滚针绣是一种长短针，一针靠一针的滚，不露针脚的称叶藏滚；稀疏显现针脚的称亮滚。

滚针绣首先做两针小针把线固定住，把多余的线头剪掉。滚针绣表现弯曲线条的针法，后针在前针二分之一处落针，针针紧逼。
Rolling needle embroidery first involves making two small needles to fix the thread and cutting off any excess thread ends. Rolling needle embroidery is a needle technique that expresses curved lines, with the back needle falling at half of the front needle and the needle tightly pressed.

有两种滚针：：一是针迹朝一个方向顺势刺绣，二是上下扭转成线。两种针法时而结合运用，特点是表现曲线时转折灵活，流畅自然。
There are two types of needle rolling: one is to embroider the stitch in one direction, and the other is to twist it up and down into a thread. The combination of two types of needlework is sometimes used, characterized by flexible turning and smooth and natural expression of curves.
入针和出针都要在线稿上，且尽量保持成一条直线，不要露出底稿,出针位置要保持在同一侧，针距根据图形不同而变化，直线的针距可以长些，有弧度的地方要短些， 这样转弯的地方才会顺滑，紧贴线稿。
Both the needle insertion and extraction should be on the draft and should be kept in a straight line as much as possible, without exposing the draft. The needle extraction position should be kept on the same side, and the needle spacing should vary according to different shapes. The needle spacing of the straight line can be longer, and the curved area should be shorter so that the turning area will be smooth and closely attached to the draft.

滚针绣法注意事项:
注意每一段针脚的长度保持一致，传统的滚针绣法，这一针的针尾与前一针的针头相接，在中间形成平缓的过渡。在弧线较大的地方我们针法不变，绣法变。
Precautions for rolling needle embroidery method:
Pay attention to keeping the length of each stitch consistent. In traditional needle rolling embroidery, the tail of this stitch is connected to the needle of the previous stitch, forming a smooth transition in the middle. In areas with larger arcs, our needlework remains unchanged while our embroidery technique changes.
滚针技法可以灵活运用，根据花样图案的要求进行变化，以实现丰富的艺术效果。
