首届上海国际光影节开幕 | 携手LEOX共同开启光影之旅

The first Shanghai International Light and Shadow Festival will be held from September 19 to October 18! 

A series of dazzling events at the main and sub-venues will debut successively, showcasing the city's charm and a sense of ease and joy. Key activities include the opening ceremony, Architectural Projection Show, Light Art Installation Exhibition, Urban Light and Shadow Map, Global Landscape Lighting Industry Exhibition , Shanghai Landscape lighting Achievement Exhibition.etc.  Over 100 themed activities and 100 check-in spots across Shanghai will create a new IP for night tourism and a new window for the city's image, aiding the integrated development of industries such as "Commerce, Tourism, Culture, Sports, and Exhibitions."

作为首届上海国际光影节的主要支持单位之一，黎欧思照明设计有限公司（LEOX）在本次活动的主会场——上海展览中心西一馆精心打造了名为《无垠探索》的沉浸式光影空间，提供给观众一场前所未有的视觉盛宴。

As one of the main supporters of the first Shanghai International Light and Shadow Festival, LEOX design partnership has meticulously created an immersive light and shadow space called "Boundless Exploration" at the main venue of this event — Hall West One of the Shanghai Exhibition Center, offering the audience an unprecedented visual feast.

《无垠探索》是一个以“宇宙探索”为主题的沉浸式体验空间，旨在围绕本届上海国际光影节的主题“穿越光年 Travel in Light——探时空之境，绽光影之美”，将观众带入一个通过光影与音乐交织而成的宇宙世界。

"Boundless Exploration" is an immersive experience space themed around "cosmic exploration." It aims to align with the theme of this year's Shanghai International Light and Shadow Festival, "Travel in Light — Explore the Realm of Time and Space, Unveil the Beauty of Light and Shadow," transporting the audience into a cosmic world interwoven with light, shadow, and music.

自宇宙诞生之初，光影现象便与天体运动紧密相连，构成了我们理解宇宙奥秘的基础。这些自然现象激发了人类对未知世界探索的欲望，促进了不同文化和背景之间的共鸣与理解。

Since the birth of the universe, light and shadow phenomena have been closely linked with celestial movements, forming the foundation for our understanding of the mysteries of the cosmos. These natural phenomena have sparked the human desire to explore the unknown world, fostering resonance and understanding between different cultures and backgrounds.

设计理念源于对宇宙起源的遐想，通过光影的变幻与音乐的结合，唤起观者对宇宙广袤与神秘的深刻感知。通过创建一个沉浸式空间，我们打破了观众与艺术作品之间的界限，使他们不仅仅是被动的观察者，更是体验者和探索家。

The design concept stems from the imagination of the origin of the universe. By combining the changes in light and shadow with music, it evokes a profound perception of the vastness and mystery of the cosmos in the viewers. By creating an immersive space, we break the boundary between the audience and the artwork, making them not just passive observers but also experiencers and explorers.

我们期望通过该沉浸式空间打破文化和语言的障碍，在穹顶之下汇聚来自不同背景的观众，使大家在探索宇宙奥秘的过程中感受到多元文化的共鸣与联系，跨越文化障碍，汇聚各异的视角，携手塑造一个多元化、包容性强、相互联系的全球社会。

We hope that through this immersive space, we can break down cultural and language barriers, bringing together audiences from different backgrounds under the dome. 

In the process of exploring the mysteries of the universe, everyone can feel the resonance and connection of diverse cultures, overcoming cultural obstacles, gathering various perspectives, and working together to shape a diverse, inclusive, and interconnected global society.

该方案中灯光装置的设计契合于馆内原有的建筑元素，其伞状造型如瀑布般从穹顶倾泻而下。

The design of the lighting installation in this plan aligns with the original architectural elements of the hall. Its umbrella-like shape cascades down from the dome like a waterfall.

通过对灯光效果与穹顶投影、音乐的结合，我们将带领观众从“序章：超越地平线”开始，进入一段宏大的银河之旅。在这一光影之旅中，我们不仅探索无垠宇宙的壮阔画面，更象征性地将观众从宇宙的边缘带回到现代化的光影之城——上海，叙述着这座城市的独特故事。

By combining lighting effects with projection and music, we guide the audience from the "Prologue: Beyond the Horizon" into a grand journey through the galaxy. In this journey of light and shadow, we not only explore the vast scenes of the boundless universe but also symbolically bring the audience back from the edge of the cosmos to the modern city of light and shadow — Shanghai, narrating the unique story of this city.
