一场充满了感动的康德双语小学部2024届毕业典礼在欢声笑语中，于浦东康德大剧场隆重举行。

序曲
康德双语小学部拥有丰富多彩的社团活动，涵盖心理、体育、艺术、科学等多个领域。其中，心理社为学生提供了一个了解自我、探索心理学的平台;篮球 (进阶) 和篮球 (初阶) 则帮助学生提高篮球技能，锻炼身体素质;合唱团和舞蹈队则让学生在音乐和舞蹈中感受艺术的魅力;五彩染坊则让学生学习手工染色的技巧，发挥创意;抖空竹是一项传统的中国民间游戏，能够锻炼学生的协调能力和反应能力;绘画面塑则培养学生的手工制作和绘画技能;小小科学迷俱乐部则让学生在有趣的科学实验中探索科学奥秘。这些社团活动不仅丰富了学生的课余生活，也培养了学生的兴趣爱好和多元化的发展。
开场表演抖空竹和俏花旦舞蹈就展示了小学部社团的丰硕成果。孩子们用熟练的抖空竹技术和精心编排的舞蹈，展示了他们在社团活动中的所学所得。孩子们扎实的功底和精彩的表演，赢得了现场观众的阵阵掌声。每一个节目都饱含着孩子们的辛勤付出和对未来的美好憧憬。

值得一提的是，舞蹈队曾获得黄浦区学生艺术节舞蹈专场二 等奖，还走上过中国上海国际艺术节国际青少年交流专场的舞台。

法人校长尹丽君女士、小学校长蔡骏老师、小学部国际课程主管Mrs. Helena Mc Donough老师和中方课程主管张志凯老师为毕业生颁发毕业证书。孩子们接过那象征着成长与收获的证书，脸上洋溢着自豪与喜悦。
在这个充满感动与感恩的环节，荣誉校长谢应平先生、执行校长Dr. Oliver先生与小学部校长蔡骏老师一同上台，为孩子们颁发年度全校奖，激励孩子们在各个领域继续努力。颁发了冰心奖、华罗庚奖、钱学森奖，特别奖励在义务教育阶段课程学习中，在写作、数学、科学创新中表现突出的同学。马丁路德金奖、bookworm奖、莎士比亚奖，特别奖励在双语融合学习中，在演讲、写作和阅读中表现突出的同学。而sports person of the year奖和character counts奖作为联合奖项特别奖励在体育、学术、品德方面表现优异、充分诠释康德双语学校精神校训的同学。

她说：“正如康德校歌里的一句歌词所唱到的那样：“身心健康，德才兼备，我们在康德幸福成长。”其完美诠释了我们在康德学习和生活的日子。丰富多彩的课程，校内和校外联动的实践活动，更让我们逐步明白了教育的真正目的------并非仅仅是知识的灌输，而是对于人的品格培养。中外协同、双语教学的方式，不仅培养了我们用两种语言表达对文化的理解，而且更能具备国际视角，带着同理心地去看待这个世界。每周的固定图书馆日，阅读一本自己喜爱的书，让我们能在这个碎片化信息膨胀的时代，沉下心来，逐步养成我们终身受用的爱思考的好习惯。”

