In the midst of some of the most intense competition globally and even in East Asia, the SCBS students of the Class of 2024 have set new school records time and time again with their solid academic knowledge and enterprising spirit. Even though the difficulty of obtaining A* grades has increased this year and the competition has become fiercer, the SCBS students have still managed to achieve excellent A* grades. However, SCBS students still achieved outstanding results: 57% of students were awarded A*-A, and 77% of students were awarded A*-B, more than 70% of our graduates who received offers from their first choice universities. In the arena of A-Level exam, they have achieved remarkable results with outstanding performances, and have achieved a lot of competitive results, which demonstrates the resourcefuless of SCBS students. These excellent results are not only the reward for their hard work, but also a vivid reflection of the quality and academic strength of SCBS Education.

We are extremely proud of all the A-Level candidates of SCBS this year, and we are confident that they will continue to strive for academic excellence in their future studies. We look forward to their continued pursuit of academic excellence in their future academic lives!

This year, SCBS celebrates the graduation of its first founding students, and 52% of them are SCBS Founding students who entered the school in 2017 . During the seven years of growth with SCBS, as founding students, they are witnesses to the development of the school and have created an unforgettable history with the school.

SCBS has produced five cohorts of high school graduates so far, many of whom have gained admission to the top five universities in the UK (University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, Imperial College London, the London School of Economics and Political Science, and University College London). SCBS students are also frequently seen in prestigious institutions of higher learning around the world, such as the United States, Canada, and Hong Kong, China, where they have achieved academic and practical excellence and won wide acclaim.

It is worth mentioning that SCBS was awarded the "2024 Forbes China Outstanding A-Level School in Shanghai" in the "2024 Forbes China International School City Awards"! This is not only an affirmation of SCBS' outstanding performance in A-Level curriculum areas, but also a high recognition of SCBS' education philosophy, teaching quality and academic achievements.

Meanwhile, among the 150 schools in the ‘2024 Forbes China - Internationalised Bilingual Schools of the Year Award’, the city with the largest number of schools was Shanghai, with a total of 41 schools selected, and SCBS was awarded the twelfth place in China and the sixth place in Shanghai.
