悟空及时赶来，把蜘蛛怪们打得节节败退，这才救出了猪八戒。这一精彩的场景让我们明白，在面对困难和邪恶时，勇敢和正义就像闪耀的光芒，能帮助我们战胜邪恶。我们都应成为像孙悟空那样勇敢、正义的人。 

The music teachers from the Bilingual Group re-enacted a classic scene from "Journey to the West" through their performance. Dressed as spider demons, they laughed and played on stage. Meanwhile, the mischievous Piggsy decided to join the fun. Unexpectedly, the spider demons rushed forward and captured Piggsy with their webs. Fortunately, the brave and just Monkey King arrived in time to defeat the spider demons, rescuing Piggsy! This exciting scene reminded us that courage and justice shine like a beacon in the face of difficulties and evil, helping us to overcome adversity. We should all strive to be brave and just, like the Monkey King.

朗文组的老师们精彩呈现了东亚民间故事《鹤妻》。师徒四人从这个故事中领悟到了要懂得珍惜且不违背诺言的道理，他们成功地在这个挑战中获得了和平之书的碎片。这启示我们，无论面对怎样的诱惑，都要坚守内心的正义与善良，就像孙悟空守护取经之路一样，坚守信念，不忘初心。

The teachers from the Longman English Language group brilliantly presented the East Asian folk tale "The Crane Wife". From this story, the four travellers realized the importance of cherishing promises and not breaking one's word. They successfully obtained a piece of the Book of Peace in this challenge. This story taught us that, no matter the temptation, we must uphold justice and kindness in our hearts, much like the Monkey King who guarded the path to the scriptures, remaining steadfast in his beliefs and true to his original aspirations.

Steam组的老师们精心改编了《西游记》中的经典故事《三借芭蕉扇》，展现了孙悟空为助师徒四人穿越火焰山而向铁扇公主借芭蕉扇的冒险。这个剧本融合了声乐和舞蹈，为观众们呈现了一场精彩的视听盛宴。

The teachers from the STEAM group meticulously adapted the classic story "Borrowing the Palm Leaf Fan Three Times" from "Journey to the West," portraying the Monkey King's adventure in borrowing the Banana Leaf Fan from Princess Iron Fan to help the four companions cross the Flaming Mountains. Incorporating a spectacular dance and colourful lighting, the performance was an audio-visual treat!

语文组老师们精心编排了俄罗斯小短剧《巨大的萝卜》，以经典的“拔萝卜”故事为框架，讲述了村民们共同努力拔出巨大萝卜的寓言，传递了团结合作、共同克服困难的美好寓意。

在连续克服了四个挑战之后，师徒四人抵达了天竺国，正巧赶上天竺公主举行招亲大会。化身为天竺国少女的美术组老师们艳丽登场。她们巧妙地通过舞蹈表现了《西游记》中的这一经典情节，让孩子们在这种生动的艺术形式中，更好地领略这一经典故事的魅力。

The Longman English Language teachers delightfully staged the Russian short play, "The Giant Turnip," using the classic story of pulling up a giant turnip as their inspiration. This fable illustrated how villagers worked together to pull out a huge turnip, conveying a beautiful message of unity and cooperation in overcoming difficulties.  

After overcoming four consecutive challenges, our brave companions arrived in the Kingdom of Tianzhu just in time for the princess's marriage contest. The art teachers transformed into young maidens of Tianzhu and made a stunning entrance. They skillfully depicted this classic scene from "Journey to the West" through dance, allowing the children to better appreciate the beauty of this timeless story through vivid artistic expression.

孩子们跟随着师徒四人的旅程，开始沉浸式感受传统故事与民族元素的碰撞。

As the students followed the journey of the four travellers, they began an immersive experience of the collision between traditional stories and cultural elements.

ELA的老师们精彩呈现了一个名为《孙悟空与四个盲人》的小品。这场表演形象地诠释了视角差异对认知的影响。剧中孙悟空从盲人摸象的故事中明白不能片面看问题，启示我们要全面了解才能看清事物全貌。

The ELA teachers brilliantly presented a skit titled "The Monkey King and the Four Blind Men." This performance vividly illustrated how different perspectives can affect understanding. In the story, the Monkey King learned from the tale of The Blind Men and Alvin the Elephant that one should not view problems purely from one perspective. It serves as a reminder that a comprehensive understanding is necessary to see the whole picture.

体育组巧妙地将武术与舞蹈《大王叫我来巡山》融合，为观众们呈现了一场视听盛宴。伴随着极具节奏感的音乐，体育老师们闪亮登场，生动地展现了小钻风巡山的情景。这个表演不仅展示了舞蹈的感染力，也展现了武术的刚劲，为嘉年华的舞台增添了一抹独特的中华文化色彩。 

The PE team skillfully combined martial arts with the dance, "The King Told Me to Patrol the Mountain," offering a thrilling display for the audience. Accompanied by rhythmic music, the PE teachers made a dazzling entrance, vividly portraying the scene of “The Little Whirlwind” patrolling the mountain. This performance showcased the elegance of dance, and demonstrated the strength of martial arts, adding a unique touch of Chinese cultural colour to the Carnival stage.

数学组的老师们以《白蛇传》为题，通过角色扮演和古典舞蹈，形象呈现了这部经典传奇。他们不仅展现了角色的内在特质，还让学生们领略到了中国传统文化的魅力。

The mathematics teachers used the theme of "The Legend of the White Snake" to vividly present this classic legend through role-play and classical dance. They not only conveyed the inner qualities of the characters but also allowed the students to appreciate the magic of traditional Chinese culture.

在家长代表们的创意演出中，十四位超能妈妈变身为白骨精。她们企图用《桃花多多开》的舞蹈阻止唐僧师徒。然而，机智的孙悟空及时识破了诡计，并成功保护了师父。家委代表们的参与和努力，不仅为此次活动增添了许多色彩，也给我们留下了难忘的记忆。让我们为妈妈们点赞！

In the Parent Committee's creative performance, fourteen superhero mothers transformed into the White Bone Spirits. They attempted to stop the four travellers by dancing "Peach Blossom Blossoms." However, the clever Monkey King saw through the deception just in time and successfully protected his master! The participation and effort of the parent representatives not only added much colour to the event but also left us with unforgettable memories. A big round of applause to the Parent Committee!

在亚洲嘉年华的尾声，唐僧师徒四人历经挑战，终于集齐了和平之书的碎片。在这一重要时刻，联合校长Adam Neufiled和副校长刘桂香身着由我校服装校队孩子们设计的盛装登台，接过了这份象征着和平与智慧的宝书。这不仅标志着学校将继续秉承“和而不同，协力创新”的理念，同时也彰显了学校对孩子们创新精神、创造力的肯定和认可。

Concluding the Asia Intercontinental Carnival journey, the four travellers, led by Tang Sanzang, successfully gathered all the fragments of the Book of Peace after overcoming numerous difficulties, and then brought it to the Shanghai United International School Qingpu Campus. At that time, Principals Helen Liu and Adam Neufield, adorned in attire designed by our school's Fashion Team students, accepted this symbol of peace and harmony. This event signified the school's commitment to the principles of "Unity in Diversity, Innovation through Collaboration" and highlighted the school's recognition of the students' innovative spirit and creativity.

在这个充满挑战与机遇的时代，我们学校致力于培养学生成为未来社会的建设者和领导者。通过这样的活动，我们不仅重温了经典，更重要的是，我们希望能够让孩子们认识到，每个人的努力都可以是构建和平、和谐社会的重要一环。让我们携手共进，为孩子们的未来，为学校的明天，为一个更加和平的世界，继续书写新的篇章。