5N班刘美骄的爸爸作为家长代表发言，他感慨万分，分享了他对康德双语的感激之情。他谈到孩子的成长与变化，感慨地说：“选择了康德，是因为我们相信这里不仅是知识的灯塔，更是品格的熔炉。康德的教育理念与我们对孩子的期望相契合——即培养批判性思维、团队协作，还有对国家和世界民族文化的深厚热爱。”
追梦前行
最特别的礼物
毕业典礼不仅是一场隆重的仪式，更是孩子们五年学习历程的完美诠释。在这个特殊的时刻，孩子们展现出了他们在康德双语小学部所积攒的成长能量，以及对SCBS的深情厚意。小学时光是孩子们人生道路的起点，毕业典礼上，他们彰显了在康德幸福成长的足迹。更重要的是，在这五年里，他们茁壮成长，怀揣梦想，获得了勇敢追梦的力量。
即将离开母校之际，孩子们用五年学习成果制作了四个班级的四本班级纪念册，每本纪念册里均有孩子们的自我介绍，也有孩子们眼中的老师、同伴，有英文诗歌的创作，还有老师们的寄语。每一页的内容编辑均由孩子们完成。这是孩子们送给自己的毕业纪念册，同时也是他们送给母校最珍贵的留念礼物。
在毕业季课程学习中，孩子们合作设计了毕业logo，四个班级的孩子们分别设计一个图标，用相应的学颜色填充，每个图标都有特殊的含义。第一个是以橙红色为主色调的太阳与彩虹的图标，寓意Sunshine，在雨后阳光的照耀下，出现了美丽的彩虹；第二个绿色的图标是飞马横穿山脉，寓意Courageous，象征着勇气与无畏；第三个蓝色的箭靶图标，寓意Belief，要有坚定的信念才能命中目标；最后一个黄色的星星图标寓意Sparkling，象征着闪耀的未来。
无论是毕业礼物还是歌曲填词，都体现了孩子们对知识的渴望、对未来的憧憬。他们用行动诉说着在康德双语小学部的点点滴滴，展示着自己在德智体美各方面取得的优异成绩。此刻，他们不再是稚嫩的孩子，而是勇敢迈向未来的追梦少年。

Anacrusis
SCBS Primary School has a wide variety of clubs covering a wide range of areas such as Psychology, Sports, Arts and Science. The Psychology Club provides a platform for students to learn about themselves and explore psychology; Basketball (Advanced) and Basketball (Beginner) help students to improve their basketball skills and build up their physical fitness; the Choir and Dance Club allow students to experience the charm of art through music and dance; Colourful Dyeing Workshop allows students to learn hand-dyeing skills and express their creativity; Diabolo Show, a traditional Chinese folk game, exercises students' coordination and reflexes; Painting develops students' handicraft and drawing skills; and the Little Science Fans Club allows students to explore the mysteries of science in interesting science experiments. These club activities not only enrich students' after-school life, but also cultivate their interests and diversified development.
The opening performances of Diabolo Show and Chinese Opera Girl Dance showcased the fruitful achievements of the Primary School Clubs. The children demonstrated what they had learnt in the club activities with their skillful bamboo-shaking skills and carefully choreographed dances. The children's solid skills and wonderful performance won the applause of the audience. Each programme was full of the children's hard work and their hopes for the future.

Diabolo
It is worth mentioning that the dance team has won the second prize in the Huangpu District Students' Art Festival, and has also taken to the stage of the International Youth Exchange Programme of the Shanghai International Art Festival in China.
Harvest
The graduates were presented with their graduation certificates by the Legal Principal, Mrs. Lijun Yin, Mrs. Cai, Mrs. Mc Donough and Mr. Zhikai Zhang, the Director of Chinese Curriculum. The children received their certificates, a symbol of growth and achievement, with pride and joy on their faces.
In this moving and thankful session, Mr. Yingping Xie, the Honourary Principal, Dr. Kramer, together with Mrs. Jun Cai, the Principal of Primary School, presented the whole school awards to inspire the children to continue to work hard in all areas of their lives. Firstly, Bingxin Award, Hua Luogeng Award and Qian Xuesen Award, these are awards for students who have excelled in writing, mathematics and science innovation in their compulsory education curriculum. Martin Luther King Award, Bookworm Award, Shakespeare Award, these awards are given to students who have excelled in speech, writing and reading in their bilingual integration studies.Finally, sports person of the year award, character counts award, these awards are given to students who have demonstrated excellence in sport, academics and character, and who exemplify the spirit of SCBS.
Award List
Mrs. Joy Pan, the Vice Principal, presented awards to the children who won the Outstanding Graduate Award. This honour is the best recognition of the children's five years of primary school life, not only for their excellent results, but also for their hard work and encouragement.
Student representatives
Yoyo Wang spoke on behalf of all the graduates. She stood on the stage, and with a tender but firm voice, she expressed her gratitude and reluctance to SCBS.
As the lyrics of SCBS' school song say: "Decent brave and true, we fear no challenge before us. Trust, Harmony and Decency. SCBS will in spire" It perfectly interprets our days of learning and living in SCBS. The rich and colorful courses and practical activities linked inside and outside the school have made us gradually understand the real purpose of education - not just the inculcation of knowledge, but the cultivation of human character. The Chinese-foreign collaborative and bilingual teaching method not only cultivates our understanding of culture in two languages, but also enables us to have an international perspective and look at the world with empathy. On the library day of each week, reading a favorite book allows us to calm down in this era of fragmented information expansion and gradually develop a good habit of thinking that will benefit us for a lifetime.

