Beijing now has 10,800 forest attendants managing 24,000 grid units, supported by 7,000 managers and 46,000 rangers. Since implementing the forest attendants system, the city has issued 11 directives to ensure sustainable forest care.

北京全市各级林长总数达1.08万人，划分了2.4万余个管护网格，配备了7千余名林管员和4.6万余名护林员，实现了“山有人管、林有人造、树有人护、责有人担”。自林长制启动实施以来，全市已签发11道市总林长令。