Parents' representatives
Speaking as a parent representative, the father of Ingrid Liu (5N), was overwhelmed with emotion and shared his gratitude for SCBS. He talked about his child's growth and changes and said emotionally, "We chose SCBS because we believe it is not only a beacon of knowledge, but also a melting pot of character. SCBS' educational philosophy matches what we expect from our children - that is, the development of critical thinking, teamwork, and a deep love for our country and the world's national cultures."
Follow your dreams and move forward
The most special gift
The Graduation Ceremony was not only a grand ceremony, but also a perfect illustration of the children's five-year learning journey. At this special moment, the children showed their growing energy accumulated in SCBS Primary School and their deep love and care for SCBS. Primary school is the starting point of the children's life path, and the graduation ceremony highlighted their footprints of growing up happily in SCBS. More importantly, during these five years, they have thrived, harboured their dreams and gained the strength to bravely follow them.
As they were about to leave their alma mater, the children used their five years of learning to create four class albums for four classes, each containing the children's self-introductions, their teachers and peers in the eyes of the children, poems in English, and messages from their teachers. Each page is edited by the children. This is the children's graduation souvenir book for themselves, and also the most precious souvenir gift for their alma mater.
As part of the Graduation Season curriculum learning, the children collaborated on designing graduation logos, with each of the four classes designing an icon to be filled in with the appropriate house colour, with each icon having a special meaning. The first one is a sun and rainbow icon in orange-red colour, which means Sunshine, a beautiful rainbow appeared under the sunshine after the rain; the second one is a green icon of a Pegasus crossing a mountain range, which means Courageous, a symbol of courage and fearlessness; the third one is a blue archery target icon, which means Belief, to hit the target only when you have strong faith; the last one is a yellow star icon, which means Success. The last yellow star symbolises Sparkling, symbolising a shining future.
Whether it was graduation gifts or song lyrics, they all reflected the children's desire for knowledge and vision for the future. They used their actions to tell the bits and pieces of their time in SCBS Primary School, showing their excellent achievements in all aspects of morality, intelligence, physicality and aesthetics. At this moment, they are no longer tender children, but bravely stepping towards the future of the dream-chasing teenagers.
Five years have passed by in a hurry, and the children have gained friendship, knowledge and growth in SCBS Primary School. With gratitude to their alma mater, they drew a successful conclusion to their primary school life. At this moment, they have the courage to go forward, and firmly believe that they can continue to write a brilliant chapter belonging to the SCBS students on the road to the future.
A unique highlight of the programme attracted the attention of all teachers, students and parents, that is, the four graduation songs adapted by the children of the four graduation classes. Listening to the melody, the lyrics flowed with the students' fondness for their alma mater and longing for the future, like a spring of fresh water nourishing the hearts of every listener.
In this moment full of moving and memories, a video was slowly played on the big screen. Frame by frame, like a time tunnel, it led all teachers, students and parents back to those days full of laughter. The figures running on the playground, the attentive eyes in the classroom, and the blossoming smiles on the stage, all of them evoked the endless love for these five years.

All the teachers and students sang the school song "Growing up happily in SCBS", which brought the graduation ceremony to a climax, and the stirring songs echoed in every corner of the campus. The song witnessed the children's growth in SCBS and also held their best wishes for the future.
